  Alta came by today, young man in a pith helmet and an alta shirt. began his rehearsed speech while i pointed to the large No Trespassing sign affixed to the screen door, not two feet from his below his face. i can read it from the sidewalks edge thirty feet away. i then pointed to the other No Trespassing sign he had to pass coming up the walk. i asked him if he knew what they were and what they meant, he answered he did, at which point i told him to get the f off my porch and i was calling the police.this is how everyone should deal with companies such as alta.you have to leave at least one star to comment. that should change.you should be able to leave a totally negative comment. this company deserves nothing but negative numbers, <5 star !IF you DIDN'T CALL them, they HAVE NO BUSINESS AT your DOOR! You should shop around for services as if you were shopping for a vehicle or any other high dollar item. NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT YOUR DOOR!you would think people would be smarter than that. but then look at this country.

  These people have scummy business practices. They have young people going door to door to get business saying that it is a local family business. Which is isn't. When i called the customer service number months later i was routed to somewhere in the northeast, i live in *****. I did not realize that they have a huge cancellation fee of $249 if you don't like the service. Is this the 1980's gym membership you can't cancel, wth? I have never left a bad review for a business before but took the time today to leave this one, that's how much i do not like this company. I read the other bad reviews here and they were very similar to my bad experience. i could go on and on but i cancelled today and i am done. Ugh, these people. Beware.

  We've been with them almost a *********** are doing a fine job! We have almost an acre & any time we need them to come out for a touch up its free of charge. Perhaps you should also read ****** reviews ?? hardly anyone uses BBB anymore! *** has been a wonderful tech & gets the job done!

  Absolute trash door to door sales. They bother folks day after day, despite No Soliciting signs and signs to not ring doorbells.

  Paid 221$ 4 /23/24for initial visit, I cleaned all cabinets out, the service rep was in there less than 5 minutes, and set out multiple ***** traps. In obvious places, under portable dish washer for God's sake! If that's all they actually did, I could have done that myself. I have had them to come out twice and scheduled for a 3rd to kill "German roaches" they are in basement now as well as several rooms besides kitchens. I called and demanded a refund to hire a competent exterminator, and to stop monthly recurring withdrawals of $46.23. was told I would be charged $300. Asked to speak to manager was told they were returning calls all day, I said other people complaining about your service. He said it was also refunds etc. Told me my signature was all on my statements emailed to me, I looked, tried to open pdf, and it said " this link is no longer available. So I am unable to view contact or receipt. I had to get a new debit card and go through banks fraud and security departments to be sure they would be unable to use my new card as they are able to find to go through **** and locate new card.I believe they should be shut down or charged a substantial charge.

  Had to call the cops on the sales person. He came twice and scared my young child. They should be put out of business. Im going to make sure everyone knows what a horrible business they are.Unfortunately I have to leave one star. I cant leave 0 stars.

  Elderly/disabled BEWARE of sales tactics. The company's rep came by my relative's house, he's elderly and visibly disabled. They managed to sell a service contract and get the debit card and charged a considerable amount for about 15 minutes of walking around and spot spraying. They had already done this last year, and I called to complain and ask them not to go by again. However, they did it again, seeing an easy target! We immediately called the company, but the Account Manager ****** and ************** Destiny refused to issue a refund. Founders ******* and ******************************* proudly state on their website that they are focused on the customer and not the money, and if a problem can't be fixed they'll "gladly" issue a refund. What a joke.

  If I could give ARDENT PEST CONTROL zero starts I sure would. I do rarely write a review about anything but this one really got to me. I had seen some spiders and crickets INSIDE my home, so we made the decision to have a pest control company come out and treat for the bugs. I did sign their agreement. saying I would use this company for 12 months at a rate of ***** a month for "GREAT BUG PROTECTION". When the tech came out --she was more worried about collecting the money that she was about taking care of us. She supposedly sprayed outside and never came into the house. In 10 minutes she was gone. Not a hi bye or kiss my foot. NEVER sprayed the inside for the spiders and crickets. Called ARDENT--they were sorry for the bad tech and would send a new tech out 3 days later between 9AM and 1:00PM --at 2:00PM the tech showed up and was very nice but by this time we were on our way out and could not stay. Called the company to advise them, I am not happy and did not want them back. Mind you I had already paid the first $***** for the first month. They said sorry I had bad experience and they would cancel the contract if I would pay $349.00 for the initial visit. I did lose it because I did not even get a full service the first time. They did offer a reduction down to $187.00 for the first visit as I still complained I did not get a full service the first time. They ended by say they would give me 30 days to pay before turning over to collection agency. My recommendation --DO NOT USE THE ARDENT PEST CONTROL.

  I tried to cancel my service and was told I had an outstanding balance for service only to my front yard while I was not home nor authorized Im normally home when they come to service. Yet they stated they came. I never authorized them to spray if they did not my responsibility. Now threatening to send full bill to collections. What kinda business does this do not use Ardent pest control in ***************.

  ***** does a great job for us. Ardent has always treated us well and we havent had any insect problems since starting with them.
