    LocatePeople claims to have an option to remove personal information from their website through an Opt Out page. However after several attempts to use this option for my Record ID *********, a 404 error page keeps popping up which indicates that it is not working. Attempts to contact them with the problem also results in the same 404 error page. There is no physical address (only a PMB in ******, **) or phone number, so there appears to be no other resort than to contact the BBB to address this issue and delete the information attached to this record.

    I am trying to remove my information from locate people.org. When you try to fill out their online form you get a message stating site is not valid or has been moved. I have not been able to contact them by phone to do this either.

    locatepeople.org is violating my privacy rights by refusing to remove my personal information from their website. all attempts to contact the organization have resulted in an "error" message when submitting communications.

    I have requested the removal of my profile from LocatePeople.org as it contains INCORRECT and ERRONEOUS information such as (BATTERY FVA) which does not belong to me. Also, I am a victim of identity theft which I've reported in the past; therefore, I do not want any personal information reporting online. I requested the removal on May 7th in which I received an email from LocatePeople.org stating my profile will be removed within 2 to 15 business days. However, I checked again as of May 29th and it's still appearing on their website. Therefore, I requested removal again. The disheartening part is that the information that's reporting is damaging and is not associated to me as I have NEVER been in legal trouble. I have a common name and I have been a victim of identity theft that I have reported in the past. LocatePeople should not be able to report any false information without fact checking prior to reporting it. This company is not adhering to their policy and they do not seem to care if any information that's reported is accurate. They've mentioned that they use resources from private and public sources but if you're identity has been stolen then this information may not be correct but by posting such information it is damaging my reputation and possibly others.

While we are unable to guarantee that public data will not be made available again, we can confirm that *************************** information was removed and an email confirmation was sent on May 31, 2023.

    It is also important to clear the browser's cache before completing a confirmation search in order to ensure updated results are seen rather than previously cached pages.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, I am still displeased with the business and how they freely post erroneous information about people.  This can be extremely damaging and can cause loss of employment among other things.

    I have someone looking to do harm to me and my family. I've asked several times for locatepeople.org to remove my information. They have not and I am in fear for our lives!!! WHY have they not done what I requested to keep us safe? I am pleading with you all, please remove my information. Record id *********. Please do this before he finds us!

    I have tried to have my personal information removed from locatepeople.org and they will not do it. I haven't had this kind of problem with any other data search company. I even paid for a Delete Me subscription and they can't get locatepeople.org to remove my personal information either. This is a violation of my privacy. Other companies have quickly complied to remove my personal info (such as address, phone number, relatives, etc) when I have asked them to. Locatepeople.org is not respecting people's privacy in the way they should- a request to have your personal information removed could be ******************** so it is a shame they are unresponsive to multiple requests.

    There is unauthorized, inaccurate information published on this website. This is a major safety issue! This website was never granted permission to post this information. I'm seeking permanent removal and deletion of the links and of any other connecting links (and any affiliated webpages). I am also requesting not to sell this information to other sites. I am also requesting Permanent removal and deletion of any information pertaining to related persons, this include all the names and information listed under "Possibly related to." This is a major safety violation.

    I am again requesting removal of my personal information from your databases and all others affiliated. I did not consent to have my personal information sold on your site.     Disregard locatepeople.org address I put, I can find an address. This company has all of my contact information for anyone to see if they ****** my name. I have asked them to remove it via their contact link and they havent responded to me or removed me.
