I have a subscription with the alkalize water bottle company. They do not send out a heads up email before automatically sending you an order that may be spaced out once a year. They sent me a filter that I did not need and after so much time had passed I had forgotten I even had the subscription, so when they sent me a product I A did not need and B. Was sent to an old address that I had moved from, I reached out to them letting them know they sent it to an old address I no longer lived at and needed a refund. They then proceeded to tell me, the only way I could receive a refund was if I returned the item. I explained to them that it was not possible to refund the original item they sent because they had sent it to an old address I no longer lived at and I had wished they would have sent a heads up email saying hey just so youre aware we are getting ready to ship your order, You have so many days to either cancel or adjust the order. They offered to re send me the order so that I may return the item and would only THEN, get a refund. Now only to find out that because they didnt word their email correctly, they will not be giving me a refund even after returning the order they said they would refund me for if I sent it back I am including a screen shot of their email because he will see that nowhere in that email they say you must send back the ORIGINAL item in order to receive a refund. They simply just said you need to send back the item for a refund. Which is what I was planning on doing with the new product they were sending to my correct address. Upon receiving it they then tell me now that they will not be refunding me because it is not the original item that they sent (w/o my knowledge) to the incorrect address. That even with me returning this new item, they are still not refunding me. Please carefully review their email to me as NOWHERE does it ever state that the only way I am able to be refunded is to send back the original item
