Better Business Bureau cautions consumers wanting to sell unused
diabetic test strips.
Over 1,100 consumer complaints have been filed with BBB regarding Beaumont-based QuickCash4TestStrips.com in a 3-year span.  Issues most reported concern: customer
service, billing/collection, refunds, and delivery.  Complaints increased nearly 78% in 2020 over the previous year and have
continued to increase each year.  In the last 12 months,
QuickCash4TestStrips.com received over 5,100 inquiries at BBB Southeast Texas.

Pattern of Complaint:
Customers
allege QuickCash4TestStrips.com does not make payments in a timely manner, does
not return calls or emails promptly after receipt of merchandise and fails to
make payments in full; often making only a partial payment resulting in
customers having to wait up to 60 days or longer for their full refund.   In addition, consumers state they receive
payment with a postdated check.  QuickCash4Teststrips.com
generally responds to complaints with some adjustments, and typically by
sending payment. However, the company has failed to rectify the cause of
complaints.

November 2020: BBB notifies business on pattern of complaints and requests an action plan to address issues reported
December 12, 2020: Company responds stating complaints were a small percentage of their customer base. The business further indicated factors outside of their control created problems, including unreliable postal delivery, staffing shortages, and weather-related business disruptions.
May 25, 2022: BBB notifies business to address complaints related to packaging disputes, postdated checks and partial payments.
June 17, 2022: Company responds stating additional information will be included on their website “terms and conditions” to better inform consumers on company procedures.
BBB determines the company has failed to address the pattern of complaints due to company's response, the increasing number of complaints and continued pattern of those complaints.

While customer expectations were not met with a timely payment, under the “Special
Terms & Conditions” https://quickcash4teststrips.com/  in the FAQ on the company’s website there are
several restrictions mentioned that could delay quick payment.   While other complaint issues are not
currently addressed in the FAQ section of the website, company states they will
update information to better address customer complaints.

BBB Tips for selling diabetic test strips online:
1.  Open your browser tab and search for customer reviews.
2.  Always contact the customer service number on a website. Numbers that don’t work or are never answered can be a red flag concerning the company's customer service capabilities.
3.  Read Terms & Conditions to determine if company is being fully transparent. Compare their marketing message to terms and conditions for payment.
4.  Always check BBB Business Profile at BBB.org before you buy.
