This complaint is regarding concerns with my Landlord: CRP/AR Prose Buda Owner, LP. Since the beginning of my lease I have noticed several discrepancies in my rental fees. As per my lease, I am to pay my rent of $1625 plus amenities to include the water, internet, trash, and a delivery service (which I was told was optional at time of signing my lease). Each month there are duplicate fees for these amenities or hidden fees that are being charged to my account. I am being charged for a delivery service fee which I do not use at all. Most recently, I appealed a court case for eviction and brought this up to the judge. He immediately informed me to file a complaint if the fees are not removed from the account within two weeks. As it stands, according to the Fair Business Act of 1975, this is in violation of section A that indicates businesses cannot use deceitful or fraudulent practices. I have requested an audit of my account in court on 1/6/2025 and as of yet I have not heard from the landlord. As of today, my account lists that I owe $3,972.43 although I have paid my monthly rent up to date. I have not heard from my landlord any update regarding my concerns. However, on the website I did find that other tenants are experiencing the same issues (tenant reviews is attached below for reference). This is very concerning and I would like to find a resolution to include either a refund or credit to my account.
