      The most horrible company! I placed an order over $100. They said it would not ship until I got home from my vacation. Guess what, all of the items are coming while I will be on vacation. You know what they told me? Have ***** redirect or hold. ***** only holds packages for 10 days. When I call The Container Store customer service, all they want me to do is try and track down the 3 shipments and do it all myself while I am supposed to be on vacation. The I teams I purchased were buy one get one half off. I asked how I would be compensated for this disaster. They offered me 20% off. No thank you. I can get that 20% off by ordering online and picking up in store. They act like they want to help you, but they are not. Do not shop here. I love the idea of the company and they have nice things to fix up your home. It is not worth ruining a vacation over when they cannot even compensate you with something for wasting your time for their mistake. Just stay away from this company if you need to order something online.

      Dear **************** Team,I am writing to urgently address a problem with my recent orders which were incorrectly processed for shipping instead of local in-store pickup at the ***************************************. My intention was to collect the items on July 25, as indicated during checkout.Unfortunately, there appears to have been a miscommunication or a glitch in your app, leading to the duplication of my order. I contacted your customer service for assistance and spoke with *** and *****. I explained my situation, including my inability to handle returns today due to personal reasons (I am expecting to deliver a baby). However, the responses I received were unsatisfactory and unhelpful, with suggestions that the error might have been my fault, which was distressing given the circumstances.As a frequent shopper at The Container Store, this experience has been disappointing and has reconsidered my future patronage. I kindly request immediate correction of my order to in-store pickup and assurance such issues wont recur.Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

      Charged a $493 "special shipping fee" for goods that were VERY poorly packaged and refused to refund that fee despite the photos I provided. I've been a long-time customer (and spent over $6,000 on this order alone), but no more. Terrible customer service.

      I hate to leave a review like this because I love the container store But today was an experience that I will never forget I was shopping today and my niece was standing near/on a little platform So ***** asked us politely if she could get down Immediately we had her get down Moments later well the rest of the time I spent in that store ***** followed my family around Every single place we went in that store she would be creeping up behind us pretending to be cleaning up I never seen her follow nobody else around I never seen her ask anybody else if they needed help This carried on for more than 10 minutes It was apparent with being the only black people in the store why she was following us Ive never felt more uncomfortable in my life I went to the front Made my purchase and let the cashier know the treatment my family received I will never shop here again and Ive been shopping here for a long time

      I ordered a wreath container 1/15/2024 and I was told that it will be ready for pick-up 2/2/24 at the *****, ** store. I called the store 2/7/2024 to check the status of my order and I was told that the item is no longer available and will not be able to fuifill the order. I waited 23 days just to find out that they have to cancel the order. Not a pleasant buying experience.

      Horrible customer service experience at the ***********, ** store on Saturday, December 16, 2023. My order pick up on Thursday 14, 2023 was not complete, it was picked up by someone else on my behalf, I called The Container Store ahead to ensure this arrangement was approved to do so. I provided my pick up person with my two email orders. One order was fulfilled in full. The first order was not, it was Metro shelving, 3 shelves were missing. I provided The Container Store person an approximate time on December 14th when the order was picked up. He said based on the camera view, it appeared all shelving were picked up. I responded "why would I want to keep Metro shelving with just a top shelf and a bottom shelf". And, when he brought out 3 additional shelves for me to have, I noticed that all five shelves stacked together are totally different in depth than 2 shelves stacked, I brought back the two shelves, so the camera view could prove only 2 were fulfilled. Another point is ship to store orders are labeled just like the labels placed on the only two shelves they fulfilled, this is another possible camera viewing point. Lastly the customer service kept saying "the system" shows all were picked, He kept saying "the system". Well I finally had it and cancelled my order, I was shorted 3 shelves and I DID NOT appreciate the insinuation and attitude from The Container Store man that I was lying or that the "system" said I was lying.
