I took my vehicle (Dark Blue 2013 **** A6) to this shop to replace a timing chain, around August 2023. My car was in the shop for three months, for what should have been a routine repair. I paid $4,527.59 for this repair. As soon as I picked it up, the check engine light was on. There is no reason that the engine that light should have been on. I returned to the shop on Nov. 3, 2023. ***** kept the car for two more months. I again picked up the car early January 2025. As soon as I picked up the car, the check engine light was still on and the car was leaking oil. Again- no reason the engine light should have been on the the car leaking oil. I went back to ***** a third time. He kept the car for three more months and charged me another $400. I picked up the car around May 11, 2025.Guess what? As soon as I picked up the car, the check engine light was still on and the car was leaking oil. I returned to the shop yet again. ***** kept my vehicle for nine weeks, and charged me $500. I picked up the car for the fourth time around July 12th.The check engine light is still on, and the car is still leaking oil, from the timing cover. And now my car has a cracked windshield, and ***** says he doesn't know what happened. The timing cover ******* the timing chain, which is what ***** "fixed" the first time. The timing chain is located at the back of the motor, from the crank-shaft to the can-shaft. It cannot be reached or replaced without removing the engine or transmission. ***** caused damage to my car. I think that he simply clears the engine code and hasn't taken the time to actually take apart the engine/transmission again to actually fix the leak. He's had my car for almost one year. He caused the leak when he improperly replaced the timing chain. He refused to answer my calls or call me back repeatedly.I will not go back to his shop, because he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. I am requesting a refund so I can properly repair the vehicle.
