      Worse financial company *** ever dealt with, nobody speaks English and they will hold your title for weeks even though the vehicle is paid off!!

      This company received my payoff for over 34k on 6/5 and cashed the check but still havent posted it to the account! Beware!! They are also owned by a company from overseas!! No one there is American therefore they have issues with communicating with English!! Never again!! Contacting attorney!! They dont deserve 1 star!!

      Santander is a **** poor company that thrives on people's misfortune. They financed a vehicle I helped my mother to get (with great reservation on my part ) but my mom needed a vehicle desperately hers broke down an her husband was in the hospital for an extended stay with multiple surgeries, heart an other . After he got to come home one night she got into a no fault accident which totaled the vehicle out , I thought luckily with her full coverage and gap insurance the vehicle would be paid off . I got paperwork an emails stating that the vehicle had indeed been paid off by both her primary an gap insurance but unknown to us Santander kept adding interest to the account even after giving figures to insurance, so they received their checks for pay off but then left the account open adding interest daily an never sent a bill of what they want to close the account instead they started reporting late payments to our credit reports which damaged my 100 percent on time payment history an my mom's . Now it's not much money they want to close the account but it's the principal that you have to carry 2 different insurance policies on 1 vehicle to cover your **** these days but now with shady financing companies your still not fully covered . I helped my mom again to replace her vehicle an while getting financing the dealer said Santander would be happy to finance this vehicle too , we told them we would rather ride a bicycle or walk than to have to deal with them again. The old car account is still open an have not resolved the situation

      Zero stars if could. Have paperwork from ****** stating I get a refund of $723.32.. for warranty refund - Perfect. Contact Santander couple of weeks later, the first online chat confirmed that same amount, hen got cut off suddenly. Second online chat within minutes then told me $645 with an overage on top of $48.98. Every single online chat after that kept cutting me off due to no activity - in the middle of a response. Tried calling twice, first time explained same issue, then total silence, then came back said a couple of words then total silence again. Disgusting company. I have the actual paperwork stating the amount and they (Santander) cannot explain why the lower amount - and it takes ***** days after closing the account to issue the refund - how does that makes sense.. Total Thieves - they need to be investigated along with their ridiculously high interest rates. Price Gouging and stealing money..

      Paid my car off, the refund check never came as they also do not refund as a check or electronic back to the account on file. Instead, they send a **** Gift Card. Yes, a **** Gift Card that never arrived and no accountability because once the money is gone, it's gone. Luckily it was only about $20 I overpaid, but this almost doesn't seem legal.

      Worst company I have ever encountered. BEWARE!!!!!!!! Car was damaged by a storm, car insurance sent check to us to send to Santander. That was April 30th they received our check. Here it is 05/28/25 and no check, no tracking number, and have been told countless different reason. My complaint was then turned over to the executive office. Three phone calls and two hours later I have heard more lies, that the Executive Manager ****** tells me what I call lies are really just me experiencing employees who need training. I have been told countless reasons on why my check has not been sent back, he then proceeds to tell me that my signature is not needed for this check that is issued to my husband, Santander, and myself. Says they have processes that allow them to just reissue a check directly to the auto body shop. I would not recommend this company to any one not even my worst enemy

      If I could zero stars, I would!If you are currently a customer of ******************************************** I would advise you to get out.... like yesterday! And, if you're thinking of going with them DO NOT! We got hit at the last of February and our vehicle ended up getting totaled(no one was hurt). Our insurance has paid them and after being on the phone since Thursday for HOURS at a time they are still going with the story that someone in a department that they don't know has cashed the check. Then they tell us that they actually don't have it and... this is the best one.... they know what department but they can't contact them because they don't have a phone! This is a horrible Company and I am trying to get the word out so I can at least help someone else out! Meanwhile, we are having to make payments on a car that is totaled - while somewhere in their building "someone" is benefiting from the check that should have taken care our account. This company is the worst kind of joke!

      I wrecked my truck, which Santander financed. I had full coverage, AND ************** I handled all paperwork required, and in a timely manor. I just found out that GAP only paid 1/2 of the amount due. NOBODY notified me. Only until I saw a late payment on my credit did I find out I had a remaining balance. Santander takes fault in their own words!for not notifying me but not any responsibility so I am now left with a bad **** on my credit for 7 years. I am outraged by this and feel that my rights have been violated
