      Refinanced loan with another company. Overpaid the last payment, and was sent a debit card that would not work. The debit card company ********** was hard to contact, so I had to send an email. So by being a little savy I called the number to activate the card and picked a different option to get an actual person, because I could not use the card. ******** service agent said the card had safety features that would not let me use MY money on the card? How ridiculous is that? I can't use the money I sent to Santander to pay my bill? So I told them to send a refund check to me. So angry about this, because now I have to WAIT yet another week to get MY money! I also don't remember EVER having to make Santander wait a man extra week for the payments I made on time to them...The check should have been issued in the first place! I don't ever remember sending Santander a debit card that didn't work for my car payments... Livid!

      Run or if this company ever comes up when you're trying to buy a car. This is the worst company to deal with. Some of the agents are very rude and any better training with customers. I spoke with a very rude executive assistant ******** who should know better or it has better customer service skills. I wish I knew about this company or before I excepted it up. And I'm in the process of trying to get my car refinance with a better company who treats their customers like human beings. I would advise anyone that's thinking about using ******* run do not pass goal do not accept the terms. You will be very disappointed with your decision.

      Negative stars if possible. Worst finance company ever!! My car got repossessed during the beginning of the pandemic. I paid the fees and retrieved my vehicle. Paid my payments on time for months and it still shows on my credit as a repo. When inquiring with santander I was told my payments needed to be current to report again. (In order to retrieve any vehicle from a repossession it must be current), to this day almost 2 years later they have never reported that the vehicle was in my possession and current on any payments. When I inquired about the pay off amount it was higher than what I bought the car for. What a joke! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

      I would give this company negative stars if possible. My car was totaled less than six months after I purchased it. My insurance company paid off the loan as soon as it was deemed a total loss. I had gap insurance coverage to pay off the remainder. 4 months after everything was paid I checked my credit report and saw that I was behind on my loan. After multiple communications with multiple departments I found out that Santander did not contact and provide the needed documents to the gap insurance holders in time. I had to request an appeal from gap to cover the remaining balance on the car after blue book value was paid by insurance. After everything was paid Santander decided that I had a balance of over $900 for interest payments due on a zero balance . I am no financial wizard or mathematician but I thought interest on $0 is $0. I would rather walk thru fire for 5000 miles before I ever finance anything thru this company

      Worst company ever they scammed us out of an extra 326.00 sent them a check on July 07 2022 on July 21 they said they never received it so I told them I was going to stop payment on the check and overnight one with fedex they told me I needed their physical address on ********** in ********** tx. They received that check the next day as it was signed for. But the 1st check was passing thru his bank acct the same day so they did have the check they were just holding on to it for the interest accrues daily. I finally gave them their way and overnighted anther check for 326.00. They got help from ** ******* Hyundai of ******** mo to get interest on gap insurance and an extended warranty he never ordered. So they got a whopping 13.00 a day for interest what a joke

      I have been asking Santander for assistance since may due to a financial hardship that will be resolved late August. I kept them updated calling about every 2 weeks and I always asked for assistance. I was denied EVERY time I requested help. Up till the hardship I always made my car payments on time. Santander does not care about helping their customers. Now in 60 days past due and they told me today that if I made a payment they MIGHT be about to help me. If I could make a payment I wouldn't need help. They DO NOT CARE. even if you do and you keep them updated. So sorry I took the loan from them to get my car.

      Company took an additional payment that wasn't supposed to be sent in addition to my payoff for the vehicle this additional payment overdrew my bank account and is refusing to send me a refund for 30 days

      If I can give a zero I would. I did a payment with a check and it came back. I paid it again. They send an email and don't say anything about running payment again. So therefore 2 payments came out and I called them. They tell me to fax in proof. I faxed in proof 4 times and they was saying they didn't get it. Keep in mind it was on the 2nd and today the 8th the rep told me they didn't receive them. Then said they did. I asked for a supervisor and he didn't want to transfer me. I hung up and called back and talked to a supervisor. She said they received the docs but I need to show my bank account is in the negative. What my bank account has to do with being in the negative if they took two payments out my account and they have proof. My other money and my bank outside of the payment has nothing to do with Santander and is not they business. I don't recommend this company to anyone. I will definitely be refinancing this car as soon as these clowns give me my money. I should have believed the reviews instead of giving the benefit of a doubt. Horrible company and horrible reps

      Worst financial company I've ever dealt with. They are rude , unprofessional, they harass you and are disrespectful. If I would have known that this was the kind of company that I would be dealing with I would have never signed the contract. They treat you like you are nothing.

      This company scams is customers and does that place any money towards their accounts to pay down the loan for their cars they actively gas like you doing phone calls and verbally attack you when you come up with facts on where they messed up when you keep asking for information they give you the runaround also when you provide information that they ask you for they always find a reason to say they don't have it can't find it never received it or it needs to be formatted differently
