Bergdorf Goodman placed shoes on their website for sale at $337. I placed an order for the shoes, the store confirmed the price and the order with an email and send me a confirmation number. I paid immediately upon placing the order. Then, the store shipped the shoes to me through FexEd. I had a shipping tracking number. After a week, the order was due to be delivered on 11/2. It was in route, and Bergdorf Goodman sent me a confirmation email that my order would arrive soon. After my shoes were almost to my house on the same day, Bergdorf Goodman intercepted the carrier by changing my address and made ***** then turn around and bring the shoes back to the ***** warehouse so I could not get them. I called Bergdorf Goodman and they told me that this was a mistake to sell me the shoes and that they could not sell the shoe at the price they sold them to me at. My interpretation from the conversation was that they have a contract with the shoe manufacturer. While I understand that is the case, this does not give them the right to return my shoes after they already formed a valid contract for an agreed upon price with me. In my opinion, they are harming customers by doing this with an unfair advantage. After I told them this, they offered me money on a gift card for the inconvenience.Neiman Marcus Company

Ms. ** placed an order on our website during our NMJUNE gift card event. Our records indicate that the promotion code NMJUNE was not entered when the order was placed. Due to the missing code, no gift card was sent and Ms. ** contacted ** to find out why. Upon her inquiry, the gift card was processed. The gift card amount was reduced because a portion of the purchase was for items from a vendor that does not participate in our gift card promotions. Our promotion details state, "Select designers excluded." We have sent a gift to the customer in apology for her disappointment.

Dior at Neiman Marcus refuses to accept back a new item because they think its used. The gift received was purchased a few days before the return with it's original condition. A person pretending to be the Dior stir manager refused to provide GM contact info and **************** contact info. He called security because I said I will *** them. No Freedom of speech anymore. I need them to review the item again and refund ASAP before it hits to US courts.Neiman Marcus Company

I'm extremely concerned about their offshore customer service. I know they're trying to cut costs, but I think they've cheaped out too much. I got a gift from a friend who purchased an item on **.com. I tried to return it to the store, but they told me I had to get a return slip online. This is fine since it's what it said on the website as well. I called customer service and they issued me a ***** return label, which I asked if I could use that to exchange it in the store. The customer rep. said he wasn't sure and that this was all they could issue - a ***** label. I had told him from the very beginning that I wanted to exchange this gift in the store and not send it via *****. Then the customer rep. told me that he was "frustrated" because I pointed out the fact that I had to get a return slip to return in-store per the ** website, which they were clearly not aware of. Then I got transferred to his supervisor, who had the wrong order number the entire time he was talking to me. After that, he offered to refund the entire amount as credit and told me to keep the item. Again, this is a gift, so I didn't want my friend to receive a refund for a gift. I know ** is trying to cut costs, but cheaper customer service doesn't resolve the problem. It makes them look cheap.Neiman Marcus Company

For a gift recipient to make a return, a return slip can be generated online using the order number then, taken to the store along with the merchandise where a merchandise credit gift card will be issued to the recipient for the price of the merchandise. The gift card can be used to make a purchase in the store or online.
Please be assured that we have followed up on the level of service concerns with the managers of those associates involved; we know they will address these concerns appropriately.

Neiman Marcus has the worst customer service!!!!!!I placed an order and two hours later they reduce the price of the purse by $153.They wouldnt let me cancel the order because it was being processed and yet 3 days later it still hasnt shipped!!!Neiman Marcus is a ********************** representatives are clueless and do not speak or understand English clearly.Dont waste your time shopping at Neimans!!Nordstrom and Saks are much better.Neiman Marcus Company

Im extremely concerned about the unprofessional customer service that ********************** provides. Ive had great experience in stores so I started making more purchase at Neiman. This summer during promotional gift card event, I placed an order with a personal discount code, which was sent to me after Neiman cancelled my order due to an inventory shortage as an apology. When I made my purchase, I was able to apply both codes, and the website shows that my order was qualified for a $250 gift card. However, 10 weeks later, I never received the gift card. I contacted the customer service on Saturday, and the rep told me that my order was qualified for the gift card and I should contact the gift card department. I raised my concern regarding the additional personal discount code, and she told me she COULD SEE that my order was qualified for a gift card, and that shouldnt be a problem. I called the gift card department today, and I was told that my order did not qualify for a gift card because of the personal discount code. I explained to her that the customer service person told me that she could see that my order was qualified for a 250$ GC. Then, the gift card rep said ** sorry, I dont know why the customer service would give you wrong information. It was ridiculous. I reached out to the customer service again, and I gave the context to the new rep. ** first the new rep told me the exact same thing- they could see that my order was qualified for a GC, even with the discount code applied. Later on they told me the opposite. This is extremely confusing and unprofessional: **************** reps did not even know their own policy, provided customers contradicting answers, and did not admit their own mistakes. Im beyond appalled that luxury retail customers are treated so poorly and with inconsistent information. No wonder why Neiman is losing customers to its competitors.Neiman Marcus Company

Below zero. I purchased an Blue Bonnet iphone case for $80 but when I received it, I saw an invoice showing the price of $40.00 I also purchased a ***************** necklace with 1 carat ***** When I received it , it looks so small. I returned it in person and the sales lady says it looks like .5 carat.How can I trust Neiman Marcus again after this experience?Customer Service is very poor. Neiman Marcus sells high end brands. You would think that a delivery to the wrong address will ****** attention from them. I have filed at least 4 claims but only the first claim got a response. They denied my first claim for a replacement. Filed the other 3 for refund. CRICKETS FROM NM! They do not give you claim numbers so you have to wait and see if they reply. I filed a claim with ***** since 3 weeks had passed, no sign of where it was delivered by ***** (all i have is a picture of the package sitting at whoevers door, does not even look anything like my or any of my neighbors doors). ***** denied my claim since i am not the shipper. Got a claim sent to the credit card i used now. At least i receive updates from the credit card company.After my experience with NMs customer service, i am not buying anything from them anymore! Zero stars for Neiman Marcus customer service, especially NorthPark ********************** store. I have placed Fine Jewelry order online, received the email confirmation and next day received another email stated that my order will be fulfilled by NorthPark Neiman store, the store will call me to confirm the order and get authorization to charge the full payment. I havent received any phone call for more than a week, check back the order status online which shows Canceled and my bank havent charged the full payment. Thought, it was Cancelled by itself and again no one called to communication. After 8 days, I received the email for the receipt that i made purchase 8 days ago, full charged on my bank without telling me and the receipt not included tracking#. I called NorthPark store, no one know where my order and they keep transferring my call to other departments and the lady did pickup the phone and hanging up without assistance. Then i called again and the operator gave me the phone number to the guys handling shipments and i called him, my call went directly to voice message. Very frustrating and horrible customer service at the NorthPark store. Its violated when someone charged the credit card without having the authorization, the charges is not small amount, its more than $2000. I placed an order for an "instock" item on July 28, 2023. My son also placed the same order within 5 minutes of my order. His was delivered within 3-4 days. Mine kept saying "in process" which I couldn't understand. After 2 weeks I contacted customer service to find out what was going on. I kept getting told it would be shipping out within a few days. Here I am today...Aug 20,2023 and I receive a cancellation notice that the item is no longer available!!?? Somehow, my order got pushed to the side and customer service was absolutely useless in trying to find out anything!! Also, my last two orders came damaged and terribly packaged!!! Needless to say....There service and products are way below par for a company that charges so much!!!! My advice... Do not use this company!!!Neiman Marcus Company
