I have been trying to cancel my subscription with All You Can Books. There is no link or support on the website and when I call the customer service number, the automated message redirects to visit the online page and no option to leave a message. I signed up for a free trial and had to provide credit card information. I have seen hundreds of people complain about scamming and not being able to cancel the trial through the site. I was not able to access the app until I gave them my cc information. Once I was able to access the app I decided that I did it want to pay for it. It is not user friendly at all. So I wanted to cancel the free trial. There is no way to do that. When you try and call their number ************** it directs you to the website. I would like to cancel my free trial but do not know how to do it. I do not want my credit card charged in 30 days.Business Response

I just signed up tonight for the free trial and then once I looked at the book list, I immediately knew that this was not me and I tried to cancel. There is no way to cancel through the website! There is no link to cancel and the phone numberthat is listed just goes to a recording of a woman who says go to the website to cancel and then hangs up on you. I googled it online and saw many people saying that this site is a scam. I'm afraid that I have gotten scammed also because there's no way to reach them and no way to remove my credit card now. I want my account canceled and my credit card never charged! I couldn't even log into the account again because the page that goes to I forgot my password (when you click the link for it to email you) does not actually go to a password reset page, it just goes to the main site! I would like to express my serious concerns regarding this companys business practices. In my experience, their terms of service and communication methods are confusing and seem designed to disadvantage customers financially. My interactions with the company, from start to finish, have been extremely disappointing. I am sharing my experience to help others avoid similar issues, as I am not the only customer who has encountered these problems.I have felt manipulated and dismissed by company representatives, which I find unacceptable. At this time, I do not wish to engage in further communication with the company unless they are prepared to take responsibility for their actions and address my concerns directly.I strongly urge the company to improve transparency and provide better self-service options for customers to resolve issues independently.Business Response

Customer emailed us on our contact form on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 10:09pm CST asking how to cancel account. The email provided did not match any email in our system so we immediately sent an email asking for more information to locate the account. Customer replied to that email on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 11:37am - after the 30-day trial ended on May 12 - with the email on file and asking to cancel. Customer was sent instructions and they canceled later that day on 05/14/2025 10:17:14 PM. Account is now closed and there will be no further charges. Customer downloaded *********************** so far during their membership and can continue to download until the end of the paid period.Initial Complaint

I signed up for the free trial and now I am trying to cancel my subscription but when I try to open the app in ****** to unsubscribe it takes me to a page thats unavailable. I tried looking at several different ways to unsubscribe with no luck at finding any link to them at all. All Im trying to do is unsubscribe before they charge me after my free trial because I am not interested in keeping this app because of all the bad reviews Ive looked at so far. I signed up for a free trial for All You Can Books 4/3/25. After going through their catalog and not finding a single book I tried to cancel. I received an email back with yet another link to follow. I followed the link and after recieving several errors, it went through and I received a confirmation on the web page. On 5/7/25 I was going through my online banking and saw a charge for All You Can Books in the amount of $24.99 on 5/5/25. I immediately contacted them requesting a refund and for them to cancel my account since it obviously wasn't canceled when I went through the process in April. After emailing back and forth repeatedly for the last few days, I was told that my account was canceled but I would not receive a refund as I still had access to their catalog. Again, I requested a refund. There are zero books in their catalog that I am interested in. I have not downloaded a single one, nor will I. Their books are out of date and can be found for free on multiple other platforms. As an avid reader and a mother to avid readers it is so disappointing for companys like this to waste so much time and money. Selling out of date books to "check out" for As much as they do should be considered fraud as is.I want my money refunded. I'm done playing tag with your automated emails.Business Response

Customer confirms they signed up and did not cancel the membership during the trial. Customer was sent instructions how to cancel but did not cancel. Customer checked the box that they read and agreed to the terms which state there are no refunds after trial ends and new full month membership is charged. Therefore we cannot refund the membership charge. Customer did cancel the account so there will be no further charges and customer can continue to use the service until end of prepaid term.

I am rejecting this response because: I followed the link and after recieving several errors, it went through and I received a confirmation on the web page. You did not read my message. I DID cancel. The confirmation went through on the webpage. Your lack of proper customer service in even reading response shows the incompetence of your company. I want my money refunded.Business Response

Customer emailed on May 7 that "I was charged 5/5 after trying to cancel. I got the free trial and tried to cancel but it obviously didn't work." We do not see any attempts to cancel in our logs. If there was an issue with cancellation customer did not report it. Customer states they received a cancel confirmation on the website but we have no such in our records and customer cannot provide a screenshot of the page. Customer would have also received a confirmation email like they did when they canceled on May 9. The account is now closed and the good news is the customer can continue to use the unlimited service until the end of the paid period.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a free trial and they charged me the remaining balance on my credit card. Only $1.06, which is why I used that credit card, in case of an issue with this unknown business. There is no where to cancel the membership on the website. I emailed them and haven't heard back. When you try to click on FAQs, help, or contact us the site stops working. I signed up for 30 day free trial on 02/23/2025, I then sent an email to company email address ***************************** requesting to cancel membership effective 02/24/2025. I have yet to receive any correspondence response on this matter. I have sent follow up emails 03/02/2025 and 03/17/2025 since automatic response says they will reply within 24 hours and gives directions to cancel membership on their website but this option is not available to customers. I feel the business lacks customer service in response times. I would like any financial information deleted, not stored and membership cancelled.Business Response

02.09.25 I signed up for a free 30 day trial and downloaded the app. I then went back to try and search for the audiobook I wanted and the app was down and the website just leads to a 'site cannot be reached' status. I then went back to check reviews and can see that this company is scamming people and not allowing cancelling subscriptions. I have alerted my bank to the fraud and will be reporting further if my subscription is not immediately cancelled.Business Response
