I have landscape lighting by FX. Dallas Landscape Lighting is listed as a certified reseller for this brand. I had three service calls over the past 6 months. When I called, I was not informed of the pricing. I was just told someone would be out to fix the issue and the workers told me I would be invoiced afterwards. First time was to repair a chewed wire ($250). Second time was to replace 2 LED boards ($250). I was charged $500 for BOTH service calls. Third service call was to replace 2 different LED boards and my invoice was $500. I called to ask why it was double what they charged me previously and was told he was trying to give me a break on the first invoice by only charging me the service fee of $250 plus the fee for the two LED boards. He said their service call is $250 and the boards are $125 each. Seriously? Licensed professional plumbers and master electricians don't even have a $250 service fee. On the third service call the guys were literally at my house for 10 minutes **** $500 to replace 2 LED boards that cost $25 each (the previous receptionist told me what they cost). I understand marking up but this is outrageous. Although my bill was reduced in half (which was completely reasonable), he told me not to use them anymore. I guess if you don't allow them to completely take advantage of you they don't want your business. If you are a homeowner with an interest in landscape lighting or repair to existing lighting, stay clear of this company.
