This company as noted by many others previously is a scam. I contacted them within minutes of a purchase and was given no help. I would like to be contacted so this can be resolved. They are a scam and should not be allowed to operate and conduct business.

Date of Transaction: Nov. 4, 2022
      Amount: 1,131.88 CAD
I purchased 2 tickets for a concert. I did not realize that I was not on the website of a genuine ticket seller; the website was well disguised and I wasn't aware of ticket resellers' methods to trick consumers and offer no avenues to cancel transactions. The $ amount featured prominently on the screen was the price of a single ticket not in CAD, which I (in my excitement thinking I was purchasing genuine concert tickets from the original seller) erroneously thought was the total CAD amount, thanks to the misleading layout of the website (nowhere did it show the total-just the price of one ticket "x 2"). When I realized that I had been charged 1131.88 when I looked at my bank statement, I immediately contacted TicketSales.com customer service by phone but was told they will not make any exceptions to their no refund policy. I was refused when I asked to speak to someone else in customer service so I could explain my situation related to the way they present information as well as accessibility-related barriers. Their strict no refunds policy along with their misleading practices of disguising their website and the total amount owing take advantage of people, especially those who may deal with accessibility-related barriers to reading comprehension. The fact that they refused to refer me on to someone to work with me to identify a resolution is bad business practice that takes advantage of consumers and gives them no recourse to dispute the charges. I understand they stated "no refunds" policy, but my issue is not buyer's remorse; I truly did not know this wasn't an original ticket seller.

I want a full refund based on deceptive business practices such as their SEO and web design that strategically cloaks essential information for consumers to make an informed purchasing decision and a lack of willingness to discuss a refund when accessibility barriers are at play.

I wanted to purchase tickets for a upcoming concert. I Ticketsales.com was the first site that came up with available tickets. I selected 2 seats and the price displayed was just shy of 200, when i went to pay it said total due 379 .... i realized ok the price displayed was for 1 seat. Reluctantly i decided to pay. I then checked my Credti Card statement and found the 397.00 charged was USD not CAD !! Now iv been Charged 546.97. I immediately called the company and was informed NO Refunds even though i had just placed the order.

No where on the order did i find the funds to be charged where USD!

I would like a full refund as i fell very misled.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At TicketSales.com, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers concerns. It should be noted that TicketSales.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.

Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, ****** ***** , they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, We are a leading resale marketplace. Tickets may be above or below face value. We are not affiliated with any venue. This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. After customers select the ticket listing and ticket quantity, they desired they are directed to the checkout page. Here customers are provided with an order summary on the right-hand side that displays the event details, ticket location, and listing information. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method was selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total was calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customers order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $****** was displayed in bold text on the right-hand side of the page. This information is fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary is a disclosure stating: Please note: We are a secondary marketplace, not the primary seller. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Finally, at the bottom of the checkout screen the customer was shown our terms stating, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged ******, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final." Our customer then used the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase, at which time their order was processed. It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred to the email address they provided during checkout on 10/25/22 at 12:45 PM CST. ?

Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; nevertheless, our customer's event took place on 11/17/22 and in the interest of customer service we have issued a refund of their service fees to resolve this matter. ?At this time, we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has further questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team for assistance. ?

I made the mistake of purchasing tickets for The Nutcracker on this website. They are deceiving in their marketing leading you to believe you are purchasing from the venue. The tickets are almost double the price in addition to a $35 fee for each ticket. I ended up paying $630 for four tickets. I realized my mistake the moment I clicked to purchase and I called them within the minute. The email confirmation states to contact them immediately if there are issues. During the call I received a script stating their refund policy and telling me my only option is to resell. When I got off the phone I noticed that the time of the event on their confirmation did not march the venue's time. I called again worried about the legitimacy of the order. I received the same script and was told that if the time was different it would eventually be fixed. This company is extremely shady, and I think this is well documented here on the BBB. I am kindly asking for a timely refund before I take this complaint further.

My husband purchased tickets for An Evening with ************ scheduled for October 18th but it was cancelled and rescheduled for November 29th. He purchased the tickets through ticket sales thinking that they were involved with the *******************. I called ticket sales and they do not reimburse but told me it is up to us to resell the tickets. We cannot attend the concert on the 29th. I found out the Bing uses tickets west which my husband thought he was using. It seems like an unfair practice to not reimburse the tickets when it wasn't our fault it was cancelled. I have to admit that sites on the computer can be very deceiving to those of us who aren't tech savvy. A lesson learned but an expensive one. It is hoped you could help or at least help others not get the same treatment. I received emails from *******************************************

The issue occurred on 10/17/2022. A charge appears on my credit card from ticketsales.com, affiliated with ticket fulfillment services, LP. This charge is fraudulent. I called AmEx, and they said they'd be happy to take care of it for me once it clears but until then, I can try to get them to cancel the fraudulent charge. The only way to contact is by chat, which turned into a never-ending loop. This company is committing fraud. They need to be audited and investigated. Order ********.

This is a complaint against vendor TicketSales.com in light of the ongoing dispute in the amount of $531.24 from 26 August 2022. This Vendor falsely represented itself in its marketing as an official venue ticket seller. We contacted the Vendor prior to purchasing tickets to validate they were associated with the venue, which was confirmed to us by phone. The dollar value of tickets that was charged to the card was not what was agreed, and it was not adequately disclosed to us as "customers" that the transaction was "non-refundable" (which we have since discovered that refunds are given by this Vendor in certain circumstances, so they are capable). We were alerted to the cost issue by the text alert Citi offers to its cardholders, such that we did not recognize or authorize the $531.24. Immediately upon noticing this, we contacted this Vendor again (same day as order, weeks in advance of the event which was held in Sunrise, FL on 11 September 2022). They told us there was "nothing they could do" & we should "take the matter up with our credit card company" despite a proactive attempt to resolve matter with the Vendor directly.
BBB will note a few things here:
      1. E-mail came referencing seller "************" was not recognized
o We did not, at any time, "accept tickets" to place tickets into our Ticket Folio or take possession of tickets in question at any time.
o BBB will also note the language on Vendor website that says, in instances of fraud, "...they may be cancelled at any time..." This wholly refutes the Vendor's claim that all orders are Non-Cancellable, Non-Refundable, etc. given this direct disclaimer.
      2. We have photographic evidence that the Vendor in question (because we didn't "accept" tickets in question) sold the tickets to another customer; the seats in question were occupied, meaning the Vendor associated with this dispute (TicketSales.com) is trying to "double-dip" here! This is FINANCIAL FRAUD.
      3. We bought seats from TicketMaster ($314.96)

On 8/26/22 I purchased 2 tickets totalling $316.55, for the 12/2/22 performance of "***** *******" on 1 2/2/22. When I received the tickets I saw that the price of each was $67.50. That's a difference of $181.55 for two tix! Further, I was assigned seats that were in the * row of the Orchestra section (rows are A through T, where A is nearest to the stage). I was really upset, so I called the company and spoke to "********" who told me that their disclaimer at the time of purchase, indicated that the cost of the tickets could be higher or lower than the amount paid. But, $181.55 for two tickets'! That's ridiculous! That means the company could charge someone $500, $1000, etc. then, send out tickets at a fraction of that cost! I saw no reason to argue with the phone operator, so I told him that I would contact the *** for results.

It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred to the email address they provided during checkout on 10/6/22 at 6:00 PM CST. We would like to note that the tickets were downloaded by our customer multiple times prior to their event. As a secondary ticket marketplace, Ticket Sales is not affiliated with the artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. Our role is to act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Because our customers are purchasing tickets listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that while we secure the delivery and validity of tickets, we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; nevertheless, our customer's event took place on 12/2/22 and in the interest of customer service we have issued a refund of their service fees to resolve this matter. At this time, we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has further questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team for assistance.

On September 28th, 2022, I purchased tickets to the ****** ***** concert at ***************** for Thursday, October 6th. The day before the concert, I received an email the concert was postponed by the singer as she was sick. On Saturday October 8th, I received an email the concert was rescheduled to Saturday, November 5th. Neither me nor my daughter will be back in ******* (we live in ********) for the concert and are unable to attend the rescheduled event. I was told by the representative, ***, today, October 10th, the tickets are non-refundable and my only recourse is to sell them myself. None of the receipts or emails regarding ticketing mention anything about the tickets being non-refundable. In good faith I paid $379.02 for these two tickets, I am not able to attend their rescheduled concert because of my location, so I need a refund. Thank you so much for any assistance you can offer.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Ticket Sales, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers concerns. It should be noted that Ticket Sales is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.

Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, ****** *****, they navigated to the ticket listing page. On this page, the ticket listings displayed the ticket price and allowed the customer to choose a ticket quantity. After the customer selected their listing, they were directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided a detailed order summary which shows the event information, ticket location, and price per ticket. Below this order summary, there is a disclosure indicating: We are a leading secondary marketplace. Tickets may be above or below face value. We are not affiliated with any venue. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and was shown the ticket delivery method. Please note that a complete itemized breakdown of our customers order total was fully disclosed after selecting the available delivery method and before the customer was asked to enter any payment information. Finally, at the bottom of the checkout screen the customer was shown our terms stating, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $379.02, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final. Our customer then used the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase, at which time their order was processed.

It should be noted, customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, and the original tickets are valid for entry at the time of the rescheduled event, our customers order will not qualify for compensation. Furthermore, tickets for our customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address they provided during checkout on 9/28/22 at 6:04 PM CST. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; nevertheless, our customer's event took place on 11/5/22 and in the interest of customer service we have issued a refund of their service fees to resolve this matter. I ordered tickets to ********* on April 12, 2022, 4 tickets center section main floor costing ******** for October 30, 2022 at **************, **************. Seats ordered were preferred for visual effect of the performance. I was notified on 9/29/2022 that the seats ordered were not available but that alternative seating in a much less desirable location were available and would be provided along with a $600 refund. I responded to an advertisement thinking that I would get what I wanted only to find out that Ticket Sales is a 3d party seller. They had my money from April 12, 2022 and only notified me on October 29, 2022 of the problem. To me, they are deceptive and not to be trusted for ticket orders.

This means that tickets purchased on our site are subject to change and that TicketSales.com does not control the inventory available for any event. Had our customer been dissatisfied with the available replacements or resolution offered, they were also provided the option to cancel their order for a full refund. Please note that since our customer opted to accept the replacement tickets with a partial refund of $600.00, their order was then fulfilled in accordance with both our 100% Buyer Guarantee. As it stands, our customer's order does not qualify for compensation and if our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.
