    We were using this platform for homeschooling in ********************** the 8th grade. The platform only has curriculum through the 8th grade. I called in May of 2023 to cancel after June (end of the school year) because we would need ti start a different curriculum for high school. I noticed today (Feb 2025) that the company has continued to bill me monthly. I called to get a refund for the charges starting June 2023 until now and was repeatedly told, we are a subscription based service, we do not monitor student activity and that I could, speak to a supervisor but they are going to tell me the same thing. The girl offered to stop the subscription but refused any compensation for any if the charges and said that I couldnt get a refund for anything because I would still have access to the reports through the remainder of the billing cycle. I told her that the reports were almost two years old and I had no use for them and she once again stated that they were a subscription service and did not monitor student activity.

    Hello,

    We show three records of Support contact with this subscriber: 9/22/22 via phone for assistance with a link within an activity in the curriculum, another on 12/22/22 via email regarding an error code they were receiving when working within the curriculum, and finally on 2/24/25 regarding the cancelation of the account and refunds. There are no records of contact with this subscriber from May of 2023. 

    As our Support agents advised, Time4Learning is a subscription based software service that provides parents and students access to curriculum for homeschooling. We provide new members a 14 day Money Back Guarantee at the onset of their membership to determine if the program is a good fit for their student; outside of that period, T4L does not provide refunds, as we lease components of the curriculum from an outside vendor and incur costs to the business.

    Per Time4Learning's Terms of Use, which is agreed to by each member at sign-up and upon using the website, membership renews each term (monthly or annually). Users may cancel their membership at any time through the Parent Dashboard or by contacting Support via email or phone. Cancelations are processed immediately following account verification, and an email confirmation is sent to the subscriber within 48 business hours.

    If the subscriber has a cancelation confirmation email from the date they claim to have canceled the account, we would be happy to review it, however, it appears this subscriber has disputed these charges through their credit card company. Due to this dispute now being mediated by the credit card vendor, there is no direct path to resolution available between Time4Learning and this subscriber through the BBB.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I spoke to someone in May of 2023 to end the subscription, I do not have access to the email account used for the subscription and I dont think I would keep a confirmation of cancellation in my email, especially not for nearly two years. If we cannot find a resolution then Ill attempt to get help through the Maryland States attorney general.

    Hello,

    We have provided all of our records of contact with this subscriber, as well as the detailed reasons for each contact in our previous reply - there is no record of a conversation with the subscriber from May of 2023. All of our incoming & outgoing contacts are captured through *********** so had the conversation in May of *************************************** those records. Further, the customer did not contact us in June of 2023 after the subscription billing continued, nor any month after that, to resolve. Our only contact with this subscriber following the two interactions outlined in our previous response on 9/22/22 and 12/22/22 was on 2/24/25 to discuss this matter and request refunds for over 20 months of subscription fees.

    To reiterate, the subscriber has disputed these charges through their credit card vendor. Due to this dispute now being mediated through that avenue, there is no direct path to resolution available between Time4Learning and this subscriber through the BBB.
