1 starI received a call from Data Search (a collection agency used by Tenet Health's ********************** for *******, **********, and **********). The **************************** Representative stated I owed $224.72 for a bill from Turlock Imaging which was now in collections. I asked the *** the date of the procedure and was told April 2024. I asked when statements were mailed to me. The *** gave me the procedure date but could not tell me the date the most recent statement was mailed to me. I stopped by *************** and was given ***************************** (Revenue Cycle Director), business card and encouraged to call this office for assistance & to make a payment. An employee in ********** answered and said she could assist me. She verified Data Search was their collections agency, but could not verify when statements were mailed to me from Data Search. I told her Data Search could not give me the dates the statements were mailed either. She was rude and told me "I can't see the dates because I can't access their data bank, but I know the statements were mailed". I repeated that Data Search verified the procedure date, but not dates statements were mailed to me. She then continued to tell me several times that she knew that they mailed statements because she called Data Search to verify 3 statement dates for another lady. That had nothing to do with me! She interrupted me several times and was rude. I verified my address since ********************************************************************* I told her bottom line is I'm trying to make a payment even though no one can give me the statement dates. She finally said she could help me, but proceeded to hum while accessing the screen to take my payment. The new amount she gave me was $235.75. More than the amount I received from Data Search 1 hour prior to my call to her. This company is not ethical & has poor customer service.Review fromHarold M

1 starBeware of **************************** in ******************************** center!! I visited the Emergency room and have fully paid my medical bills. You get billed by both ******************************** Center and Paragon for physician services. Now Paragon is billing me for the out-of-network charge of $2,275.19, after their bill has already been paid at the in network rate by my insurance. I have tried numerous times to contact Paragon, without success. Now my bill has been sent to collections. I'm sure some of us older folks might mistakenly pay a bill like this, if they don't check their insurance Explanation of Benefits statements closely. I researched the *********** *************** ratings and found that they have an F rating with complaints galore and are not an accredited business. ******************************** Center is doing a disservice to its reputation and clients by being associated with *******.Review fromAYENDE A

1 starPiedmont Hospitals lack of Competence, Communication, and Compassion just cost my mother her life My 70 year old mother just passed away yesterday. If it weren't for her horrific stay at ******** Hospital in ********* she would undoubtedly be alive today. She was full of life and wanted to live; however, after 3 weeks of horrific care while at ******** she decided that death was a better option than being forced to endure the horrific treatment she was receiving at ******** any longer. She was pushed into giving up and choosing to end all treatments and die because in her desperation, after being denied a transfer out of those hellish conditions, she said it was preferable to give up and die than to endure more endless days being tortured by excruciating pain and lack of caring she knew would continue if she chose to continue to fight for life under the incompetent and callous care that Piedmont delivers. During her stay we raised our concerns over and over to nurses, doctors (when we could actually get a hold of one), Floor supervisors, and anyone else who would listen, but our concerns were only ever given lip service, but never rectified and her care never *********** when she had finally had enough and it was clear that short of causing her greater pain and endangering her life by discharging her Against Medical Advice (AMA) she felt faced with an impossible choice. Her choice was to continue under the disgustingly poor care of Piemont or death, and she chose to death! She passed away after choosing to end the treatments that were keeping her alive, and I believe that Piedmont is responsible for her death. I am telling her story because she asked me to let the world know how she was treated and in hopes that her death can be a catalyst for change for the other patients and families who are going through or will go though the impossible task of trying to survive the broken and dangerous hospital system that is Piedmont!Review fromPatrick H

1 starBe aware of their unethical hiring practices: Im writing to hopefully alert others of this hospital recruitment process unethical and unprofessional hiring practices. My experience with this recruiter was the truly horrible, I was misled and strung along for weeks for a position that had already been filled, I originally applied for a dayshift position that had been advertised and represented as a dayshift only position. After completing interviews and making significant decisions based on the information provided, I discovered that the position offered did not match the original description. This bait-and-switch tactic is not only unprofessional but deeply unethical. Such conduct can have serious repercussions on individuals livelihoods, wasting their time and causing unnecessary financial and emotional stress. It is concerning to think how many other candidates may have been similarly misled by this agencys dishonest practices. This behavior reflects a lack of integrity and a disregard for the well-being and livelihood of nurses and other health professionals.Review fromThom C

1 starThis number called me twice within 2 hours, at what was midnight and 1 am my local. Time. Only VMs left were 33 and 75 second empty silent messages. The day before Thanksgiving even. Lucky my ringer was off - I had undergone major surgery only 18 hours prior. How disruptive!! I have no unpaid nor outstanding debts.Phishing/scamming assumed. ***!Review fromMichael N

1 starI was picked up by allied health care and taken to Doctors Behavioral Health Center in *******, CA against my own will and choice.I was getting an xray then they took me against my own will to DBHC for no reason.I was held there for 5 days against my own free will then they released me after I read rule #6 as part of their code of conduct. They tried to give me meds when I don't take medication. They held me down and injected me with medication that I didn't want to take. The common room was at 70 degrees meaning that the rooms might have been at 65 degrees.I was given paper clothes, and paper thin bed sheets, no shoes, and thin socks on hard flooring. The windows were so oxidized I was unable to see outside. They only let us outside for 30 minutes a day and that's it.I was loosing coordination from the cold and *************************.The nurses there were playing head games with the me and other residents. The TV was hacked when I was in there with subliminal messaging in movies and tv shows to play head games with residents. There is no lobby or waiting room. Just a bed in the middle of the room isolated, with cold air, thin sheets, paper clothes. It doesn't have to have to be like a surgery room.Solution:No more forced check ins. Make it so nice it's a privilege to check in. Turn the front into a waiting room to make it welcoming for anyone that would like to check in.Sweat pants and sweat shirts. Thick socks. *** ****** reusable shoes like jail. Fleece blankets. Raise the thermostat so it's not freezing at night and can't sleep. No more forced medication as they hold people down. Call IC3 or file a Internet crimes complaint center. Run the tv off a dvd player without blue tooth with legit movies so it can't be hacked in the future. Hire a window cleaner or a window company to deoxidize the windows. Create a treatment plan the first day so people aren't held against their own will.Review fromHolly H

1 starWe decided to give birth to our first ***** at this hospital because we heard good things about "the nest" maternity wing. We were misinformed. We had a horrible experience with multiple nurses, had a 20 plus hour labor only to then be led into a csection (that we could have just done from the beginning), and many other issues that I have contacted administration about with NO response whatsoever. We have made multiple calls, and this hospital is just covering its own a** by not responding to us and pretending that none of it *********** was one of the absolute worst experiences of my life because of the hospital staff and I legitimately have PTSD.We were first time parents and already scared and no one cared. In fact they were all giggling about their weekend plans during my csection while my husband and I were panicking that the baby wasn't going to make it.I am truly traumatized and what's worse is no one cares. Please for your own sake, give birth somewhere with some compassion.I never want to step foot in that place againReview fromLinda F

1 starI arrived at Dr ********************** By Ambulance on 6/8/24 with chest pains and irregular *** I was on the ambulance ****** and was monitored by AMR ***s. I laid there for hours without any care from Dr ********************** staff. I finally decided to go home because the *** were the only ones helping me. I told the *** I wanted to go home somebody from Dr had me sign a form . I got my daughter to **me pick me up. The *** helped me to get outside and made sure I was in safe area. I got the bill which was around $1600 my ins paid their share and my ** pay is $75. I called and requested itemized bill. Finally I got it with no services or care listed so I went to the ********************** and requested services and care given. It is unfair to my insurance ** and myself to be billed approx $1600 for laying on ***************** in hallway. How many times has this happened? Thank you. ***********************
