      We just went swimming to the public swimming pool in **********, *******, ***. I had forgotten about the transaction and I saw this $26 charge from The Active Network this morning. My family reminded me about the $26 for the pool so the transaction was fine for me.It seems they are used as a general clearinghouse for certain government locations.

      I don't know what has happened but this organization is now HORRIBLE! I cannot get ANY customer service. I needed to re-schedule a camp registration and have spent 3 days trying to get through to an agent, to no avail. I have tried: calling them, allowing them to call me back, chat, and email. NO RESPONSE to any of the supposed contact methods. Now it is too late to late to change my reservation without a significant cost. It is a sad day that you cannot book a camping trip in a state campground without expecting to lose all your money if you need to tweak the reservation.

      This company should be shut down. They were able to acquire my credit information without my consent and charge me. No customer service, this shouldn't be legal!

      These ppl have been taking money off of my card since 2022 and I just noticed it today. There's no way to talk to anyone because they don't answer. I honestly don't know how they got my card information, but I've contacted my bank and they're investigating it.

      SCAM! Buyer be ware there is a snake in the grass. They are tagging onto events, tickets, in my case I think it was Tough Mudder. Tough Mudder take notes, no more as long as you are associated with this company. Thank goodness the bank caught and stopped the $99 fee. **************** number says send an E-mail. No doubt they have time to answer the phone with the number of complaints.

      Signed for a 5k race and 30 days later I was charged $99.95 for a yearly membership without my knowledge of ever signing up. Trying to dispute the charge now but this company is awful to trick people into signing up for a trial unknowingly. I wonder how much money they are actually getting away with this without people realizing money is being taken out of their account for a membership they didn't sign up for.

      Same problem as everyone else. Signed up for a soccer camp and got slapped with a $99.95 membership fee a month later. No email letting you know you were about to be charged, or letting me know I was in the subscription. Just a completely silent grab of $99.95 from my bank account. Only noticed a month later while reviewing transactions. They have their address posted. Anyone want to pay them a visit and discuss with them in person? Maybe it would help if they spoke face to face with the people they rob. Please be aware that apparently they are being sued.

      Somehow this company uses Phishing-scam practices and gets through a legal loophole to conduct business. Any order/purchases for tickets, races or school activities that utilize Active Network are subject to them stealing your credit card and registration information to have you join a subscription. It's sneaky how they insert the option or choice to sign up with the box premarked or eluded to being so. Now I'm jumping through their hoops and subject to "are you sure" emails with more spam offers/discounts. Our government should *** these types of companies from ecommerce.

      Company is entirely built on defrauding people. They will charge your account with out authorization. Dont do business with them or any company that uses them

      Can I give zero stars? I signed up for a few races and somehow ended up with a unauthorized membership charge like everyone else on here. This is completely unacceptable. I am 100% sure they are violating several laws with these fraudulent charges. One being the ***** There is no way to even delete your card information. Which Im sure violates a data privacy law. As a consumer I feel violated and financially abused. They must be stopped. LEGAL ACTION MUST BE TAKEN!
