1 starThis Apartment Complex is leagues better than the housing in the local area. Our first impression of this location is subpar due to a scheduling error made my an associate not on site scheduling tours that conflict with leasing *****s. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes just to conduct our tour. The leasing ***** had a distasteful attitude that was reflected on us. During the inspection of the apartment this same associate took a disgruntled personal phone call, while basically saying that we the customer were the inconvenience to her. Overall the apartment themselves is nice and spacious. And a huge plus compared to other complexes was a benefit for active military receiving the benefit of no application fee, no administrative fees, no security deposit, and no move in fees. Which was the only major reason why we attempted to apply to this location after such a distasteful first impression. What Hampton Place doesnt tell you is that you have to meet certain criteria on top of being active military. Then also dont tell you that this offer ended 7May25. My SO and I toured this apartment a full week after this date and their sales rep/leasing ***** handed us this flyer with those benefits and no fine print attached. We attempted to apply that day. 5 days later were being told that we are required to make a payment of 300$ along with other fees even though we were never told we were approved within the first 24hrs of us applying. Let alone trying to contact the representatives has been like pulling teeth just to find out why we owe the 300$. Then once I finally did hear from the management team. They attempted to give me a run around about how the special ended the 7th of may even though the flyer handed to us has no end date listed for the special and was guaranteed by the leasing *****. This gave me the feeling this is done on purpose in order to gain profit if someone does not decide to follow through with the leasing process.Review fromDylan S

1 starThey repeatedly try to scam former residents on fees and assessments upon move out. They attempted multiple times to charge us the wrong rates, totaling $1250, upon move out. They only adjusted after repeatedly being called out regarding the matter. This has been a reoccurring theme among multiple other former residents that we spoke to.Review fromJoniquea L

1 starThey never fix on anything. Gate is always broken. Leasing office never a huge help for any issue. Workers never want to fix on anything. Mold in the bathroom. Adding charges that are not talked up about.Review fromZarraya B

1 starThe management at ********************, Apartments is horrible. The staffing is great however, the manager herself has poor professional mannerisms. The gate exiting the premises closed on my car and caused a few scratches. It took me three days to even get a response after calling every day about this issue. I never received a call back instead. I went up there and she flat out told me it was my fault that my car got hit by the gate. The only cameras that ********************, Apartments has is the entrance and exit; however, The security footage have not been working for the past six months.Review fromShawney R

1 starIndy7925 apts. With property managers Mrs. ****** **** and Mrs. ***** *******. They had me and my fiance sign a lease to one of their units and took my deposit of $1250.00. Then tell us we can move in but the following day, Mrs. ****** **** said her manager Mrs. ***** ******* have to do a pre-screen which should have been done before we signed a lease and took our deposit of $1250.00 So now they come back with they can't allow me and my fiance move in because he doesn't have a social security number which we told them he is a non immigrant on a work ***** Then just return my deposit money so I can apply for another apt. Their response was we no longer have your money, you will get a letter in the mail. This is nothing but a pyramid scam these two ladies are running and I read a review they did this to another consumer.Review fromLee D

1 starRivers Edge at **************** is a predatory business that preys on college students who do not know any better. My daughter moved into this complex at the beginning of her Sophomore year (fall '22) on a 12-month lease. Two months after moving in they talked her into signing another lease for the following school year, still *************************************************************************************************** advance? When her first lease was close to being up she informed them that she was moving out and they held her to that second lease. I went to talk to them, and the people in the office, students themselves, can not make decisions and only know what they are told to say. I told the girl in the office that my daughter was moving out and that we would not be paying a dime to them. Now it is showing up on her credit report as a collection for $4500.00. As I said before this place is predatory and I have already made calls to community housing groups to report their practices. After reading some of these reviews, I see that others have had similar experiences.Review fromJu P

1 starI have been having the same plumbing issues in two separate locations within the unity for several months now and I have come to the conclusion that I am being jerked around by these imbeciles (and yes, I meant 'imbeciles'). Is it too much to ask for the property owners to fix what is wrong in order to keep the tenants happy? To make matters even worse, when you make inquiries about vacating the property, they are quick to announce that your lease has not expired yet and the fact that you can be charged a 'whole months rent' in order to leave. My next step in this matter is to contact the ***************** about the conditions I am in and I will most definitely follow through with whatever recommendations being given to me.Please future residents, you will regret spending a $1000 to stay at ******* Place Apartments in ********, **. But don't take my word as the gospel truth, come and take a look at exterior surroundings for yourself and then draw your own conclusions from that.Review fromChataya S

1 starTitle: Extremely Disappointed with ******************* I am extremely disappointed with my experience at *******************. When I was considering signing a lease, they assured me I could move in early on the 16th. Based on this promise, I signed the lease, expecting they would confirm the early move-in date as promised. After signing the lease, I immediately emailed them, stating that I would need to cancel the lease if early move-in on June 16th was not available. Despite this, I received no confirmation or response. I have called them every week, sent emails, and even tried texting the chat, but I have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, they have now informed me that I cannot cancel my lease, even though it is still two months out and I haven't moved in yet. I live out of state, and their lack of communication and disregard for a tenant's concerns is unacceptable. They coerced me into signing a lease under false pretenses and have since provided no support or answers. I would not recommend ******************* to anyone based on my experience.Review fromTamia C

1 starI am not surprised. You see, the current management system is run by incompetent individuals that lacks accountability of their own actions. Their business is to create uncomfortable living conditions for the residents. Minimum maintenance work is only performed. As a result, at this to date Building 14 is coded on several units. The management is not concern about completion of the residents' issues but is rather only about charging ridiculous amounts of fees. Many residents' decisions are to MOVE-OUT which seems to be every day. Meanwhile, their competitors and all-around town is aware that DLP Meadowbrook at ****************** Apartments is barely at 75 tenant occupancy. I find it very insane that they continue to practice poor business with real life family lives; and seems to not have a bit of a concern. The *************************** is compared to amateurs and is completely out of control. Very distasteful especially with the lack of professionalism and courtesy to good paying residents. I so glad that I am fortunate to find a new home for my family. There this apartment rental manage is deserving of BBB ********************** score F. Submitted on 02/07/2024 By *****
