    On 10/22/22 my husband and I signed a contract to have Tradebloc (TB) work to terminate our Westgate (WG) timeshare, with the understanding that if our contract was not terminated within 18 months, we would be entitled to a refund of the $4,875 payment made to TB. We completed all the requested paperwork in Jan 2023. We received an email in Apr 2023 requesting a phone call. When I replied, I never received a response. We received another email in Aug 2023 requesting a phone call, which we had on 8/25/23. On the call, we were offered the option to make an additional payment to TB for credit monitoring. We asked for the info to be sent via email. What we received was not credit monitoring info, but was instead a recital. We did not sign the recital and opted to wait and see if TB could negotiate a resolution with WG. There was no communication again until Feb 2024; an email requesting a phone call that took place on 2/12/24. We left that phone call understanding we had 2 options. One was to negotiate with an escrow company to get someone else to purchase our timeshare. Two was to pay WG a fee of $1,995 to exit our timeshare (our contract cancelled). We agreed to the second option. After the phone call, we received a recital identical to the one we received in 8/2023. I emailed TB to confirm the payment would be made to WG. I signed the recital and remitted payment on 3/11/24. That day I received an email congratulating me on our TB Travel activation. However, we still believed that our payment was be made to WG, as that is what was indicated by TB. In the months to follow, it became clear that our WG contract had not been cancelled. On 7/26/24 I sent an email to TB requesting a full refund, since we were beyond the 18 month window, and our WG timeshare contract had not been successfully cancelled. I received an email approval of my refund on 8/27/2024. I have exchanged numerous emails with TB but have not received my refund. I would like the refund immediately.

    ON JULY 19, 2022, WE ATTENDED A TRADEBLOC TEAM PRESENTATION AT A *********** IN ********, **, IN RESPONSE TO AN UNSOLICITED PHONE VOICE MESSAGE INVITATION RECEIVED FROM TRADEBLOC THE DAY BEFORE. DURING THE MEETING WE COMPLETED AGREEMENT PAPERWORK AND PAID FOR WHAT TRADEBLOC STATED WAS AN INITIAL FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,450.00 TO PROVIDE SERVICES THAT INCLUDED ITS EFFORTS TO EXIT OUR MARRIOTT TIMESHARE AGREEMENT, AND ADDITIONAL CREDIT PROTECTION SUPPORT. OVER TIME, WE PROVIDED DOCUMENTATION TO TRADEBLOC BY EMAIL AND THROUGH ITS PORTAL, PER ITS REQUESTS, INCLUDING OUR DRIVERS LICENSES, PARTIALLY REDACTED SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS, AND UPDATED CREDIT REPORTS, BETWEEN THE JULY 19, 2022 PURCHASE DATE THROUGH MARCH 4, 2024. SINCE JULY 2022 TO DATE (MARCH 2, 2025), WE BOTH EXPERIENCED OVER ******************* OUR CREDIT SCORES.     We signed a contract and submitted payment 11/1/2024 in the amount of $5,950.00 for Tradebloc to cancel our timeshare with Spinnaker. We were told as our timeshare was paid in full and current on our yearly fees, chances were very good that we would see a cash settlement offer from ************ January we were contacted by Case Manager ****** ***** telling us that we had an offer but we only had a few days to accept - we just needed to sign the recital that he sent and pay another $6000.00. We asked to see the recital in advance and were told we were not able to see that until we signed. We were offered another option for over $7000.00 and Tradebloc would take all responsibility for the timeshare. We asked to see the communications with Spinnaker regarding our timeshare cancellation and we were again sent the sample recital and an email from Mr ****** where he told us that the way they operate is proprietary and we are unable to see that information. We do not feel any effort was made to legitimately cancel our timeshare and definitely do not feel they were acting in our best interest. They are unwilling to share any information with us and I have no trust in their intent to honor our contract. I have included emails samples in the pdf attached. We want a full refund of our funds.

    We entered an agreement with TradeBloc to disengage my wife and myself from our timeshare, ************** in *********, **. A year went by with no activity on their guarantee to get us out of our timeshare membership within a certain time frame. We understood this might take time, however, when inquiring about progress, we realized this was likely a scam we had fallen for. TradeBloc was never able to provide legitimate legal progress on working on our case. We paid $3,800 and were told if we were unsatisfied with progress we could request a refund. We did so and filed the paperwork, but were told we had only a few days to file the paperwork and were beyond that timeline and would not be getting a refund. This company has been difficult to work with and we believe is a scam being allowed to operate in the state of *****.

    The Company charges a large fee with promises of getting you out of the time share and then a few months later call you to tell you for them to continue we need to sign another agreement pay them another large fee and they will take your case.They are as bad as the time share companies

    On 11/16/2024 we went to an event put on by Tradebloc about getting out of a time share. The representative explained that if we hire them they have attorneys, we pay one fee, they get us completely out of our time share and no additional cost and protect our credit. Then next day when I spoke with the intake **** I again questioned the gal that called and she assured there was no more fees and they protect our credit while getting us out of our time share fully. I advised he I wanted to make sure there is no more fees for their services to get us out and she said yes we are paid in full and their attorneys will get us out completely. Next 2 months we did everything they advised us to do and then they called us stating we have to pay the timeshare $19000 and they will sell out time share or we opt to do the recital for $4300 and they will protect our credit and we stop paying timeshare. Then they will have their attorneys go to court for us and they will make sure our credit is protected. This is nothing that we were told during their event they told us we were paid in full and they would get us out of our timeshare. They never told us the money we were paying were to get us offers to get out. We have been lied to and misled. I am requesting a full refund of my money.

    I am rejecting this response because:   We still feel we have been lied to by Tradebloc. We were advised we would have attorneys getting us out of this timeshare. When I was contacted by **** she even agreed we were lied to by her staff members and she would need to speak with them. How do you continue to work with a company that has lied to you from the get go. We did not agree to sign up and have a company to have them tell us to just stop making payments and let it go into foreclosure and they will protect our credit.  What about lawsuits if they get  a judgment against us does Tradebloc pay that?  You claim you will protect us from the timeshare and you will dispute negative reports to our credit. What happens when the ********* company sends contracts to the credit bureau and show we signed up for the timeshare then the credit bureau allows the derogatory credit to be reported. What if the timeshare hands over to third party collections companies. Then we have to fight that for years and years, and thats not the timeshare anymore so we are not covered by you because Tradebloc agreement is against the *****************.  We are still requesting a full refund due to the deception and lies we were told to get us to sign up.

What was communicated during the presentation was indeed accurate: you were not owed any additional payments, and that remains the case.     ******* the president of tradebloc took the time to call us after my wife got home from work to explain and answer questions.  She put us at easy and explained it in much more detail so that we understood.  We happen to get a case manager that did not explain it well and ******* spent the time and went over everything with us. She also extended the recital to us at no cost to protect us for a lifetime. We are accepting of what has been offered and willing to let them work our case to see if they can fulfill the promise they made. We appreciate and feel some relief after speaking with ******* about the process. We are looking forward to being out of this timeshare and wish there was a way to get government to outlaw these timeshares and their deceptive practices to sell them.  When tradebloc is successful at getting us out of our timeshare, I will further update  the bbb and post a very positive review.

    I WAS SOLICITED BY TRADEBLOC IN MARCH OF ***************** CANCELLING AND GETTING A REFUND FOR MY TIMESHARE.I ATTENDED A PRESENTATION WHERE TRADEBLOC DISCUSSED THE PROBLEM WITH THE TIMESHARE INDUSTRY AND WHAT THEY WERE INTENDING TO DO WAS COMPILE A GROUP OF OWNERS THAT WISHED TO CANCEL AND RECEIVE REFUNDS FOR THEIR TIME SHARE, PRESENT OUR COMPLAINT TO A COURT OF LAW AND WORK ON OUR BEHALFS AS GROUP.. THE ***** WAS THAT IF THEY COULD NOT RECEIVE AN ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION,WITH IN 18 MOS, THEY WOULD REFUN US 100 PERCENT OF THEIR FEE.A FEW MONTH LATER I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM TRADEBLOC THAT THEY HAD BEEN ABLE TO NEGOTIATE AN EXIT AND I I NEED TO DO WAS PAY AN ADDITIONAL 3500 FOR ESCROW IN ORDER TO BE RELEASED FROM MY TIME SHARE. OF COURSE I DID NOT AGREE AND CONTACTED MY TIME SHARE AND I WAS ABLE TO EXIT MY CONTRACT WITH NO FEE!SO I DID SO.I CONTACTED TRADBLOC AND TOLD THEM THAT THERE WAS NO LONGER A NEED FOR THEM TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I CANCELLED MY TIMESHARE ON MY OWN AND REQUESTED A FULL REFUND SINCE THEY DID NOTHING TO CANCEL MY TIME SHARE AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD NOT CONSIDER A REFUND TILL AFTER THE ******************* THEIR CONTRACT. I TOLD THEM THAT THEIR WAS NO LONGER ANY OBLIGATION TO TERMINATE BUT I WAITED AS THEY ASKED FOR THE 18 MOS TO TO EXPIRE.ON THE 18TH OF OCTOBER 2024, WHICH WAS 18 MOS FROM MY CONTRACT DATE I CONTACTED TRADBLOC AND REQUESTED MY REFUND WHICH THEY REFUSE TO DO.I ASKED THEM WHY WOULD THEY KEEP MY MONEY WHEN THEY DID NOT CANCEL MY TIME SHARE.     In December 2022 I attended a presentation from Tradebloc on cancelling a timeshare. I signed an agreement with Tradebloc and paid $3000 with the written promise from Tradebloc to refund my money if they were unable to get a satisfactory agreement within 18 months. The only offer I got from Tradebloc was to pay them an additional $3750 to get a cancellation. This was not satisfactory and I formally requested a refund of my $3000 in July 2024. Tradebloc has not refunded the money and has sent me no more requests for information.

    On October 7, 2024, I engaged Tradebloc Inc. to assist with exiting my Hilton timeshare. On December 3, 2024, I was contacted by a representative named ****** ***** who stated he was my assigned case manager. On December 18, 2024, we had a follow-up telephone conversation during which he informed me that Tradebloc had contacted ****** and negotiated an exit for a cost exceeding $18,000. He advised that I either sign a form called a 'Recital' and pay an additional $2,600 to Tradebloc to protect myself from any adverse credit reporting by ******, since this would involve defaulting on my financial responsibilities. Despite numerous email requests and telephone conversations asking Tradebloc to provide evidence of their negotiation with ****** on my behalf, Mr. ***** stated that Tradebloc did not have the resources to provide such evidence
