In January '22, I signed a contract with the ********************** (***) to sell my timeshare, which cost $2,000. Then I was turned over to Tradebloc (Tb), which handled all else. In Sept Tb informed me they'd exited me out of my timeshare but I was required to pay an additional $1695, a fee was never mentioned in the contract. Tb sent a Lifetime Closure Recital (***), stating theyd successfully negotiated me out of my timeshare interest, and I was severed from use of my timeshare .Though I was exited from the timeshare, maintenance bills continued. By April of 2023, I was increasingly nervous about these notices. I spoke to several people at ** asking for documentation from my timeshare company acknowledging Tbs negotiated exit from the timeshare. The *** was between Tb and me. I had seen nothing between ** and my timeshare company verifying an exit transaction. Each *** said theyd check it, but nothing came of it. In June I got a call from a collection agency demanding almost $1500 for maintenance/late fees. I explained that as of the prior Sept. I no longer owned the *********. Asked if I had a quitclaim *******.. then told I had been scammed. Ultimately. I spoke with several Tb ***s who responded with different storiesnone valid or truthful. I called my timeshare in July and asked about my status. I still owned it there had not been any exit! The contract states: Guarantee: **************************. Guarantees to get you out of your timeshare or we will refund 100% of your money back, yet (TST/Tb) have no intention of honoring this and returning my money. I cannot help but wonder if this was intentionally perpetrated because I am a senior citizen, and as such, they figured they could get away with this scam. It is appalling that Tb/*** operate with impunity while engaging in fraudulent and deceptive business practices while bilking their clients. I am guessing they view older people (like myself) as easy prey. It is egregious.Business Response

We are sorry to hear your frustration. You signed up with us January 2022. These can take years to get done. Please understand throughout this entire process they are going to continue to send bills and threatening correspondence to frustrate you enough to pay them. That is their job to collect. We are continuing to work on your behalf and yes you have no owner rights to book a reservation. We have also have been protecting your credit. We do not look at age with how we handle each case; every client is important to us no matter their age. We will see this through and be successful!Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
Like so many other responses/info I have received from Tradebloc in the past 2 years, it is not accurate!First of all, when I signed on, I was told the process can take up to a year not years.
I submitted the Lifetime Closure Recital to the BBB. This document, sent to me on 9/22, clearly states,Tradebloc has now successfully negotiated you out of the above mentioned timeshare interest..Therefore, you have no further ownership/interest in your timeshare.
After sending several emails to Tradebloc about concerns I had about letters I got telling me my timeshare maintenance fee was late, I got an email on 3/27/23 from a Tradebloc *** who reassured me:
I can confirm you have a signed Mortgage Recital Agreement in your file. You are also on our list of Exited Clients, confirming you have been released from any obligations to the timeshare developers.
With the Lifetime Closure Recital and a follow-up letter 6 months letter, assuring me I had been exited from my timeshare, how is it you are continuing to work on my behalf? As I ultimately told your ***s in Sept., 2023, I no longer own the timeshare because, after I found out in July, 2023 - from the ********* company itself - that I still owned it, (despite reassurances by Tradebloc on multiple occasions that I had been exited), I was able to get a deed-back from my timeshare company, and within 3 weeks, I had a quitclaim deed proving that I no longer owned the timeshare. This cost me $1895, but I had something to show for it- no more timeshare. After investing $3695 to the Timeshare Selling Team/Tradebloc, what do I have to show for it.absolutely nothing but aggravation and far too many hours spent trying to get this resolved (by getting my money back) to no avail. Tradebloc has not honored the contract, which clearly states 100% money back if you cannot exit a client from their timeshare. You not only failed to exit me, but you did something far worse you LIED and told me I had been exited. As if that isnt bad enough, you then had the incredible audacity to charge me an additional $1695 for a lifetime of credit protection. Unfortunately, it did not occur to me at the time to think, Why would I need credit protection if I have entered a legal contract to get me out of my timeshare? You better believe I was wondering why I was getting calls from a collection agency when I had this supposed lifetime of credit protection.
You (Tradebloc) ended your response by saying, We will see this through and be successful! You have already been successful in bilking me of my hard-earned $3695. It is appalling that you continue to operate with impunity while engaging in fraudulent and deceptive business practices.
There is no question that I have been scammed by Tradebloc. You know it, and there is no response from you in which you will admit your wrong doings, so you will continue to lie. I had no expectation that posting my experience with the BBB would get me the refund I am entitled to. However, I felt it was important to file my complaint in the hopes that others would steer clear of these dis***utable companies (********* selling Team/Tradebloc) if they are looking to get out of their timeshares. Frankly, I would be VERY skeptical of any positive reviews, as I am sure they are phony!Business Response

This client is no longer an owner. On 8/22/2023 the Deed was transferred back to the resort and is listed in the County Recorders Office in the County where it was originally filed.Customer Answer
Date: 03/22/2025
I am rejecting this response because:
The scammers (business) stated that The client is no longer an owner. On 8/22/23 the Deed was transferred back to the resort and is listed in the County Records Office in the County of where it was originally filed.
That statement is true...the ONLY statement they have made that is not a lie. Yes, the deed was transferred back to the timeshare, but NOT because of efforts by Tradebloc. After Tradebloc told me the timeshare was no longer mine, I kept getting bills for the yearly maintenance fee. I sent these bills to Tradebloc. They told me to ignore them, which I did...until a I began getting calls from a delinquent credit agency. I have excellent credit, and this was appalling to me. When I told the ************* *** that I no longer owned the *********, she asked what proof did I have? Other than the email from Tradebloc assuring me I was no longer an owner, I had no proof. The *** told me it sounded like I was scammed. I then called the timeshare itself, found I was still the owner, and they never heard of Tradebloc! That was a rude awakening. Ultimately I was put in touch with the chairman of the condo board, who agreed to let me do a deed buy back (despite the fact that they only allowed a small number of owners to do this each year, and I was "going to the front of the line"). Believe me I was very grateful. It cost me $1895 for the deed buyback, and I have the legal papers to prove it.
I think it is appalling that Tradebloc continues to do business, as they are liars and scammers. I can only imagine how many more people have lost an appreciable amount of money after MY experience. If nothing else - and for me it was a big deal NOT to get my money back from these scammers - I had hoped that they would be put out of business and others would not suffer the same the same fate as me. But alas, it seems that no ******* or agency wants to take them on.
My response will supposedly "alert" Tradebloc that I am "Not satisfied with their efforts," but I can assure you it is a waste of time. They do not care what anyone thinks or does, as long as they can continue their illegal activities with impunity.

I added a timeshare seminar in July where representives from Tradebloc presented information about timeshare and laws about deeds and selling timeshares to them to avoid the high cost of maintenance fees that increase yearly. I am a widower and a considerable amount of these fees and have not been able to pay them, or use the timeshare since my husbands passing in 2019. They sales person said I could sell to them and still be able to use the property without the fees associated. I decided to sell to them and they said they would charge my credit card the ln payoff the balance after a few weeks. After discuss this with my children, I decided to keep my timeshare and have my children take over the units and requested to cancel the sale and be provided a refund. They were non-responsive to my emails and made promises to return calls. I final wa told that my request was denied and I wouldnt be provided a refund! This is totally not acceptable to me and I can not afford the extreme credit balance from the amount charged to my credit card. I have a 100% refund guarantee, however I cannot wait that long for them to credit back my card when I am not selling to them and they have not provided me with any service. Please help me!Business Response

We are very sorry to hear the passing of your husband and your financial hardship. Please understand we are following the guidelines of our process and procedures. You singed a ********************** Agreement on July 27, 2023. On the bottom on page 3 right above your signature it states "You may cancel this agreement without penalty or obligation at any time prior to midnight of the third (3rd) business day from your execution of this agreement." You also signed on July 27, 2023 Agreement No. ******, a Money back guarantee stating that if we cannot perform the work you paid us to complete in 18 months, then you would be entitled upon review for a refund. It has been less than five (5) months. We cannot give a refund just because a client changes their mind and we have already performed work on your behalf. I hope you understand why your refund was declined at this time. Thank you.Initial Complaint

On 14 January 2022, I entered an agreement with Tradebloc ************************ Agreement , ***************************************************, for $3,350.00. Tradebloc committed to assist with the termination of my timeshare with ***************** Timeshare Resorts. They even stated I could expect a refund from the timeshare, but if they were not able to terminate the timeshare agreement within 18 months , they would provide a full refund of $3,350.00. I seldom received any communication or response from them.Tradebloc did not terminate the timeshare as promised. When I questioned the lack of communication I was told that was a good sign. And when I was contacted it was a request for more money from me. At one point I was contacted by a rude and verbally abusive representative. After the 18 months was up I sent an email per our agreement which stated; If within 18 mths we have not negotiated any settlement with your Creditor to your satisfaction Tradebloc will refund the entire purchase price you initially paid. And to date, I have not received any response. I am requesting a full refund. Thank you.Business Response

We never like to receive reviews like this. Please understand when clients come to us for assistance the task at hand is not easy and it takes lots of patience. This is not something that is done quickly as there are many moving parts. The biggest obstacle is waiting. We cannot communicate anything to our clients when we are also waiting to hear from the timeshare. However, in the interim we have placed a Block and Protect on your credit report and we have guarded you against many elements that could be happening from the timeshares legal team. You signed up with us less than a year ago signing an 18-month guarantee. You need to allow us the full 18-months. We have done everything you hired us to do. We cannot wait for this to behind you as well!!Customer Answer

In December of 2022 we were contacted by a company representing Tradebloc regarding our timeshare. We were told that for a one time fee of $3850 they would get ** out of our timeshare with a 100 percent money back guarantee. After forwarding all the information they requested we didnt here anything from them for about 10 months. After numerous attempts to contact them, they finally contacted me saying that we needed to pay an additional $22,000 to get out of the contract. That is more than we paid in the beginning. Tradebloc and their representatives misled us and many other people concerning this matter. On the contract we signed with Tradebloc on page 4 it states and I quote,re $100% money back guarantee Dear client, in no way can anyone predict the outcome of your debt and credit matter; however we can guarantee our performance. If within 18 months we have not negotiated any settlement with your creditor to your satisfaction Tradebloc will refund the entire purchase price you initially paid. This generous offer is based your full cooperation with our team. *****************/ceo Tradebloc Tradebloc has not held up to their end and reuses to refund my money as per their money back guarantee.Business Response

I engaged (and paid $849 processing fee and $6,887 one time payment!) with ******************* regarding being released from a Hilton timeshare contract. My case was assigned to ******** ********* (who I also paid money to - $750!) who filed the cease and desist letter and case. On 11/11/2019, I submitted Tradebloc Addendum with Signature to Tradebloc c/o *******************. Due to COVID, my case was signficantly delayed and I did not receive any updates. In Spring 2021, I received a foreclosure release letter from **, which I immediately forwarded to Seaside and Tradebloc seeking guidance. I have contacted Tradebloc as well as ******************* as the letter I received indicates the timeshare was foreclosed. They both assured me that they "would not leave me stranded as we are here to protect and correct your credit". It has now come to my attention that Experian does have this Hilton mortgage closed as negative/foreclosed and is reporting same in my credit report. So - I paid a lot of money for this timeshare contract break for it to be foreclosed on and negatively impact me and my credit history anyway?Business Response
Date: 11/28/2023
I'm sorry that this negative reporting has been placed on your credit report. Communication is key. It shows that you have not made us aware of this. It is your responsibility to contact us and send us a copy of your credit report for us to take action. Without alerts and notifications, we have no way of knowing if your credit/reports have been affected. We can only do what we can without having full cooperation from the client.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I did in fact, contact both *******************, as well as Tradebloc last year during my mortgage refi process. At that time Tradebloc provided a letter for the mortgage company advising that they were working on clearing this negative report from my credit history. I did in fact fail to follow up after that, however, I have been very sick the last two years dealing with cancer and other autoimmune diseases. This was not at the top of my list the end of last year. However, it again has reared up due to it, affecting my ongoing credit. I do not accept their response as it is still noted to my credit report and they did not offer any indication as to what they will do to correct that nor address my commentary regarding a refund of fees.Business Response
Date: 11/29/2023
We are truly sorry of your health issues. However, the only we way we can continue to dispute them is for you to inform us when it is placed on your credit report. We do not monitor and unfortunately your timeshare will continue to try to damage your credit. Once we are notified from you then will be dispute it every 90 days. Since their was a lapse in time during your health issues and you were not able to get us your credit reports thats why it was placed again on your credit report again. Please send us a current credit report. Thank you!Customer Answer
Date: 11/29/2023
I am rejecting this response because:
I did in fact notify Seaside and Tradebloc both in 2020 and 2021 - attached are emails in which Tradebloc acknowledges my urgent request. My illness and delay with follow up was AFTER notifying these organizations. Therefore their response indicating had I notified them they would review my credit every 90 days is false!!
I also attached a letter from HIlton which indicates my contract was canceled but no details presented that it was in fact FORECLOSED.
Finally, I attached the information from Experian as of today which clearly shows the Hilton account, negative, foreclosed.
Therefore, I am still seeking my credit correction and refund.

Tradebloc lied to us. On Friday July 15th we were charged $25,500 to our credit card with the promise of providing us with a new interest free credit card for 21 months that we would receive by Tuesday the 19th. At this time we could transfer our entire balance to the new card. We never received the card and called every phone number we had for Tradebloc several times to find out why the delay. Of course this was past the 3 days that we could cancel our agreement but we trusted that this was a legitimate company and not a scam. We were run around from person and was then told the person we were dealing with was no longer with the company. We were then dealing with a new person who said that we had to fill out a refund form (we also had to send photos of our drivers license and social security card!) We did but didnt receive a response (no surprise). Finally Mr. ***** got back yo us and said he never received the form and we needed to send it again. Again we made several phone calls and left several messages. At this point we knew that we were being ignored. A reputable company would at least return your call. Finally Mr. ***** hot back to us and said that we would be getting refunded. We waited a very long time without a refund or a response. When we finally connected with Mr. ***** on Friday October 27th he said that we would have our refund by Tuesday October 31st. Well that didnt happen so again we were making several calls and leaving messages. Finally when we got through to someone we were informed that Mr. ***** was no longer with the company! We are still waiting for a call back from the new president. This has been devastating and has become a major financial hardship, What we are going through should be considered illegal considering Tradeblocs employees lie to get peoples money. We are literally sick about this and wish that we never got involved with Tradebloc.Business Response
Date: 11/28/2023
I understand your frustration however, if we are going to talk facts lets make sure to get them accurate. A refund is just not given because a client feels they deserve one. There is a lot to take into account. The credit card matter had 100% nothing to do with Tradebloc rather a Authorized Agent that we have contacted on your behalf to contact you which they have tired several times to rectify this situation. We have a complete call log of us trying to communicate with you. The same President of the company has tried to date six (6) times to reach you only to leave a message. By filing BBB Complaints is not going to get this matter solved nor are your remarks accurate. We will reach out to you again to get this remedied. Than you!Initial Complaint

We attended a seminar March 11, 2022 and signed paperwork promising an exit from our timeshares. We were charged ***** for these services. included in what we signed was a 100% money back guarantee stating that within 18 months they had not negotiated any settlement to our satisfaction they would refund our entire purchase price. They attempted to get more money from us which we refused. We are getting calls from collection agencies and we are clearly not out of our time shares as promised. We spoke with the ** who told us the sales person misspoke at the meeting and that they knew this was a problem but they still will not refund our money. It is clearly a scam and they are blatantly misleading people. We just want our money back since this company has done nothing for us.Business Response

We hired Tradebloc in May to get us out of Diamondv Resorts timeshare and were told the fee was $4,197 which we paid If Tradebloc didnt get us out in 18 months we would get a full refund. I sent them credit reports they requested. Seven weeks ago I got a call from Tradebloc saying I had to send them $15,000 and my timesfare would dissappear or $2,690 and I would get insurance so I could not be sued by *******. I was never told there were additional fees. I never received a copy of the contract. I asked them to send me the contract and they never sent it to me. They kept on saying its in the mail. Now they haven't contacted me at all.Business Response

The amount you paid to us on 5/24/23 was paid in full. However, you did sign a Credit & *************** Agreement that states in paragraph 3 "there may be a Settlement offered that includes fees" which you signed and received a copy of. We are more than happy to send you copies of all the Enrollment and Legal paperwork that you signed in which you did receive a copy. You were offered a full Transfer and Recital which you were informed that you may "accept" or "decline" These work 100% in your favor so therefore we would not be doing our job in your best interest if we did not offer them to you. It is a simple to fix to send you a "Sample" copy which I will have legal do that immediately. In the Credit and *************** Agreement that you signed, It clearly states there may be additional fees however, again it is something you can accept or decline. You haven't even accepted or declined at this present time. You also signed a 18-month guarantee allowing us 18 months. We have only had your file for 5 months. It doesn't seem right that you have filed a complaint against us because the "Sample" Agreement got lost in the mail which you have not even accepted the offer. This is not something we typically do unless you accept the offer and we were sending it to you anyway per your request.Customer Answer

On November 16, 2023 from our ********** "We have sent the contract as requested. We have also sent a sample recital about a week ago but I don't show them completing a deal for an actual recital" We should not be held accountable that you continue to claim that we are not sending it when in fact we have sent it twice now; once from your Case Manager and once from the **********. We are are now resending for the third (3rd) time.Customer Answer

It was the summer of this year. I received an invitation to the Marriott in downtown ******** for info regarding timeshare cancellation. So I listened to the spiel. After the meeting I explained I recently had an operation. In fact I was wearing a neck brace and I believe I had my cane at that time. At the end of the spiel, I explained I really can not afford the $6000 they wanted to cancel my timeshare. This was a one time , last time I would have to deal with any monies regarding timeshare. Again I explained that I am now disabled. So we worked out a lower price for me giving me a military discount. I paid the agreed amount price(on my credit card). It had to be paid to get into the next group of cancellations of timeshares they were doing by a very near date. After the monies were paid I start getting text that my husband and I had difficulties filling out due to computer ineptness. Finally everything is filled out correctly, they have everything they need to cancel my timeshare(so I thought). I get a phone call telling me the way to get out of my timeshare is to pay off a % of what the lifetime of the contract is. I tell him I dont have it. I then get a text telling me I spoke with their parent company and they could cancel my timeshare for much less. I responded to please refund my monies as you have a 100% back guaranteeBusiness Response

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. As I informed Tradebloc it appears I was mistaken. It was a totally different company harassing me by text message. After speaking with Tradebloc I am sure they will resolve my timeshare problem within the allotted time(14 months)Initial Complaint

In November of 2021, we entered an agreement with Tradebloc, ******, **, to end our Westgate Timeshare for the amount of $3150.00. On July 7th 2022, we were offered a settlement to be completely out of our Westgate Timeshare and occured Maintenance Fees, for an additional fee of $2395.00. As of this day, November 28, 2023, our names are still on Public Records Deeds, in Osceola County. Also, as of this day, 11/28/2023, we are still being harrassed, by ************************, via phone calls and emails. We were told, by Tradebloc that we can not have any contact with Westgate Vacation Villa's, should they call or email and that they would handle it. Tradebloc offered an 18 month, money back guarantee, and that is when we started finding out what was really going on, which was nothing. We asked for that Money Back Guarantee, after 18 18 months and we were denied, by Tradebloc. See all uploaded supporting documents between us, and Tradebloc.Business Response

After reviewing your file we will be issuing a refund. Sometimes we come to a stand-still with the timeshare. Please understand we follow the correct protocol with all timeshares however, sometimes they do not cooperate with us and have their own agenda. This is why we have the 18-month guarantee in place. I will get this submitted immediately. Thank you for allowing us this opportunity and for all your patience. We wish you the best!Customer Answer
