    On July 22, 2024 I purchased a set of **** Edge Replica Polished 22" wheels off of ****. They were delivered on July 25th as committed. I received a note with the wheels stating if I sent my old wheels back with the return labels provided I would receive as much as $35 per wheel as a core charge that Wheels America could refurbish and resell. I never received that payment. On August 30th I hadn't heard anything so I reached out about the situation and someone responding from Wheels America confirmed the wheels were received by the company and that I would soon receive a check for the wheels. I never did. I made contact again on Oct 16th and then again on the 22nd about the situation. On Oct 23 I got a response with an apology and then on Oct 24th I was told the check would be 'resent'. Still, no payment. My address hasn't changed for decades and I received the wheels originally purchased so I know you have the correct address. I've tried to make contact again on Nov. 6th and again on Dec. 6th and Dec. 18th, but no one responds to my notes anymore. I've reported Wheels America to **** as performing a scam. It feels like Wheels America makes the original transaction and takes advantage of consumers when they return their old wheels.

    June 2nd of this year I purchased a auto rim from this company for ******, between the time I placed the order and receiving it, we found out that the vehicle it was purchased for was totaled therefore we no longer needed it. The rim arrived and had a return label which we used to return. I tracked the return and did not hear from anyone even after the company received it. I just received an email requesting why I returned it (after I inquired why I had not received the refund.) On the web site, it states that "simple, no hassle return or exchange, no questions asked" No where on the website does it disclose anything about a restocking fee. The email I received states that there is a ***** restocking fee and has been subtracted from the orginial payment. I questioned this and said that their website does not disclose this information, but they refuse to refund me in full.I am requesting help in receiving my full refund due to the website site not disclosing a "restocking fee"

    I sent 4 wheels to this company as their stated business is buying back wheels. They provided shipping labels, I sent the wheels via UPS, and they sent me a check. Well, as it turns out the check was kited as my bank just penalized me for a returned check. They appear to have individuals that actually work there that I've spoken to over the phone, but they are taking people's wheels and sending invalid checks. And as a result, I'm filing this complaint. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND THIS "WHEELS AMERICA" OPERATION SHUT DOWN, IMMEDIATELY. Their kited check cost me $635 and now I no longer have wheels to sell to a real business.

    We did receive ******'s wheels and we did mail him a check. Mr. **** and the Wheels America manager Sonya spoke on the phone about the check, Mr. **** told Sonya he lost the check. So we stopped payment on that check and immediately mailed out another check on September 28th. Apparently Mr. **** deposited that first check and that is why it bounced.

    Over the weekend, through our website chat, we received a threatening message (attached) from Mr. **** stating "I see what's happening here. So now I'm gonna call my boys in Dallas and ANYONE they find associated with Wheels America is getting disappeared". Also attached is an email I sent to Mr. **** apologizing for what happened and informing him I will not tolerate my employees being threatened. He responded, and you can read that as it is attached as well. Also in my email, I have offered twice to wire him the money through PayPal or Zelle and he has not responded. We do not have a company Zelle account, however I am willing to send it from my personal account due to his financial situation. The amount we owe him is $220, and I am certainly willing to pay him the overdraft charge, however he stated he is overdrawn $635. In the attached email he said he was overdrawn $435. I do not know which is true and have no control over his account, the check that bounced was $220.

    We buy wheels from customers every day, and we are not perfect, however we always make things right if we make a mistake. We have sent Mr. **** 2 checks, offered to wire him his $220 through PayPal or Zelle, and apologized to Mr. ****. I am willing to make it right, I just need Mr. **** to communicate with me.
