Not an employee , this is towards their program for people wanting to better themselves which is PTI (Peterbilt technical Institute) I was an enrolled student with a 4.0 GPA , I left my job , my significant other and daughter back in ********** so I can further my education. Before signing the offer letter , they knew every piece of my situation knowing Im making a big sacrifice. To make the long story short , it took me 10 years of my life to be able to get to this point of my life . Which is selected by Peterbilt into their program. After leaving my job, family and driving over a ***** miles , sleeping in my car just to attend this program to better myself and future , at the end of the first week I was contacted by a Peterbilt program manager. We were discussing over the phone and with no basis or legitimate reason I was removed from the program. After I was removed I tried making him understand that I made a commitment and I still want to continue my education with PTI he still continued to remove me. Like if he can predict the future. I was not the one person in my situation and I feel like I was discriminated. I made a huge sacrifice, Im out in ************ and I was removed because of his opinion. I am discouraged as a first generation education seeker, I left my job , family and wasted my own money just to spend a week and get removed for no reason. I apologize I was not young and that Im from ********** and according to you I didnt have an open mind . I dont understand how you can force words in my mouth and predict the future. I came a long way in life just to be discriminated. I am discouraged, and wont recommend any students from a trade school who has a family or wants to be close to home , they will make you go out to the facility and remove you even if you show you made a sacrifice and still willing to sacrifice.

Bought a brand new 2024 Peterbilt 389 in Feb 2024 from ********** truck and trailers in ********** ** that stops running on the highway in dangerous conditions the next day after taking delivery. Took it to a Peterbilt service shop at ***********. They worked with TCS Peterbilt who did not find a root cause of the issue, just applied an update, did not do enough to check the issue is resolved and sent me back on the road with no assurances. 45 minutes after picking the truck back the issue is back. Peterbilt just shot in the dark, spent limited time in cahoots with the service place to check some boxes on a warranty issue and left us stranded on the highway. Meanwhile I have wasted weeks in babysitting this issue on a new truck instead of being able to run my business and my second payment for this unit is coming up. How am I supposed to make payments on my truck and pay my driver a livelihood if I cannot be assured a brand new truck will run? Buyer beware on this brand and its service outlets. Peterbilt is again suggesting a random fix of replacing harness pins that have a two week delay to arrive and install.Update - picked up the truck again for the third time on March 20th. Truck stopped on March 23 in MO on the highway and March 24th in ** for three times.Need targeted timely resolution from Peterbilt and assurance this issue will not occur again.

We are a small business. Started during the pandemic. Purchased our 2nd truck, brand new 2023 Peterbilt 579. Purchased mid October 2022. Put on the road end of October 2022. Immediately noticed shaking on day 1 on 1st load. Broke down on day 2 on 2nd load. Had to call Peterbilt to have towed with loaded merchandise on trailer. Had to unload trailer load of merchandise of trailer in Peterbilt parking lot onto . Had to cancel 3 booked loads worth $8k. Had to find another trucker & unload a trailer of goods onto their trailer. Had to get hotel room. Had to get transportation from alabama where it broke down back to **************. Didn't work for 6 days. picked truck up Peterbilt service said "a lot of things were not hooked up on the truck from factory floor." Paid out of pocket for them to check the shaking $82. They said they didn't see anything. Back on the road immediately shaking uncontrollably. It got cold found Ispar bunk heater missing & was advertised as included. Cost into the thousands with install. ******************************* passed blame but dealer finding out over 10+ Peterbilts they sold all missing heaters. Said they were told they are out of stock when shipped to dealer. This is a brand new 2023 cost ** $215,500.00. Out of pocket $40k to get this new truck for business. This was supposed to be a upgrade for our business & 2nd truck. We have lost over $30,000 with loss of **************** travel, fuel & out of pocket expenses to get this Peterbilt right. We cannot afford to have this Peterbilt sit in a shop for months & loose $75,000+ in revenue. Peterbilt hasn't returned phone calls / emails. We have asked for a new truck. The # one Peterbilt manager that we initially spoke with has been disconnected. He promised to forward us info but never did follow up. Truck is shaking profusely as I write this. We just found out there are no Lemon Laws for commercial ************* know that. We are forced to continue drive or loose our business. Please help.

I had my engine rebuilt on May 5, 2022, at the Midwest Peterbilt in Council Bluffs, IA, since then the engine check light has come on and this results in the engine derating. Once the light came on I brought the truck into MHC Kenworth in Liberal, KS and was told that there were several codes for after treatment and that I would have to take my truck back to Midwest Peterbilt. Within the month of June, I have returned to Midwest Peterbilt numerous times with a engine check light issue. On July 11, 2022, I brought my truck into Midwest Peterbilt for a check engine light and the level 1 engine derate and was told that the DPF filter needed changed. After three days, with two nights in a motel, my truck was returned to me and within 90 miles the check engine light was back on and there was Level 1 engine derate five different times. On July 19, 2022, I returned to Midwest Peterbilt to have the check engine light look at and when I received the truck back on July 21, 2022 within five miles the engine check light was back on. Midwest Peterbilt doesn't seem to know what the problem is and they have no problem nickel and diming me for labor This problem should have been resolved and after spending $56,920.77, plus lost wages and motel costs l am extremely frustrated that there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Why isn't Midwest Peterbilt mechanics brain storming with other mechanics to figure out the problem?? It seems to me that they just want to collect a hourly labor fee without doing anything to fix the problem. My company does not have an endless supply of cash and we cannot afford lost wages and risking the loss of our contract with our vendor because Midwest Peterbilt can't figure out the problem. I feel that Midwest Peterbilt should compensate me for three days motel fees, my lost wages and their labor costs charged to me $2,418.00 for not fixing the problem.
