Csg Forte charge a $25 return fee on April 11th 2025 labeled "spectrum return fee" to my ********************* account and stated they are unable to reverse waive or refund the $25 fee. Spectrum cable also does not see the fee on my bill but allows a one time waiver to the fee if they were able to see it per the back office billing team.I am requesting it be reversed or refunded back to my ***** Fargo acct ending in 1375. My husband, *************************, and I have contracted with Right Choice Construction to complete a roofing/renovation project on our home in **********, **. An initial payment for materials and to confirm the contract was agreed upon for ******. Right Choice Construction made an ACH withdrawal of that amount in two back to back pulls from our account on April 30, ************ and ******). Confirmation of that withdrawal from our bank, ******************* is attached.Nearly two weeks later, on Friday, May 10th, I was informed by the owner of Right Choice Construction, *******************, that the payments platform he used - CSG Forte - had placed a 90 day hold on our money. In short, our project was at risk of being placed delayed due to the funding hold. I read some concerning reviews about CSG Forte online and decided to reach out to them to inquire. The process of trying to get my money back from Forte or trying to get it delivered to Right Choice Construction has been more than frustration. I have never spoken with the same representative more than once and was given a phone number to speak with someone in "leadership" that led to an unclear voicemail where I did not feel comfortable leaving any personal information. To date, now nearly 3 weeks after the $****** was pulled from my checking account by Right Choice Construction, they have yet to receive the funds. CSG stands by their 90 day hold, now stating that the hold is due to the merchant's account no longer being active. I have explained that I have no concern for the merchant's account, only for there whereabouts of my money. CSG will not provide me with additional or accurate specifics, nor refund my money.My concern is that $****** has been pulled from my account by CSG with no guarantee or confidence from me that they will give the money to the intended merchant. I have asked for CSG Forte to refund the money to my checking account via ACH if they are not going to give it to the merchant immediately.Business Response

I am writing to formally complain about a serious issue with CSG Forte, involving unauthorized charges and a disturbing lack of response to multiple inquiries. Over the past six months, my account has been charged over $600 monthly, totaling an unauthorized amount of approximately $3,600. These charges were applied without my consent and in clear violation of our initial agreement.Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter directly with CSG Forte through their supposed customer service channels, my efforts have been met with disregard. Communications sent on January 7, January 16, January 17 (twice), January 19, and February 2, 2024, have either been ignored or insufficiently addressed, with no substantial explanation provided for these exorbitant fees (Ticket: *****************************************************************).This conduct not only reflects a breach of trust and contract but also indicates a potential pattern of deceptive practices aimed at defrauding customers. The failure of ********************** to engage in a meaningful dialogue or to provide a transparent account of their billing practices has compelled me to seek intervention from your esteemed organization.I urge the Better Business Bureau to take immediate action against CSG Forte for their unethical business practices. I am seeking a full investigation into this matter, followed by the imposition of appropriate sanctions, a complete refund of the unauthorized charges, and a public acknowledgment of their misconduct.Business Response

We started a rental division and signed up with Rentvine software to manage ********** files. They use CSG Forte for payment processing. We were initially approved and then after a few weeks declined us. In the interim, they were collecting payments from our tenants.Now that we have been declined, they refuse to return the funds they collected and we cannot pay our landlords! their email stated that we can "request a release of the held funds on 1/4/2024' the funds 'will remain held for a minimum of 90 business days. They are destroying our business and these seem like illegal business practices.Business Response

Date 09/19/2023. CSG Forte sent me an email regarding a phone call that was place to their business. I have never spoke to this business and I have no direct connection with this company. Another company, ***************************** who have business with has a partnership with CSG Forte for payment processing. My merchant account was comprised when a caller posing as myself contacted CSG Forte asking about billing issues. This phone interaction was documented and I received an email with a ticket number of the phone call. I have called CSG Forte four times and demanded a response on why I received this email of a phone conversation that I never was a part of. I feel that my merchant account that **************************** has with CSG Forte has been breached and compromised. I have received no call backs from CSG Forte.Business Response
