I purchased an insurance policy with my kubota excavator and it was for the full 60 months of the loan , I damaged the machine and turned in a claim. This was submitted within a month of the payoff. **** sent me a letter informing me the that the policy would expire on 11/20/23. The denied the claim saying it was paid off early. Now I have no coverage for the damages that I occurred. I still to this day do not have a letter of payoff. After spending hours on the phone with **** and Kubota credit they would not help me. I have purchased several pieces of Kubota products but this will be the last on as I will now change to their competitors. I also reached out to ***** Equipment in ****** ******** and they will not address the issue as well. ***************Kubota Tractor Corporation

Per the election of coverage offered as part of the retail installment contract entered into on 11/20/2018, the customer's insurance policy remained in effect for ****************************************** full. ************** contract was paid in full early on 10/20/2023 and the insurance was cancelled due to pay off. The letter received by ********** was auto generated informing him of the upcoming maturity date of 11/20/2023 and cancellation which would have occurred on this maturity date. However, the pay off occurred prior to the maturity date resulting in the cancellation.
Upon notification of the payoff, an insurance agent attempted to reach out to ********** on 10/20/2023 to sell an annual policy for continued coverage. However, ********** never responded to the agent's voice mail. A claim was subsequently filed on 11/7/2023 with a date of loss of 11/4/2023 after the policy had been canceled resulting in the denial of the claim. Kubota Credit Corporation would also like to point out that any pay off documentation is sent within 30 days of pay off.Review fromRichard W

I have read and heard that their larger tractors are good machines, but I'll never own one after owning my GR2120 lawn tractor. The number of design flaws and parts problems I've had with this machine in the 8 years I've owned it are ridiculous. Parts just randomly break, mower blades come loose, My machine has just under 500 hours on it, and I've spent, in parts alone for repairs, not counting meticulous maintenance stuff, is well over a thousand dollars, and probably closer to 2. This machine was delivered on my 65th birthday, and I expected it to easily outlast me, as it replaced a WheelHorse tractor that had been used for well over 30 years. Poorly engineered, a nightmare just to put the deck on after taking it off for routine sharpening and such. A fuel filter located in a place that you have to be a contortionist to even see, and it's only one of 2.. It cuts grass OK when it works, but can't come close to comparing to the quality of the WheelHorse, whose deck ran on the ground rather than hanging under it. The diesel engine should be just broken in at under 500 hours, but the rest of the tractor is a complete nightmare. This is not a premium lawn product by any stretch of the imagination, and I used to cut lawns for years to put myself through school, so I have experience with premium lawn care products. If you have a quarter acre property with a smooth lawn and want a halfway ********** at the price of a top quality machine, this might be the product for you. Personally, I would be ashamed to be associated with a product as poorly designed and poorly engineered as this one. A lawn tractor should be a dependable implement, not a lifetime occupation to keep running. I had boats for that when I was younger and this thing rivals them as a waste of money, time and effort.Kubota Tractor Corporation

When we were ready to pay off the loan, I was told by an employee that we should wire the payment, and given all the wrong info to do so. The wire got returned... minus the $40 that got taken out for the 2 wires, back and forth. We are also out the original $20 wire fee which was altogether un necessary to begin with. On the next business day, we successfully paid it off on the phone for free. I have waited on hold for hours to speak to a supervisor....no one came.Kubota Tractor Corporation

My boyfriend purchased a $75,000 skid steer and was financed through Kubota Credit Corp. It was a no interest loan and they gave him the option to skip payments during the winter months. So he did in fact skip a few payments because he could not find work during the winter months. They never told him that if he did skip any payments the remaining balance was due as a balloon payment once the loan hit maturity. He received a letter dated 2/7/23 stating that he still owed $6,500 and that as of 2/27/23 if the balance was not paid it would be sent to collections. He made a $1,500 payment on 2/6/23. On 2/22/23 he made another payment of $1,700.I called on 2/23/23 to make a payment of $1,000 and the man I spoke with refused to take the payment stating that it was almost in the collections stage and I needed to make a payment of the remaining balance due. I told him that a payment was made the evening before with no problems and that the letter stated the date of 2/27/23 as the final payment date.We asked to speak to a manager and after 10 minutes were told that one was not available.Definitely seemed like they were trying to not take a payment so they could come and repossess said machine so they could auction it off for a bunch more money that would be all profit for Kubota. We ended up calling back and getting another representative to take the payment.I work in accounting. I have never told a customer that I would not accept a payment regardless of the amount. If the customer is trying to make payment it shows that they are making an effort to pay off their account.Kubota Credit Corp does not want to work with the customer at all.Kubota Tractor Corporation

So your KCC's response is for the customer to reach out to them so they can look into the issue. That's a laugh and a half because we have called multiple times in regard to this issue and gotten absolutely nowhere. On 2/24/23 the final payment of $3826.06 was made on the account. ******* from KCC said the account was paid off on 2/24/23. But on 2/27/23 KCC said there is still a balance of $405 due for miscellaneous charges and collection fees. It never went to collections as the balance was paid 3 days before it was to go to collections. I spoke to **** who is supposedly a manager yesterday 2/27/23. He said he would look into it and call back. But a call back was never received. The loan was paid off before the collections process was supposed to take place per the 2/7/23 letter from Kubota Credit yet we are still being charged various fees for no apparent reason. Seems like you are trying to make sure that there is a balance due so you can repossess the machine and double your profit. This needs to be resolved asap or else an attorney will be brought into the mix.Review fromChristina M.

1 starMy husband bought a tractor from a kubota dealer in ** and we have been paying on it faithfully through my husband's cancer journey and his death. I remained making payments calling and discussing when I was late. When money got tight around the holidays I fell behind on payments and asked for some help from them they said the put me on a hold for 2 months and I could resume payments after. Then they didn't actually put me on a hold because they repossessed the tractor even though I had talked with them less than a month ago and was working out payments with them. And they lied to me about why they were taking it blaming my deceased husband for not doing something to put me on the loan telling me even if I was up to date they still would have taken it. And the only option is to pay it off completely. So they took the tractor from a widow with 5 small children who was going to use it to help bring in money to support her family after the husband who has been the sole provider for over 10yrs passed away from cancer. So no I can't recommend a company who would be so heartless.Review fromZiad K

I took my recently purchased scl **** mini skidsteer to a local Kubota dealer because it had a manufacturers Defect and was leaking coolant and overheating . This dealer said it should be covered by your warranty. After the job was done and the repair was made the dealer tried to submit the repair to Kubota but the system would not let him. After I reached out to Kubota customer satisfaction they said ********************** will not cover it because this dealer isnt supposed to work in this specific machine. NOW I HAVE TO PAY A $950 FOR THE REPAIR OUT OF POCKET TO GET MY MACHINE BACK. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO TALK TO WARRANTY DIRECTLY OR COVER A WARRANTY REPAIR . I HAVE 5 KUBOTA MACHINES AND AFTER THIS INCIDENT I WILL NOT BUY KUBOTA ANYMORE. I WILL ONLY BUY FROM A COMPANY THAT HONORS ITS WARRANTY ANS I WILL BR TAKING THIS MATTER TO COURT!!Kubota Tractor Corporation

In March of 2020 I bought a B2601 Tractor and ordered the backhoe attachment. It is Now Dec 2022 still no backhoe attachment and Kubota says they don't know when I will get it and cannot offer any updates. If Kubota would have told me this when I purchased, I wouldn't have spent 18k on equipment I cannot use for my intentions. Kubota had no problem at all taking my money for something I cannot use the way I want. Problem is I called a dealer in ********** who had 10 of them in stock, yet I can't get one in ********. Kubota CS and Dealer is useless and could care less about my needs as a customer. My recommendation would be don't buy Kubota.Kubota Tractor Corporation

Dealer ************,Please accept our apologies for this situation and for any inconvenience it may have caused you. The entire global supply chain continues to experience immense pressure because of stresses caused by COVID-19 and related supply chain/transportation issues. Please be assured that Kubota and your dealer are working together to provide the best information possible. Unfortunately, because of the supply chain disruptions, it is sometimes difficult for Kubota to supply your dealer with accurate ship dates. We understand this is not ideal for our dealers and customers and are looking for alternative suppliers and other ways to improve the situation. But hopefully this at least gives you some clarity on why Kubota is unable to provide accurate shipment dates. Because your dealer has a complete list of products they are waiting for and how many customers need the products, your local dealer is still in the best position to provide you updates on when your product will be available.Review fromFred P

Please never buy a Kubota zero turn. Most repairs have to be done only at their shores. They are very costly to repair. The store in ***** charged me over $2400 in repairs for pulleys. They stopped working again. The ***** store said they will fix it under warranty the 2nd time (which was within 3 months). They charged my card another $500 plus dollars!Kubota Tractor Corporation

Kubota's warranty is intended to cover defects in materials or workmanship. If your local dealer has determined that the work needed falls outside of the Kubota warranty then any charges would be billable to the end user. We would suggest that you reach out directly to the dealership for an explanation of the charges and resolution to your concerns.
