      Actually a terrible place to pre-order new games from. From sitting for an excruciatingly long hour on the phone waiting for customer service, I had to be moved to a line to talk to a manager, and only then, was I told you could only use gift cards to pay for pre-orders in stores. You'd think that the way the online store is designed, would tell you this or reflect that in the payment info section, but it never rejected my putting in my two gift cards. A day before the game comes out, I'm told my order has been shipped, but I check my email again after getting home from school, and it says my payment did not go through. I check my **** gift card balance, (because I don't trust using my actual credit card online) and both the original down payment and the rest of the payment for the game were charged on the card. I'm here, getting mixed signals about whether or not I'm getting my product or not, but I just hope their reputation for not giving a s*** about release dates (or anything else) is true because they shipped this game about weeks before they were supposed to, it's been tough trying to look at social media and not accidentally have the game spoiled for me. Their live chat with customer service is always never online, the customer service emails you send them never get responded to in 24 hours like they promise, albeit at all. Do not recommend it. Go buy from literally anywhere else, you will definitely have a better time.

      GameStop has the absolute worst online customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a brand new game for full price and they sent me an open copy and when I called they assured me it was new but I said I like to have my games in the factory seal in case I like to sell them one day. I have a large collection and I don't get to everything. They sent me a message that basically said if the item isn't scratched that GameStop considers it brand new. I returned it and they sent a replacement which was the exact same thing again except the open game was in a loose plastic sleeve that they put it in themselves. They sell "open box" games as "new" and there's no where on their website that states anything about it. I've ordered games from every major online retailer and and many sellers on **** and I have never got a new game that came in an open box after paying for a new copy. On **** the game must be sealed or has to be listed as open box or used. Why is that ok for GameStop to do? They've sent me the wrong items 3 times and I've never had that happen anywhere else. Items that they have in stock on website will be really out of stock and they process orders anyway, take your money and leave the order in limbo until you call and actually get a real person to respond about how they have no idea why it happened (yeah right) and then will cancel the order that you really wanted. The only positive about GameStop is that the in store experiences are always good and the employees are nice and helpful. But brick and mortar game stores are on their way out anyway so this problem is only going to get bigger.

      Watch when you come to ********* **** location, depending on the worker they will have you waiting in line for 15 minutes while talking to people that are not buying anything as soon as they see who I am I get side eyed by them just be on the lookout for fair treatment if you are African American.

      I ordered three PS5 games on 8-21-22 that were guaranteed to arrive by 8-25-22. On 8-29-22 I still had not received them and they were for a bday part on 8-27-22. I checked the tracking number provided and it said package awaiting **** pick up which means it was still at the warehouse/store. I called customer service and the gentleman in fact told me that the package appears lost. I said it never left your facility. He the. told me my option is to have the games re-shipped or a refund. I asked when the games would arrive if I chose to have them re-shipped and could he expedite it for my inconvenience. He told me there was a 10 to 14 day investigation period And then another 7 to 10 business days to ship them after that so were talking almost a month. I couldnt help myself but did laugh out loud. I said what if I chose a refund instead. He said they would do an investigation that would take 7 to 10 days and then I would receive a refund. I told him that said This is absurd business practices and Ive already waited eight days (4 days past the promise date), missed the BDay party gift and now you want me to wait another month to receive the games for an error you guys made? The customer service agent said yes thats correct. I said this is my first time ever purchasing from GameStop online and it will be my last please refund my money. I would definitely steer clear from this place and stick with a more reputable will ran company online. This agent offered me no relief, no offer to speak a manager and simply no help at all.

      I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought a refurbished cell phone that was bad. I sent the phone back because it was not working correctly. I contacted them on 7/27 (according to ***** the phone arrived 7/21). I was promptly told my exchange was being processed and they were still within the estimated time to exchange this. Fast forward to 8/11 and I had not heard anything so I called. After 20 minutes on hold, Im told the phone wasnt received. File a police report and get with *****. WHAT? I was lied to, never even contacted that there was a problem. I was just patiently waiting for my exchange (because they told me it was processing) Ive chatted, called, begged and pleaded and GameStop basically responded with tough, we arent doing anything for you. They wont even respond or offer any type of resolution other than maybe ***** can help you. Terrible terrible terrible. Im so let down, I always thought GameStop was better than this. I have no phone and im out $420.

      My complaint is with the gamestop credit card. I have been a customer for a long time and got a credit card with a Ps4 purchase for a particular game. It has been going well pretty much up to this point minus a few times where their credit card machine would not accept their own credit card. However, the new updates to their website it has been a pain. You make a payment on same day it does not show processing even though they claim if it is sent before a certain time it is processed and applied to your account. I do understand that it can take up to four days for it to come from the bank account. It was explained to the customer service rep when called but they kept saying that the payment was showing being made. I kept saying why does it not show it being processed. They only had the four day rule which was not what i was asking.It was when you made a payment same day it was credited to your account before a certain time and yes you waited for it to be taken out of bank account. Apparently not anymore or their website is having issues. Not sure why I keep dealing with this.

      Horrenodus customer service....I received a jumbo funko pop which I was so excited for and when it arrived it was extremely damaged and the top looked like someone took a bite out of it. They are extremely rude and do not care about the customer when I tried to get a replacement they said they could not and so I am very angry with this customer service

      The company is absolutely garbage not only do they treat employees like s*** but they pay less than 80% of other jobs and threaten an employees job for force the rewards account down customers throat or get fired work short staffed at every store with unreal expectation for sales that only **** off customers because 5 other places sell it cheaper treat employees like s*** unless they get the rewards account

      Purchased $400 Worth of merchandise from company I received one package delivered by **** other was delivered by ***** never received package from ***** if theft was the case in which it was I wasn't even able to get an serial # rto file an report refund nor any kind of help with this situation. so I pretty much lost on 200$ no one can account for. Contacted ***** and they wasn't able to help either

      Well same thing happened as the others Im reading on here. Placed order get tracking number and the day its to be delivered nothing. Im told it must be lost in transit. Would I like to reorder or a refund. I asked well can I pick it up at the store its a birthday present. Told no they cant do that????? Why the helll not???? I will never shop where agai! And hope they go out of business. No customer service skills what do ever!!!!
