      Tried to purchase a game back on Christmas and it errored and never made the order. I panicked at first because it emptied my gift card, but was assured that it would be refunded. It was the three different times I attempted over the next couple of weeks to order the game (I assumed the Christmas rush to buy games was the issue). Well on February 8th, I tried again and received the same error message. I wasnt going to fight with it anymore so I ordered a game on the ******** store. I got an email on February 14th confirming my order and sending me my code. All customer support would give me was a reworded version of since it was a digital code there was nothing they could do, though they acknowledged in writing the charge was unauthorized. Although they first tried to say if there was an error in their system, it wouldnt go through but it did, they changed to acknowledging it was unauthorized when I sent a screenshot. I have been a long time patron of GameStop but never again. Id file a claim with my credit card company if I wouldnt be out the gift card too.

      If you order something in a store, be prepared to wait a long time for service.If you order anything online, be prepared to receive junk - broken parts, wrong parts, dirty orders. And good luck getting a refund. They ship late and then declare you past the refund window. Im currently on day 39 of waiting for a refund for receiving a broken order. Support a local business instead - this company has completely fallen from ******

      I have ordered a brand new item from GameStop and they never shipped it. I just needed my item. They advertise as 1-3 day shipping. But my item never made to the shipper. I have emailed and contacted GameStop multiple times and they never respond. I called them several days and everyday they tell me to wait till tomorrow. Then they say they will open a lost ticket but we never get that far. My money and item is gone and no idea if I ever will see it again.

      You **** and I will bad mouth you everywhere I can for your awful customer service! I bought my son a pre owned XBOX X from the GameStop in ******* MA for Christmas. He turn it on yesterday for the console to be ban by XBOX because it was stolen!!! I called the corp off and all the are willing to do is have me trade it in and pay for a different one!!!! They sold me a STOLEN XBOX and want me to pay for their mistake!!! Are you kidding me!! I have reached out to the local news station to let them know how they are treating me!! I also reached out to the attorney general of Massachusetts!! Lets all ban together against this ************ If we all refuse to purchase anything from them they will have to close down!!!

      Bought a console for My son for christmas. It stopped working 4 days after the return window! **************** and in store refuse to help because I didnt purchase warranty. I dont want my money back. I just want an exchange. I should not be dealing with an xbox that went into error mode already! All aspects they are unwilling to help. *** never experienced this poor customer service before. I will never give my money to them again, and will be sure to let everyone know how they wont help unless youre a pro member or purchased extended warranty. Id understand if it was months past, even a week past but a few days?! come on.

      ***** delivered package outside apartment building instead of inside. Front door is located inside the building. Someone stole the package and GameStop refuses to give me a refund. I did everything I asked I made a complaint to *****. I even did a police report as requested. Only for them to tell me that I wont get a refund at all, but they couldve just told me this a month ago when I initially contacted them. Will never be their customer again after 27 years.

      Horrible I would never recommend to anyone ever again as long as they are open and it is incredibly sad that such a big name company would do this to people who have less than them. So no one makes my mistake heres my story i decided to order a PS5 as a gift for Christmas on 12/09/2024 and was told to expect it on 12/12/2024 and I received absolutely nothing I gave them until 12/14/2024 and called I was told by them to declare the package lost in transit which I did and stated I wanted a replacement but then I thought wait the same thing might happen so I call and cancel on the same day and the person I spoke to said it was for sure canceled. Now lets go to 12/18/2024 I get a message from the postal service saying that they have my package the one I cancelled 4 days prior they did a horrible job as well I did not receive it until the next day at 1:00pm prior to receiving it I called my bank at 9:00am and they gave me a temporary credit and when I returned the PS5 at my local GameStop I was told the bank would take the money from my account as soon as it came in so I left it there. Fast forward to 1/11/2025 I get a letter saying that the bank is removing my credits due to the reason that GameStop proved that I received my package so I called them and they said they would give me my money back on the 1/13/2025 the same day the bank would withdraw so i transferred my own money to make sure my bank wasnt left in the negatives because I could not count on GS at that point and as my instinct told me I did not receive anything I call GS and they tell me to go to my local store they have to declare it shipped or received I go they tell me they cant do anything and bounce me back to customer service well I go to the bank they say they cant help me as Im there I get a call from GS saying the PS5 is received and I should have gotten my money that was yesterday Today 1/15/2025 I have yet to see a dollar and they have the PS5 plus my money.

      Today 1/9/25 Ordered 12/13/24 Christmas presents, never received them. Supposedly 1-3 days that Id receive. Waited patiently had to shop on Christmas Eve, so my grandson would have a gift. Asked for a refund 12/26 & still waiting!! Sadly Ive been shopping there for years. First online purchase and LAST!! Sounds like everyone should know about this scam and BS.Truly unbelievable!****** in PA

      Purchased 2 used ps5s as a Christmas gifts for my kids at the beginning of November. Went to the store and the man working had to order it for me since they were out of stock. Recieved them at my home a few days later and put the unopened box to the side. Wrapped the box on Christmas Eve just for the kids to open on Christmas morning and 1 of the game systems doesnt work. Contacted game stop immediately and was told I was passed the 30 day return windows HOWEVER, since it was defective out of the box they should be able to send me a return label. Waited almost 2 weeks before having to find out the request for return was denied. So now i am screwed out of almost $500 and my child is out of their Christmas gift. The one thing he wanted more than anything. Thanks GameStop, for ripping us off at the worst time of the year. DO NOT PURCHASE anything from them without checking it over very thoroughly.

      They take your money and dont give you your purchase. Ordered on 12/17/24 an Xbox , 1-3 day delivery . Delivery was suppose to be 12/22 . The item never left facility. Had no problem taking my money .i called 5x , emailed 5x and no response all representatives lie and do not get back to you . One rep told me my refund was on 12/17. When I called 12/22 to say it never left them . If you call from a number not in their system they answer and say your refund is on its way . This is fraud and they need to be accountable .
