      In April I called to get an extension I was told I need to pay a little over $300 in order to get the extension I made the minimum payment i was told they would send a request to a supervisor for approval I called back to make a following payment and according to the representative nothing was processed as the previous rep did not do the recorded auth I received no notification no follow up so on my credit report it shows I have 4 late payments even tho I am current and not late I did dispute this as I was advised to do by them and they declined too update it which is not fair as this was not my fault 4 late payments is 100% inaccurate i paid my bill each month but it kept lagging behind due to their error I have no late payments as I was up-to-date on my bill prior and if not the extension change should have covered it any late payment they reported was due to creditor and agent error and they acknowledged it but said I needed to dispute to change it as they have since resolved the extension issue but not my reported late payments should be removed immediately from all reporting agencies such as Equifax Trans Union and Experian

      On August 4, 2022, Exeter Finance LLC ("Exeter") received notice regarding a complaint filed through the Better Business Bureau. Exeter would like to thank ******* ***** ("*****") for the opportunity to address the concerns outlined in the complaint. Exeter's success is based on customer satisfaction with our products and services, so the issues presented in this complaint are taken seriously and every effort is made to provide a prompt and equitable response.

      Exeter's records, including recorded phone calls, were reviewed. Exeter is unable to substantiate *****' claim that if a payment of $300.00 was made an extension would be processed as stated in the complaint. On April 27, 2022, ***** acknowledged that the account was not eligible for an extension as one was granted on the account in February 2022. ***** wanted to set up a payment plan that would include a payment of $380.00 to be made on *** 15, 2022. At this time, the Exeter representative explained that due to the account delinquency, payment arrangements could not be set that far out; ***** was advised to call back on *** 1, 2022, to set the payment arrangements.

      Exeter has determined that the information reported to the credit reporting agencies is accurate; therefore, no adjustments are necessary.
