      July 28, 2024 I purchased a battery for the 3rd time from batteries plus. The original battery ended up being a bad battery which was replaced and it last less than 2 years. I then returned to the store because my car was not starting and I checked the date of the battery and it had Jan ************************************************************** it was bad. The manager looked it up and said that he could sale me another battery but could not swap it out under the warranty. I ask him how long do batteries last if you say 24 months shouldn't I get the 2 years. He looked up my account and said he would have to call his manager because he saw where I got $60 off my last battery which does not make sense because they person that sold me the battery honored a online price. However they should be honoring the warranty but he stated the warranty is only on the !st battery this does not make sense 2 batteries and neither lasted 2 years. The person that replaced the battery said the battery post was bad. I told him I would go get a new one could he replaced it he said no but if I get it replaced bring the battery back and he will see if the battery is still bad. I did that and went back he said he put the battery on a charger and it was still bad. I believe he just did not want to have to refund me after I had the battery post replaced he then started blaming the dealership and it could be a alternator not know all that had just been taken care of. Why is the warranty not carried over if the battery is replaced and no one told me that when they replaced it last time.
