      This company has no idea about its customer accounts. I called to get a payoff quote and was told my loan was paid off, obviously I argued with them because I knew better. I asked if they had sold the loan or made a mistake, the lady on the phone said they received a wire transfer for the full payoff. They sent me a Paid in Full letter and refunded my escrow and unapplied funds by check. Naturally I deposited those funds. The payoff was completed May 21 by unknown source, I could never get answer other than completed by wire transfer. After depositing those checks I received an email from my bank that those checks were returned for nonpayment. Again through this whole time frame, we are now at June 23 there has been no contact from Mr ******* I called and spoke to someone today and expressed my concerns with the way they do business and advised them that I will be speaking an attorney about this issue. If I was living from paycheck to ******** this could have ended horribly for me at my bank, luckily that was not the case. My point here is simple, do business somewhere that has proper communication with their customers and knows exactly what is going on with your account at all times. Our loan originated with **************** and was sold to Mr. Cooper. I definitely suggest finding alternative financing other than this company. I will never allow any future funding I have go through this company.

      Very unhappy to be sold to Mr. cooper. So unhappy, we refied at the same rate just to get away from them. They have misallocated my payments so many times and it takes forever to get it fixed. This last time they tried to say we were late on our payment and going to report us. The payment was there and they again misallocated it to extra principle. So it made it look like we miss a payment. They have told me over and over this will not happen again and then the next payment we are back on the phone trying to get a person to fix it. If we are ever sold again to them, we will refinance the day we find out to get away from them.

      Do not get involved with any part of this company. ALL automated call in system you will be so frustrated just trying to get to a human. It is the insane that any company for the sake of profits does this. This is where we are all going wow! WE are in trouble. Mr. Cooper has NO EMAIL that makes any sense to find how to contact them in times of trouble. Simple things cannot be fixed. You will be charged!!! Good luck fighting anything if it goes wrong. You have been warned. Tell eveyone you know~ Stay away from this Mortgage Lender they are headed int hte wrong direction. WE as a Nation of people who care about people can have better busiensses than this. Automated Crop Company. I am actively working on removing our mortgage that was purcahes in the secondary market by this c*** company. I hope anyone working for them can get out. Peace.

      This company is absolutely neglagent on their business and proceedures. Not one side of the company clearly communicates with the other and nothing is ever resolved in a timely manner. Personal Example: They paid a tax amount that they never recieved a bill for then paid taxes again when they reiceved the tax bill PLUS a late fee with two months of each other. When I called this to their attention on April 3rd (yes had I not noticed it would have not been corrected) they started "working" to correct their mistake. This led to an escrow analysis with a shortage that I paid. They have proceed to continue to run escrow analysis after escrow analysis for no reason. (10 total since their mistake was called out) Conintuing to fight this on June 20th... ABOLSUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY!

      If I could leave zero stars this is what this "no brick or mortar office" deserves I have 2 recorded conversations in which I was advised by so called customer service of the following:1. My May payment was higher by over $200 dollars than the contract we signed 2. I begged to get a supervisor on the phone to have an ok to get the additional $200 plus dollars together but I had to wait 48 hours or more as no supervisor was available 3. I asked the *** if the $1269.61 would post for May without the additional $200 and after an 8 min hold all she would say was yes 4. The payment showed taken from our bank but never applied to the correct Month 5. Now on top of being late the following month statement reflected 2 months were do on top of late payments...6. After I made additional calls to get a supervisor the previous conversation didn't matter, nor the fact that we had asked for help several times 7. The "so called supervisor" didn't seem to care about what had transpired earlier, and only noted . No apologies, nothing

      Such a terrible Mortgage Company!Let me start by saying I am spammed with emails and mailings regarding escrow loans since Mr. Cooper purchased my mortgage from Home Point Financial in late 2023. Although I also did not care for Home Point, I did not get the spam emails and mailings from them. It is constant. If I wanted an escrow loan, I think I would reach out ********* mortgage payments are sent from my bank bi-weekly. I round up, sending extra to my principal every month. It took months for them to actually apply my mortgage correctly. First they put everything to mortgage, then everything to principal. I begged for the ability to apply my mortgage as I saw fit and they claimed they did not have that option (now all of a sudden they say the option is available, but I have yet to be able to do so). I have payments that sit in unapplied funds for the entire month until someone decides to apply it somewhere. So this year, 2025, our escrow decreased but I continued to send the same amount, more toward my principal. Twice in the past 3 months they applied everything to my principal and nothing to my mortgage! The most recent time I contacted them on 6/10/25 to correct their error, as of today 6/13/25 this error is still not corrected and I still do not have the ability to correct this on my own! I am so frustrated. So far this has not reflected negatively on my credit report but if it does Mr. Cooper will be in the hot seat again! I am not surprised that Nationstar was forced to rebrand after being sued if this is how they do business. This is a trash company that does not follow directions from customers and does as they choose with our money. I wish they would not have been allowed to rebrand; this would have prevented them from purchasing my mortgage.If you have the ability, stay away from Mr. Cooper!

      Funny. I spend hours chatting with live agents and have been doing this since April 2025 usually on a bi-weekly basis. I had a hierarchy place on my account in the past to pay my mortgage then put a specified amount ($7.62) to my principal each month. That worked fine until my mortgage payments decreased in March of this year and the hierarchy was not followed as instructed. My mortgage payments are so messed up. My last monthly payment was recorded on 4/24/25. Since this time my payments have randomly been applied to principal, mortgage payment or even just sit in unapplied funds. I contacted Mr. Cooper on June 10 and attempted to get this fixed. I was assured it would be corrected within 10 days. Low and behold, when I logged in on Saturday, June 21, 2025 it was even more messed up than before. I attempted to fix this, but many of the payments were stuck and I was unable to applied them where needed. So I contacted today with a listing of what was incorrect and what needed to be corrected. The representative told me to email them the corrections to be applied. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? No, I requested a supervisor. It has been 14 days and my account still does not show a payment since April and my next payment shows due on July 1 but should not be due until August 1. ********** said he will send to the escalation team to get it fixed.The whole time we are sitting here thinking our mortgage is being paid and Mr. Cooper is misapplying payments to random areas. We shall see how long this saga continues.

      Mr ********************** is the worst mortgage company Ive ever had to work with and Ive owned multiple residential and commercial properties. Their practices are certainly unethical and designed to fraud the public.
