      This company is a disservice to love ones who try to stay connected to incarcerated family members. Their system is too sensitive and filled with algorithms that challenges communication with the people you love on the inside. And they don't care. Reviewed a call and did not detect any reason for it to disconnect. Possibility excuse provided for dropped calls is maybe your fan or TV is too loud or sometimes it's a voice in the background. Either way there's nothing that can be done. They pride themselves in letting you know you weren't billed for anything extra. But fail to show empathy when what is supposed to be a 15 minute call with a loved one turns into a 93 second call that disconnects due to alleged third party activity. My fan! And that inmate has to wait until their next opportunity to speak to their loved ones, kids, spouses, parents etc. This phone service is a joke that likes to bill you $0.11 per minute, drop your calls so that additional calls would need to be placed.

      Employees have no idea how to use their own website. It took me an hour and a half, 4 phone calls, numerous long holds and my own thorough investigation of the website to figure out the reason why i couldn't use the request contact or set up a visit. I had old contact requests from the person currently incarcerated that were declined because he got out of jail before we had a chance to use the service. After an over 6 minute hold, NCIC rep told me I couldn't make an appointment because my picture and driver's license were declined. This was 100% false. Then when I added my card info to add money to the phone/chat account, hit the proceed button, I got a red box saying "server error". I hit proceed again and get the same box which now says something about a "duplicate transaction". So which one is it? I had to call back. This rep says only one went through and they were updating whatever. She acted as if my concern was unnecessary. Yeah, no problem, trick me into getting multiple charges on my cars. In the end, when I found the contact request denial, I had to call back. The 3rd rep tells me only the jail can change that. Unreal. The first rep should have seen that an hour ago. When I called the jail, the officer had it fixed before I ended our call. ZERO STARS. NCIC needs to do better training.

      I have been trying to get a refund from this company for a few months. I call them regularly and receive a different response each time. At first I was getting my refund back on my credit card in 20 minutes, next time I called they said they did not have my name and address to mail a refund check to. Next time it was going to be expedited and I would receive a check in 4 weeks. The last time I was told it would be 90 working days to receive a check. The people I talk to are extremely unprofessional and very deceptive. NCIC is an inmate messaging service contracted out by the state and needs to be investigated. I recommend everyone not to use their services.

      Bad management and insufficient service! Highway robbery and too much money spent!
