    Date of Transaction-May 21,2022 Purchased Certification to scuba dive Complaint: Called after purchasing telling owner (*****), diving below 10 feet water pressure hurts ears. She gave me lame idea how to dive and won't hurt my ears. Did not believe her for nothing. She told me she could only refund part of amount because a number is assigned to each on line course. I never went on line to start course. Emailed PADI, told them scenario about what was going on. They were kind enough to remove the assigned number, emailed me told they got it off so dive shop would refund total amount. Forwarded all emails to dive center. She responded 2 times, have both emails. Second time she said I did not have to come into shop to get refund. I came into to shop, she was locking up, :54PM. She sent second mail next day.I have emailed here, called her, she won't answer phone, left messages, she won't call back. Last friday, went by place of business to talk to her, business has moved. Googled showed it moved to ******************************. Went there, old Midland ************* no one there. Have the reciept for $703.63. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. I am emailing her, and will text her as well tell her am filing complaint since she will not return calls, texts, or emails, she has forced me to go this route.I do not have file on laptop, be glad to send photo of receipt.Sincerely,**********************************

    ******** came into our shop and purchased the Open Water Course with out hesitation. When he called in regards to concerns about his ears and clearing issues, he was informed that during the class we teach our students how to properly clear their ear during scuba diving. We offered to allow him to come to class and try the equalizing of the ears per scuba diving, he informed us he was not ready to give up and would come to the class and try it out before giving up. Day of the class he called and informed us that he was not going to take the class and wanted a full refund. He was informed of our policy and was told that he would be refunded per the policy. Refund was issued on 6/10/22. He has since made every effort to twist his story around to make us out to be a bad company. This is the firs customer to have any issue with out company or policy since we opened doors. This individual is just out to cause and issue and feels that twisting the truth is the way to get around policy. He harasses the shop on a daily basis there for calls and email have been blocked so that we can focus on clients. See attached refund receipt. Below is a copy of our refund policy that has been in effect since 2014. 

     

    Refund policy as per our older conversation: 

    Books must be returned in the original package not used. 
    DVD's must be returned in original wrapping. 
    Gear must be returned not used if used it will be accepted at a reduced rate. 

    Refund on classes: 
    Once **learning code has been issued if a refund is requested it will be the cost of the class minus $199. After ***************************************** non-attendance you will only receive store credit for the cost of the class minus the **learning code or books. After 60 days no refund will be issued.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1-Story not twisted, kept it the same. Was wanting to do this, remembered about ears. ***** and her c*** and bull story about the pressure in my ears. Yes, was going to give it a shot, however her story made no sense.

    2-Harass? I had to call CC company to verify a "deposit" was made, not the full refund either. Yes she deposited 503 dollars and some change, not the full 703 dollars.

    3-I have the emails, she only replied to me once about refund and obviously it was after the deposit she made. Was never notified that a deposit had been made. Probably because she did not refund the full amount, isn't that right *****, your a thief and a liar. Harassed, hey you lying heifer, had you responded to any of emails or texts, I would have not needed to keep trying to contact you! Now, you have kept $200 back of full amount, that makes you a thief. She's a liar, going by everyday, flippin liar!!

    4-She will not do right BBB. This will not be resolved until the other $200 is resolved. This can stay on her record for being crooked. She didn't want to talk to me because of her crooked ways.

    5-She avoided me because she was not doing right. She told me the day I purchased course she would not do full refund because a "Number is assigned to the course I would have taken on line". Got that resolved from ****, have emails. They removed number off my course that was not used. So *****, you have NO excuse for not refunding the full amount.

    6-Maybe she had to move BBB because she couldn't pay for reaping off being crooked.
