1 starMy 87 yr old mother woke up to no hot water 4 days after getting out of the hospital. She called my brother telling him the hot water tank went out. He then, called Bosworth with the same info. They came out and discovered it was a slab leak. They left and sent someone else. We went with a different company that was more reasonably priced. My mother is now getting billed for $320 from HOURLY charges! Apparently because there was an assumption of the issue, the call went out as a repair, which is an instant hourly rate. Since their 2nd ****** actually, did something, I could see the charge for but the first one? Not so much. *** 2 UPDATES TO THIS REVIEW. Worth the read if you want to know how this company operates.****Update #1 - my mother received a phone call from the Operations Manager, *****. he was very apologetic over the way things transpired and very understanding to the situation. He confirmed the charges HAD BEEN waived as a courtesy. He also, requested I remove my review. ***Update #2 - My mother was told 2 months ago the fees were waived. I discovered she is getting PAST DUE NOTICES! I called the billing **** and spoke to ***, was told she would speak to ***** and call back. A week went by so I called again, and was again told she needed to talk w/ ***** and would call me back. ANOTHER 10 DAYS GOES BY W/ NO CALL. I called back for ***, she said she emailed me! Why would you email when you said you would call back?? She sent the bill showing $0 due, nothing else. Summation: Why email when you said you would call? Why say you waiveD something when you didn't? Why avoid the issue when it is brought to you? We would have gladly paid one of the charges as the second ****** who came out, actually, did something worthy of an hourly rate. The Bosworth company is NOT an up-front Company when it comes to rates/ charges.Review fromMichael W

5 starsThinking that there was something going on with my Water Softener I called Bosworth as I have done many times in the past. As always, they were quick to respond to my call and quickly identified the issue, unfortunately it was not my Water Softener but a slab leak off the Water Softener. Once the issue was identified by an excellent Leak Search, the next ************ jumped into action and solved the issue with the needed repairs and minimal damage to the floor in my garage and outside where the leak was coming from. They successfully resolved the leak and finished the job in a single day. I was incredibly pleased with their work and will continue calling The Bosworth Company for all my plumbing and HVAC needs. I cannot say enough good things about the service I receive from and will continue to receive from The Bosworth Company. The cost was as estimated by the plumber, so I was not surprised when presented with the final cost of the job. I have been calling The Bosworth Company since 2011 for all my plumbing and HVAC needs, they're the best and always my first recommendation when asked who to call!Review fromMary D

A/C went out in 90+ degree weather and your tech made me feel as though I was his only customer and I knew his day was full. **** was very professional and completed his job with ease even though it was really really hot. Service was quick and efficient in unclogging the drain line, however the high cost was a shock with the technicians only being there for around 30 minutes.The Bosworth Company

A simple 1 man job deteriorated into multiple technicians and helpers on premise; 2 trucks and 5 technicians at 1 point with a lot of loitering around doing nothing. Multiple observations revealed a "helper" standing around holding a screwdriver. This was a simple 1 man job. Performed "repairs" on areas that did not were not broken. Technician admitted to replacing the wrong pipes then went on to replace the intended pipes. There was nothing wrong with either of the pipes; were perfectly ****************** freeze an unnecessary repair froze solid.Total bill $4,167.00. Giant rip-off. I sent Bosworth $1,465.97 and a letter itemizing the rip-off. That document is on-file at Bosworth office. Please read it. Call from Bosworth manager:"What can we do for you?" My response: "Leave me alone." Bosworth is still billing me and threatening to turn me over to a collections gestapo if I don't pay.Bosworth Company is a big city company that moved into small towns and currently performing unneeded repairs and billing huge amounts to its customers. REMEDY: Leave me alone, cease billing me. You'll not get one more ***** out of me.The Bosworth Company
