They constructed a commercial metal barn for our equipment on our construction yard. Its sturdy, well made, and was done in a reasonable amount of time.

We had a carport put in. The carport itself is great. However, the lady that sold me the carport said she was sure of the dimensions we needed, When it was being installed, the boss worker said it is going to be 3 feet short on one side. That is how she ordered it- too narrow. I still have to call Star Buildings office and discuss the matter. Not good!Star Buildings and Carports

1 starI hired this company approximately 15 months ago to build my metal building. I noticed that I had a leak coming from the rook in several spots. I called them and it took several months to get someone out . I also noticed the screws that they used was all rusting. They scheduled a visit on a Saturday, I set there all day and no one showed up or no phone calls, for several weeks. They scheduled another visit and the guys showed up on time. They informed me that they would just coming to check it out. The 3rd crew came out and witch were the guys who installed in the first place. They showed up late and worked after dark removing all the screws to put the same size and type back in to rust out again.. I also have a lot of rust forming on my tin and rusting it out. I informed them and showed them pictures. They said to the dust on the building it would void the warranty out. The ****************** has been in a drought for months and the building sits next to a gravel road. So when people drive bye and wall of dust that comes up..Review fromJames W

1 starWithout question, this is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. I placed my order for a 30' x 40' metal garage on 6/2/23 and received a call from Star the next day to go over the details of the order. At the time, I was asked if/when my slab would be poured and I advised the representative that the pad was scheduled to be poured on 6/5, which it was. I was told to call back after the pad had been poured, and on 6/6, I called Star to let them know that the slab had been poured. I was told by that representative that my garage would be built in approximately 2 weeks and that Star would call me a day or two in advance to confirm the address and building configuration. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing from Star, so I called them again and asked the representative if they knew when my garage was scheduled to be built. The representative told me that the construction scheduler was preparing the schedule and that I would receive a call from him, with a construction date, by the end of the week. The week passed and no call. So, I called again (on a Monday), and was again told that someone would get back to me within the week to provide me with a build date. This same series of events has gone on for the past 5 weeks so I spoke to my local dealer and explained what was going on. I had mentioned to him that unless I received a firm construction date by the end of the day, I would cancel the order and go with another company. He called Star and was assured that I would receive a call by the end of the day. Late that afternoon (on a Thursday) I received a call from Star and was told that they would begin constrctioin of my garage the following Monday (today). It's now 3pm and no one has shown-up and no one answeres the telephone at Star. I will try calling again tomorrow and if I don't received a firm build date from them, I will most certainly cancel my order. This is the absolute WORST customer service I've ever seen. 1 starWe have yet to make our first payment and have reported multiple leaks on a brand new roof. They came out and claimed to have fixed it and that was a false claim. We now have over $2,000 of ruined subfloor and flooring from rain pouring in. We have been in contact with the company that connected us with them, our lender and Star buildings and there has been no resolution.The other reviews on this site have the same problem so that makes this a pattern!!STAR BUILDINGS AND CARPORTS, YOUR WORK ETHIC AND BUILDING SERVICES IS BELOW SUB PAR, YOU OWE EACH OR YOUR CUSTOMERS QUALITY WORK!IT'S PAST TIME FOR YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!! WE HAVE TRIED TO WORK WITH YOU BUT YOU HAVE FAILED AT GOOD FAITH WORKING ETHICS. SINCE I COULD NOT POST WITHOUT PROVIDING A STAR I GAVE A ONE STAR RATING THAT IS STILL TOO HIGH FOR THIS COMPANY!
