In November 2023, a friend told me about using this lender to purchase a building. I was informed that apart from the cost of purchasing the building, I could apply for repair money as a loan as well but that I would only pay interest on the portion of such money I collected. Surprisingly however, in February 2024, I discovered that this company was billing me interest on about $70,000 that I had not collected yet as part of the repair money. I contacted the company's CEO, ******************, who told me that the person who attended the closing on my behalf signed that I would be paying interest on money that I did not collect. I then asked for the payoff information. This was sent to me on February 29, 2024. I immediately paid off this loan and I instructed ****************** to stop any form of transaction against my account since the loan was paid off. Surprisingly, this company refused to close the loan and started piling more and more charges against me. I got a lawyer involved but this company still continued adding more charges against me and then threatened to foreclose my property which I paid off completely. Despite paying off the loan by February 29, 2024, this company still demanded that I must pay additional $7,700+. My lawyer advised me that if I decided to sue this company, I might end up spending about $40,000 in legal fee with no guarantee of a positive outcome. But a company like this should not be allowed to continue preying on fellow hard working Americans.
