      Account number #***** A sales person came to my home on June 23rd 2023 and began telling me about their product. I told him it sounded interesting but that I already had a pest company. He began telling me about how they (the other company) werent any good and how Romex was better. He told me he could have a technician come out Monday (June 26th) I assumed that was for a consultation because he (the sales person) said that he was just the seller and a technician could answer my questions better, at no point had I signed up for any type of service. I gave the sales person my email and phone number for any further communication. I later received via email a contract for 12 months of service with my initials stating that I agreed to the service and would be liable for payments even though I never gave any sort of payment info. There was a squiggly line in the customer signature section with my initials and the days date. A signature that looks nothing like my own was forged and placed on a contract that I had not agreed to. The contract also stated that if I tried to cancel the service that I would be charged $250 and if I refused to pay that it would be sent to collections and any attorney fees would be on me to pay. I never signed up for a service, I simply agreed to meet with a technician on Monday (the 26th of June).

      I went into a contract with this company to rid my home of ants (primarily in my dogs food bowls). After the contract period ended, numerous treatments to my home and a thousand+ dollars - I still had ants in my dogs food bowl. They did not do what they said they would do and when asked to waive the last payment for them breaching their contract with me, they refused. They wanted full contract payments from me or implied that my name would go to a collection agency. I made the last payment as I was standing over my dogs food bowl writhing with ants. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere as this is not a pest control service, it appears to be a gullible consumer control service. For what it's worth, everyone I worked with were nice and professional - they just failed on every other level.

      Do not waste your time with ROMEX. Horrible service. Their pest control is ineffective both inside and outside. They had to come back and retreat multiple times and after my last service which should have lasted quarterly, had wasps and active ant hills less than a month later. They told me I had to sign up for a new service for them to come back out. Why would I do that if it didnt work initially. Awful customer service.

      DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. Have had a horrible experience with this company. The salesman signed me up for service with an initial, and then during first service they hold a tablet out for you to sign, they don't give you the opportunity to read anything, the tablet doesn't print out anything, and while you are signing they are yipper yammering in your ear about scheduling and info on the product. Nothing was ever mentioned about a cancellation fee. After the first service I set out some non baited traps to see activity levels and all appears to be normal. The techs just keep showing up, knocking at door as asking to do a treatment. I'm now on my 4th service which I have declined and now I'm being told there is a cancellation fee. Raymond (retention manager) was very unprofessional and rude when dealing with my problem. I asked to speak with his boss, which caused him to hang up. I then spoke to a Brad ( account manager) who informed me he was not going to waive any cancellation fee, or really help me at all, because as he said "Principle of the Matter" was why he was not going to help me resolve this without outside involvement. When I asked for his bosses name and phone number he refused, so now I'm seeking the owners phone number or someone in a higher position of authority in ROMEX to help with my problem. I plan to follow-up this review with other review sites as well, and the Veterans Community. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ******** signed me up with an initial. At the first service they bring a tablet, without print capability, for you to sign,without actually, giving you the tablet to read what you are signing, they hold it while explaining some things while omitting others. After the 2nd service I was done with it, their product wasn't doing anything noticeable. I setup non baited traps a couple days after their service and it had all the normal crawlies. They now tell me if I want to cancel I'll be charged a $250 cancellation fee, which was never told/explained to me when I signed up or I wouldn't have signed. Apparently I have 3 services left, they have reduced my rate down to $90 ($270). I still don't want their service and will be attempting to contact someone above the people I've spoken to already, which was ******* (retention manager) extremely unhelpful, unprofessional, and hung up on me. I called back after being hung up on and spoke to **** (customer service representative) and asked to speak with someone higher up then **** and ******* (retention manager) **** (account manager). **** was extremely helpful and transferred me to **** who basically said he was the highest person in the company capable of dealing with my problem. After asking about 10 different times for the Name/Phone number of someone higher then **** he told me he was not going to provide that information nor was he going to waive the cancellation fee. I told them I would be filling this complaint along with reviewing them on most/all social media sites and the local ******************* On top of this they have charged me $250 cancellation fee already, then refunded it, which will take time to process....I do not recommend them, encourage everyone to stay away.

      Im having to go to every federal regulatory agency and my state attorney generals office to dispute this company. The company is out of ************** ** but has their locations in ******* ** and ******** **. They promised ** one price and then charged another. The service is poor quality and does not get rid of the pests they state it will. When you try to cancel they then inform you of a $250 USD cancellation fee . This company will displays deceitful and predatory sales practices and now I have to take time out of my day to address this. My account contract number is *****.
