1 starHonestly great concept if they didn't hide the pricing and charge so much for photos. $200 for an 8*10 is insane, ***** for a photo package thats college tuition. I wanted to treat my daughter to a wonderful fairy shoot and figured I could buy the photos maybe $100 bucks and this would be a treat for my daughter since we are not well off and definitely don't have hundreds to burn on some photographs. I feel just so disappointed as I thought it was a great opportunity to treat my daughter to something I wouldn't usually get to. We signed up for one of the $25 photo session and any company should know if you are offering cheaper photo sessions for the less fortunate that you shouldn't blindside with $200 photos after. I really wanted these photos and can't afford and now this company owns them and who knows how they will use them. I will warn anyone before taking their kid to a photosession. Most people can't afford hundreds or thousands for some pictures of their kid let alone a 7 year old. I don't care if the photos last FOREVER. I just wanted them to share with our family since we live so far away and I can't even do that. ALSO they copywrite the photos so you can't even share them via a picture or anything. The whole thing is just disappointing and really sad considering myself and other parents are just trying to do something special for thier child.Review fromMichelle M

1 starThe photographer was really sweet! The experience charming for my daughter. We all enjoyed seeing her dressed up and it was a wonderful family day for all of us. The after/ sales person once the photos are processed (or partly processed, because they do show them to you only partly processed) was awful!! She used a script, followed it to the letter, so that you couldn't interject or tell her "thank you. I can see the packages, and I can already see that I can't afford them". She wouldn't answer my questions directly about what the end goal of all that marketing and the process of 'choosing my favorites' when I knew I couldn't afford a package of 25 or whatever was. She at one point threatened me with ending the call for my so-called "non cooperation" with her. Keep in mind that I simply mentioned that I didn't have the money for all this, and my daughter was sitting there with me excited for the big reveal, and could we please use the time left in the call to enjoy looking at the pictures. It would have been ok for her to tell me 'I can't do it like that. But I have about 20 minutes of time set aside for something kind of like that". She talked over me, so that in the end, both our voices were raised. And she was basically holding my daughter's one complimentary photo that I'd been promised hostage by threatening to leave the call and by forcing me to choose more and more and more narrowed down packages when I knew by then that I could only afford the 'complimentary' one, which isn't complementary because you do pay for the shoot.I'm amazed that she really thought that all of this would lead to me buying a picture package worth $3,500 minimum (their lowest offer). Wow! they need better training, more empathy, and an understanding that when its clear the customer can't afford it, you need to just let them enjoy the rest of the process of viewing the pics so that at least their general experience is positive, they can recommend , and don't leave reviews like this!!Review fromJacqueline R

1 starThey are not upfront about the cost of the photos after the session (which already cost $200). I was dumbfounded when the first package they reviewed was $15,000. You read that correctly. $15k! The least expensive package was $2500. A single digital print is $500, for ONE. I told the woman we were working with that I was in complete sticker shock and had I known the cost upfront, ** never have proceeded. I was told they have a section on their website called, investments. It must be inn the smaller print ever because I couldnt find it. In total, with the photo session, I paid $412 for TWO 8x10 photos. Save your money.Review fromMariah H

The time, detail work, highlight work, and artistry added to those portraits vary greatly. Some are extremely time intensive and can take up to 6 months to commission.Families who book a session with our studio get a free 8x10 that we give as a thank you for donating to **********. If they are thrilled with their experience and decide to purchase more, great. If they dont get anything else, also great. Thats fair right?Its true that some people arent satisfied with just ******** Enchanted Fairies Limited Edition Portrait they receive for no cost, as a gift from our company.Its also true, we have 1-star reviews and *****% of our negative reviews have to do with the priceWe also have ******+ 4 and 5-star reviews from clients who love their session with our studio, love that we donate to organizations in the community, and love the artwork they purchased from our studio.We just had a phone call from a client from 10 years ago raving about how her daughter still talks about her birthday when she got to experience the Magic of Enchanted Fairies. She is WHY we only offer the best quality from start to finish. Can you imagine if we cut corners in her magical session?Would it still have been her favorite birthday?What if the portraits from her favorite birthday were printed on cheap materials and had already started to fade just 6 short years later?Ive read the reviews from the other companies who put profits before clients customer service thats unreachable, orders always arriving late, books where the binding is coming undone, photos printed tilted on the page vs straight, no warranty, and the list goes onI would rather apologize for the price today than for the lack of quality and your unhappiness forever.Thats not how we want families to remember their experience with our studio 10 years, 30 years, or even 50 years in the future. The company is sent up for you to pay ***** for an 8x10. The pricing is unaffordable for a working class family. The pricing is hidden until after the photo session. 1 starAs most have said , the experience was beautiful and my daughter was so excited and couldnt wait until she seen her magical pictures. Got the review zoom and we were very much pleased with even the unedited photos. My family was on the zoom review as well. Some could talk but the main person was muted, her father. The presenter agreed to let me call him to get approval to buy the very expensive picture package and to email her right back when ready to purchase. Got the Affirm card ready to purchase then the lady went **** Cant get anyone in the phone nor email. Our daughters pictures are in their possession and no telling what they are doing to them. They should be investigated. Using charity as a tool to lure families in is a shame and scam. Im fearful of studios now and will just rather learn to do photography and editing myself. Way cheaper that way and no one else would have my childrens photos. Bad customer service and price gouging at its best.Review fromJane M

Enchanted Fairies is a fine art studio, and we specialize in archival quality materials that will last a lifetime (in fact, we have a lifetime guarantee on all our artwork!) Our printing is done on a $1 million dollar machine, and there are less than 7 of these printers in all of North America. In addition, our expert artists spend time personalizing each photograph for a truly magical portrait of your family members. Prices are listed on our website under the Investments tab with more details about our museum quality materials.
How many of ** have faded mall department store photographs from our childhoods? It's our hope that by offering personalize packages, financing options, and a complimentary 8x10" Gift Portrait to every household that we can make the Enchanted Fairies experience available to every family. That's why our session sitting fees are only $25 per participant as well. We'd rather apologize for price today than quality tomorrow.

I saw an ad to apply for photographer job, was directed to sign up for scheduling a shoot instead by an associate. I said I thought there was a job opportunity and my mistake for misunderstanding, I wasnt interested in singing up to have my photo taken and that I was no longer interested. Im now getting so many calls, texts and emails from Enchanted Faries that wont end. This is harassment, dont go to this place for anything.
