On February 21, 2024 I had my 1999 Oldsmobile cutless towed to Midas to have the breaks fixed. They told me that they could fix it, and it would cost me $1,500 to repair my break, and breakline that would be done on Friday February 23, 2024. But every day after that my car still wasn't fixed they owner ****** said he was still waiting for parts. This went on for 2 more weeks then on the Saturday March 10, they told me my car was complete. I went in paid the $1,509 and drove home. When I got home I smelled gasoline, I looked under the car and it was gasoline pouring from next to the line they had just installed, so On Monday they sent a tow truck to pick my car back up, they said they accidentally broke the gasoline, and would replace it at no additional cost. So after that they called and said they broke another line under my car, and they would repair it at no cost. So this went on for a couple more weeks, then on March 15; 2024, they told me they had caused another leak in the front of my car in the *** system , and that they would fix it but I had to pay them $500 half on the car part. I said ok, then on March 19, 2024 I went to pick up the car, and it was sitting in the parking lot, the bottom of it hanging out, and still not repaired. They said because they couldn't find a use part I would have to pay them $1200 to fix my car they broke. They had my car for a whole month. So I took my car to another shop who said that basically the car would cost too much to repair, and I need to take it back to Midas because they clearly had caused damage to my *** system repairing the lines they broke under it. They said the only way to drive my car is to keep the break fluid in it. I didn't have any leaks in my car when I sent it to Midas, I needed new break lines, and that's it. They took my car and left me without a car, and now trying to charge me almost $2000 more dollars to fix a repair they caused. Before I took it to Midas I just had passed stated inspection.
