Fantastic customer service, response time, and price for services/parts. I contacted Energy Attic in June to discuss attic insulation due to my house unable to stay cool. ******************* came out and inspected my current insulation, informing me that this would not solve my problem. Turns out my 2015 Trane unit, which was "repaired and recharged" 4 times in the last 2 years by 2 other 4-star companies, was completely out of refrigerant, but not showing any signs of a leak from the "normal" locations. ***** was determined to find the source of this issue, digging deeper into the settings and diagnostics on the thermostat then any of the previous technicians. He also continued to search for leaks in the attic during 104 degree weather, despite pressures on his instruments outside being within tolerances. Bringing their specialist ******************************* on the second day of searching, they finally located a pinhole leak on the coil that due to it's location would require replacing.For context, one of the previous companies quoted a coil replacement but their salesmen kept pressing and the price kept changing. I opted to get a second opinion, and settled for a recharge. Enter the second 4-star company, who said that this unit simply wasn't charged correctly and no leak could be detected in the attic. Thinking I dodged a bullet, I paid the second company to re-balance and service the system. This at least got me through the previous 2 *******.With ***** and ******'s discovery, they quoted the same replacement coil roughly $2k cheaper in labor then the first company (and in a worse economy then the first quote). Not only was ***** determined to solve my unique issue, he was completely upfront and honest about all information. He was patient and explained things in a way I could understand and was comfortable acting on. As I approach the end of summer, my system has held up during record high days, maintaining over a 35 degree difference. I can't recommend this company enough.
