    My water heater which I purchased new and upgraded on 12/28/2020 for $1450.00 stopped working on 2/15/2025. My Rheem paperwork shows I have a 6 year warranty on parts and labor. I called Rheem and they overnighted the parts at no cost. They said to contact a local Rheem Plumber to replace the part. I located the nearest Plumber, ALLSTATE PLUMBING, 17 minutes away. They came out on 2/25/25 at 8:45. Two men. I opened my attic door for them to try and start the gas starter which they were unable to do. I had the replacement part ready to install. They quoted me $1200.00 which I absolutely refused. The unit brand new was $1450.00 and under warranty. The 2 guys stood around and waited while waiting for a response back from the boss, ****. After 15 minutes they came back with a price of $899.00. I am work from home and my login time is 9:30 so I had no choice but to pay the payment. I called back afterwards and spoke to **** to dispute the charge. **** said the charge of $899.00 was travel time, labor, time at the location and cannot be refunded. Please help with my refund. ********** *******-******************************************************************************
