    If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. This school is an absolute SCAM! Im on a payment plan, so every month I pay them $225. They tell you at orientation that they help you secure clinicals for the surgical tech program, but that is a lie. They instead, email you an excel sheet of all the hospitals in your area and you, the student, has to read off of a script Health Tech Academy supplies to you to try and get the hospital affiliated with them. Well, all the hospitals in my area will not allow me to do clinicals at their facility because Im an online student. I shared this information with them and asked if I could change my course study since I cannot secure clinicals, they expected me to pay them $255.00, after already taking $225.00 & explaining my situation. Mind you, it took over 5 days to get in contact with someone about this. I would not recommend this scam of a school to anyone.

    This company over charged me 500 dollars when I was supposed to be on a special fall promotion. Also they want me to call hospitals in my area for my clinicals when I constantly tell them that the hospitals dont want to be affiliated with them at all. So when I approach them about just leaving and a refund theyre forcing me to continue. When all I want is my refund and to be done.

    This company cannot give me any information as to where I can complete my clinicals, have continuously given me false information, and the last advisor I was assigned to asked me to do her job for her and contact hospitals near me and ask if the school I have already paid for, has a contract with these hospitals. The experience has been rediculous.
