      I was looking for an insurance company to get home insurance for my mortgage in September 2021, and I sent requests to several insurance companies. One of them was Goosehead. One year later, I received a letter from the collection agency that I had a debt. It turned out that Goosehead issued a policy for me without my acknowledgment and signature. So I called them to clarify the situation, and they told me one of their representatives gave a policy without my approval. At the moment, Goosehead representatives insist on signing some papers to cancel the approach I didn`t ask to issue. Even if I didn`t ask to give a policy and didn`t sign any documents, this company sent a request to the collector agency to charge a payment from me. Stay away from this scam.

      NOT an insurance company you should do business with! Spending 1/2 day on phone trying to speak with a manager. All they want to do is put you in line for a callback. They are NOT customer service friendly and only continue to recite their little script as to what can/can not be done. AND, they will not help in resolving your issue. They charged my credit card without my authorization BUT I cancelled the policy 21 DAYS prior to expiration yet they still charged my credit card. When I asked that they refund the charge back to my account they said the "carrier" would mail a check to ** in **** business days. WRONG answer!! You can't trust it'll make it through the mail system, so I asked that it be sent overnight. I could not get a straight answer from ******, the service rep; she just continued to read script. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! You can NOT trust them!!

      Very slow to do the paperwork. Don't do the complete paper work. Won't call back and finally I took my business somewhere else. Still they won't complete all the paperwork to do the cancellation (there is always "one more doc. To sign" for many months)

      Terrible customer service. My auto policy was cancelled because they changed my billing from auto bill pay to a mailed invoice. Then I had a 7 day lapse in coverage so my premiums went through the roof. Now dealing with a similar issue with a commercial auto policy. No clue if I have coverage. Been on hold for a total of 58 min now and hung up on twice. Their "chat team" is a joke. Biggest mistake of my life.

      Very similar issues to the ratings below me. They didn't send check for home insurance when we moved. Home insurance lapsed bc of it. Had a children's pool party unknowingly when this happened and are without home owners insurance. Home and auto got unbundled and auto got raised. Can't seem to get it resolved. Everyone ignoring every phone call. No one to talk to. No one to report issues to. The agent we've been working with yelled at me on the phone. It was so disrespectful. I had to hang up on him and no one has called me back since. He pretended or perhaps it was true his incompetence to not know the details of our situation that's been on going for 5 months because he is so aloof to his customers. Excuse after excuse. I had covid. I was out of town. Etc etc for months. Point is above the financial situation we've been dealing with, the agent and owner are nightmares. Selfish slimy scummy disrespectful losers. Stay far far far away. *********************** and ************** out of *********** ** are unprofessional individuals who don't care about their customers.

      Absolutely incompetent. They cancelled my insurance (with Tower Hill) ... no one asked them to, they just decided to cancel it. This caused my mortgage company to freak out and charge me $350 for missing insurance for a few days. Annnnnd then Tower Hill refunds me $617 for the insurance, right? But then turn around and send me to collections, and put two "paid late in collections" marks on my credit. Insanely incompetent. My agent went dark, no on reached out to me to let me know they decided to ask my insurance company to cancel my insurance. Stay away from these guys! I had to replace all the home owners and landlord policies I had with them.

      Agent lied about my policy (twice) and stuck me with fixing a windshield I thought was covered. Dishonest, unreputable company, can't believe they are accredited.

      I am furious. I made a payment to Goosehead Ins. For my flood insurance in August of 2022(due date). I get a notice from Progressive Insurance in Oct. that my policy is going to be cancelled due to non payment. I was told on the 5th of Oct. from Goosehead there was a glitch in the system and that my funds were going out over night express mail that night to Progressive. Oct. 11th I get another cancellation notice from Progressive Ins. I call Progressive and they had not received any payment from Goosehead. I have been on hold today(Oct. 12th) with Goosehead for 2 hours and just now told the payment did not go out overnight on the 5th it was mailed out 5-7 day mail delivery.. Goosehead has had over $600. Of MY money since Aug for over a month and I am getting late notices. What have they been doing with MY money???????? Not happy at all with Goosehead. Sounds like they have Goosehead running the company. Still on hold.
