1 starBEWARE!! This agency and it's agents are extremely rude, unresponsive and avoid calls and emails! Their online support is also useless as there is NEVER an available agent to assist. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. I honestly do not know how they're even in business.Review fromDiana L

1 starI would never recommend Goosehead's services to anyone. They are hard to get a hold of; no accountability when they make a serious error. Once you use them as agent you can't use the websites of the insurance companies, you have to go through Goosehead for inforamtion. It took me 45 minutes to get through to them to get information on my vehicle insurance. My home insurance with them is a nightmare, they billed my **************** for two different companies, therefore 2 large checks were mailed out of my escrow to Goosehead. I called Good but they were no help. Luckily after 1 hour my Mortgage was able to get them to see the error. I received a check from Goosehead after a month which in turn I had to send to **************** to credit back my escrow. They will not cancel my home policy with them. I have attempted for 2 years. My sales agent will not call me back or email me. This company does not care about the consumer.Review fromphil d

Not a very good experience with GooseHead. At first, ***** did a great job finding me an insurance policy that saved me money. Then when the renewal became too high they were nowhere to be found. I asked a few times to call me and let me know what options I have. He only had excuses. Never once did the guy actually call me back when I asked him to. I finally just found a place on my own and dumped them. Not I keep getting DocuSign emails for canceling my policy from other agents. I already did all that. ********************. Needs someone to take charge and straighten things out.

Absolutely horrible company. I got scammed into using them to to close on my home. They could not find our address to do an inspection and refused to give us the information to set up the inspection. Then they told us our policy would not be cancelled and turned around and cancelled it anyways in the middle of hurricane season. I have a call on a recorded line guaranteeing that our insurance would not be cancelled yet here we are. I would absolutely not recommend using this company at all unless you want to lose your entire home. And their rates are ridiculous. The worst company I have ever come into contact with and take pride in taking advantage of new homeowners. I will tell everyone I know to share this about this company via social media so no one will be in this predicament like us.Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC

1 starAbsolutely zero customer service. ***** A sold us on a bill of goods, I will take your call 24/7, always here for you.. After policy was signed not once has he returned our email or calls.We were immediately denied after signing up by Allstate because our tree was too close to house. Corrected the issue and was reinstated. When signing up they had wrong lien holder and we told them. They said, sign policy and it will be fixed afterwards. When policy was cancelled they billed $1300, but when reinstated they billed correct *** and to correct mortgage. Now some collection agency is trying to collect $1300 but we are paid in full. Cant get any representation, answers or service. Do not use this company!Review fromMatt M

As a first-time home buyer that purchased in December of 2023, learning the home-buying process was already stressful enough, but Goosehead Insurance and their representative, turned it into an absolute nightmare that I am still dealing with 8 months after I closed on my home. When I first contacted them, I made it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that I while I was interested in his services, I was ONLY quote shopping. Yet, shortly after receiving a quote, I started receiving actual policy documentation as if I had agreed to move forward with them, which I had not.After informing them that I was NOT moving forward with them and never approved this policy, I was informed that the policy was canceled and I mistakenly thought that would be the end of it, how wrong I was.For whatever reason, Goosehead Insurance sent an invoice to my title company for my annual premium, and at closing, those funds were sent to Goosehead when they should have gone elsewhere. I did not even know this took place until months later when my current insurance company notified me that they had not received funds and that I was now responsible for my annual premium to avoid cancellation, which I had to pay a 2nd time out of pocket.After discovering that the funds went to Goosehead, it took 3 months for me to receive my refund, after being told that a check had been mailed at least 10 different times.Even AFTER receiving a refund, has caused an avalanche of additional issues, such as shortages in my escrow account, policy changes, etc.While yes, I am happy that I received a refund, the ramifications that I am STILL dealing with from my chosen insurance company and lender, have caused HOURS of wasted time, headaches, and stress that would have NEVER happened without these shady business practices from Goosehead.I could go on and on in this review but am limited on word count, long story short, stay FAR away from this company unless you want to add stress to your life. Got a year insurance through them. They have not contacted me after I have called and left a message, emailed my agent, emailed the main websites. I went through progressive and above and beyond my year fee that I already paid with Goosehead I now owe an addition $200 dollars a month to progressive. Goosehead refuses to get back at me so I am unsure where to go from here or what to do? Anyone have ideas ? I will literally end up spending the double I would have.Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC

1 starWorst excuse of an insurance company stay away from this company they are crooks will take you payment and money but won't cover anything, they will send someone that won't ever even knock on your door then send a full denial, do not use them . 1 starRUN from these people. 1) They charge SO MANY FEES. Want them to shop for a better rate at renewal time? That'll be a $89 re-shop fee *per policy*. And you don't get that back even if you find better rates someplace else. 2) ******** services is AWFUL. I've been trying to get all of my policies canceled for over a month, meaning endless emails and many LONG calls. To this day (46 days after I told them to cancel), I still have two policies that aren't canceled. Every time there's an excuse "our system is down" or "there's one more form we need you to sign" or "the carrier's system is hard to deal with..." It's funny how they have zero problem signing you up, but lots of problems when you want to cancel. Save yourself the time and money and go to a REAL insurance agency with REAL customer service.Review fromVickie A
