      I have tried to get them to service my alarm system since October 2022. They continue to bill me. I want a refund for all charges since October 2022. I have attached my letter that I sent them.

      Unfortunately, this is not the first complaint we have had to address since dissolving our business relationship almost two years ago with *****************. 

      We at EV Electric & Security are not monitoring nor do we service your alarm system. Your alarm system was sold from IHR to *****************  several years ago. We were under a service only contract with ***************** for a short period of time. Due to no fault of ***************** or EV Electric & Security we were unable to service some alarms that were purchased from IHR. The person you spoke to was from ***************** and not EV Electric & Security. They were correct in telling you that you will need a new system. IHR did not release the alarm codes needed to provide service to any of the alarms that were purchased by  *****************. Our name should have been removed from any invoices and new contracts with ***************** should have sent out to you and others without our brand, to let their customers know, EV Electric & Security no longer will be servicing any alarm systems being monitored by *****************. 

      This is a concern of EV Electric & Security that your alarm is not working. We will pass this letter onto ***************** on your behalf. We will also speak to the service manager with ***************** to make them aware of your situation. We do hope they will be able to help you in a timely manner.

      Almost same complaint as the other one posted.

      I have IHR Security for my alarm monitoring system at a business since December 2017. IHR Security PO Box 245 Wichita Falls, TX. Some time I believe in the Spring of 2020 I had an alarm issue. Somehow EV security got my information and told me IHR is no longer in business. They wanted to change my service to them and a contract was signed but I believe they were not truthful to our company. The next week I found out what they said was not true and my same local alarm provider was still in business. Starting June 2020 invoices starting coming from EV. Somehow they took over our account. We never received information in the mail or other wise about the switch. In December 2020 IHR starts billing us again. Then in March 2021 we are billed from both companies. From March 2021 to March 2022 EV was billing us. Since then we have stopped all payments to both companies. After speaking with the monitoring station, EV stopped sending a signal for monitor our location on October 9, 2020. Still billing us for services they were not providing. On the phone EV is no help. Saying cancellation was never made. A change over to EV was never made known to us. EV is a scam.

      EV Electric and Security would like to apologize to Mr. ******* for him being another customer having to ordeal with the switch from IHR to *****************. The truth of the matter is, Mr. ******* never actually spoke to our company in the Wichita Falls area. We are confident, he spoke to IHR and/or *****************. Several years ago IHR sold some of their accounts to Alarm Funding Associates, who are now doing business as *****************. ***************** reached out EV Electric and Security to service some of the alarms in the Wichita Falls area. We have not been monitoring any of the accounts that we have provided service to for ***************** alarm accounts. On the invoices, ***************** does have our name on it, but they also have C/O to *****************. So when the payment is sent to the address on the invoice, it is sent to ***************** billing department. When a customer calls the number on the invoice, it is answered by an ***************** staff, not EV Electric and Security. Again, we do apologize to any customer that has been effected by the changes with IHR and *****************.
