Don't go with lumio the they are liars the sales rep will tell you things that are not true they were supposed to pay my electric bill off but that is not going to happen now because I didn't get it in writing although the sales rep took a picture of my bill it's been 5 months and solar is still not working I wish I would have read the reviews before I went with them my stupidity. I will be letting people on fb tik tok Instagram know not to do business with them anyone with a bad experience should do the same if I could leave minus stars I wouldLumio

Lumio is frankly a terrible company. We haven't even gotten our panel install scheduled yet and they've already completely botched everything related to the job - including the roof replacement we wrapped into the deal and they forgot to schedule. We're supposed to have the project fully completed in the next 10 days to qualify for all the amazing rebates and tax incentives and 1:1 power credit they promised us, and the roof can't even get on until then. So obviously this project is not what we agreed to. Worse still - each time we call (a dozen times now) they PROMISE a call back, this time will be different. Not one time have I gotten a call back. Each time someone tells me who my account rep is, it's a different name. Complete waste of time, and frankly predatory. They are genuinely liars, and we feel they are trying to cheat us out of what they promised in the sales process. ********* the contract now and contacting **********'s Attorney General about them. This is really not ok, and we don't want anyone else hoodwinked by this predatory company. People are excited to get solar and shouldn't be taken for a ride to try and do the right thing.Lumio

We have had a miserable experience with Lumio... which is still ongoing. 1. Make sure that ANY promises your salesman makes (including tree removal) is listed in writing 2. Make sure to get the name of your project manager, his/her email, and phone, so you can actually keep in touch on the status.3. Make sure that the placard required by fire code is with the materials of your system and not to have the city inspector come until you have it. 4. Make sure you know the process for inspection following the City/State and the length of time those things will take. 5. Accept that the wonderful people at the call center are merely reading account notes likely placed by your ghostly project manager, and they deal with frustrated customers just like you call after call all day because Lumio doesn't understand the mere basics of customer service.6. If you have a functioning system in less than 6 months consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky. Shop companies demand pricing, timelines, step by step process. If they aren't willing to provide those things and argue keep looking. Trust me after this experience, we will look elsewhere in the future. Also make sure your loan company DOES NOT pay them in full until you have a functioning system. Because they say they will reimburse the payments, but that is yet to be seen.Lumio

****** needs to be shut down, ************************ needs to conduct an investigation into this company. My son has been working with them since July and the company still hasnt completed the work. Continued lies! So as not to default on the loan have been making payments on a loan with where the contract has defaulted. Next step will be legal action. The BBB and FTC need to assist in protecting the consumer. These comments are based on my interpretation of discussion with my son and daughter in-law.Lumio

The whole process has had no communication with any of the people after we signed what they needed. From making sure they have the client's best interest is an understatement. The promises of them calling us back started getting into the 15 plus times. We had to call them on everything and anything since the lack of communication wasn't there. We had to get a new roof and rolled that into the loan. They told us we didn't need to do new plywood from the roofers. We had to tell them that they didn't adjust the loan accordingly, but they only told us they would give us the money back from the plywood. What about the labor as that is most of the cost. I've now been fighting to even talk to something that has a clue or what they can even share with me about the breakdown. I don't think they care after they get what they want. I just want to make sure they aren't charging us for something that wasn't done! But I guess that is too hard for them to do. What a joke and I would never tell anybody about this company besides the ****** We've been promised over and over again, without any reaching out on their part since we signed the agreement. Oh, also the roofer didn't reinstall our solar fan correctly, so now its leaking. FAIL in the communication and the lack of taking care of the clients is NOT okay.Lumio

Whether you're interested because you like the idea of reducing your 'carbon footprint,' because you like the idea of forking over less money to the electric company as they raise the rates again, and/or because you like the idea of having some power to keep the essentials running when the lights go out in your neighborhood, going solar is a real no-brainer. But how do you get in without a bunch of frustration, dismay and disappointment? Lumio! These people are truly genuine professionals, and I absolutely could not be any more pleased. It can be daunting when you hear sad stories of folks who went with a disreputable company and ended up with a partial installation, and/or hardware that didn't live up to promises. Well, I am just honestly grateful to God that we signed with Lumio. From start to finish, they delivered on their word, on-time/on-target, installing value for the dollar that not just met, but exceeded my expectations. The sales team was honest and clear with their presentation, the installers were professional, timely, and thorough, and the electricians who did the final provisioning were super-skilled, excellent professionals. The Enphase equipment they're installing is world-class, cutting edge, best-in-the-business. From start to finish, Lumio was committed to doing it right--outstanding, exemplary, sterling performers. That's Lumio! I could not be happier to be a Lumio customer, and I've recommended them to friends, family, and church members, because of the honesty and integrity they deliver. I have had nothing but stellar interactions with everyone on the team, so far. While we are in the infant stages of the process, everything and everyone has been forthright, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about their products. Everything that they explained made perfect sense to me and my family, especially if you care at all about the carbon footprint that you are leaving on our planet. I can't believe the lack of communication with this organization. I have THREE bills I am waiting to have refunded to me. I am waiting on the $1000 rebate. I haven't heard from ******* the salesman who assured me that they would "take care of everything and be there every step of the way."We failed our first inspection, sat around waiting and collecting ZERO sunlight. Why did I have to be the one to reach out and ask questions? Why was my account so low priority? If I could just cancel the whole thing and have them remove the panels, I would. It's such a headache. I have a chain of emails with the lack of responses that I would be happy to share. It doesn't appear that anyone there is competent enough to careLumio
