    In May 2023, my daughter and I registered and began making pymts for a group trip to Israel in March 2024. We took out the insurance on the trip in May 2023 also. Insurance cost was $50.00 ea. We remitted pymts totalling $2,800.00 ea. On Nov 24, 2023, I emailed company stating my physician had advised against my traveling and I provided a copy of my physicians' written stmt as well. Ins policy states ". . . if you must cancel your trip due to illness . . . pre-existing medical condition . . . you can cancel anytime before departure and get a full refund 100% of insured trip cost." On Nov 25, 2023, I rc'd an email response stating that refunds processed via insurance could take up to 3 months. In the same email, Mike L***** stated it could also take 12 months for refund. On Nov 26, 2023, we rc'd an email stating ". . . we will exercise your insurance policy . . ." On Jan 13, 2024, rc'd an email stating ". . . we will start your claim to the insurance close to departure date . . . Please note after starting the claim it might take up to 45 days for the funds ti (sic) be available from the insurance . . ." An add'l email was rc'd on same date stating " we are processing your request and your refund will be issued by check and sent to your address by end of January . . ." On Mar 7, 2024, I emailed the company, expressing concern w/the lack of communication and asking for an update? Response rc'd was ". . . we are doing our best . . ." On Aug 17, 2024, I emailed company stating we had rc'd no refund. Response rc'd was ". . . we are looking at your file. We will send u (sic) updates on Monday about your file case . . ." On Aug 12, 2024 I emailed again detailing previous contacts, lack of updates from company and lack of receipt of any monies toward refund. No response to that email has been received nor any refund.
