    I booked (and paid for) a single King room with a pet through Orbitz.com on 10/4/2024 for that night with checkout on 10/5/2024. When I checked in, they requested an additional $60 deposit. I was not told how it would be returned. I learned, through reading reviews, that you had to show up in person to get your deposit back, as there is a small sign indicating that deposits must be physically collected by hotel staff by noon and are forfeit after midnight. I went to the desk the next morning and I did get it returned at that point. Others have not been so fortunate.
    The room did not have any chairs (not even an office chair for the desk), no lamps, no phone, no pictures. The furnishings that were there, a desk, a dresser, and a fridge, were falling to pieces. All of these items are in the hotel's online photos and in good repair, so I was not happy about the barrenness of the room. Additionally, the door leading out to the dog-walk area from my pet room could not be accessed with my key and I had to go through an indirect route to return to my room.
    I had also gotten my daughter a double queen room for $120 (also with an additional $60 deposit) which she reported was as barren as my room.
    I have never stayed in such a poor quality room at a such a price. The staff were nice and the barren room was clean, but if I had known about the deposit and that the room did not look anything like the advertised photos, I would have stayed elsewhere.
    False advertising and possible deposit ripoff.

    Called the front desk to complain about the shower head had extreme bad water pressure. He said that's not a problem. So I asked if they had a plug for the tub. His response was no. Then he said if I want that then go to California. To me that's 100% disrespect to your guest.
