      Company shipped me a broken item. I returned via local *** store while replacement for item was in process. Replacement item was the exact same broken item repackaged and shipped in the same dilapidated box. Still fighting for refund. I will never order from them again.

      ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! I have 7 items in my order that were marked up almost 50% after the finalization of my order from the original price listed when I added the item to my cart. I contacted the chat agent and they refused to speak with me on the issue and disconnected the chat when I called them out. Absolutely unprofessional thieves!

      Overstock.com has moved to selling on the ******* website. They are falsely advertising product to get you to buy something that appears cheaper than everyone else then will send you something totally different. I purchased a dehumidifier and received an electric fireplace. They hope you won't make the effort to return it so they tell you that it needs to be dropped off at a *** store when you can in fact use the ******* return to have ***** pick up the product. I didn't realize Overstock.com had turned into a scam company. Watch out for them. I will not be doing business from them ever again.

      The company used stall tactics to impede my ability to return a purchased item. There is difference between poor ***************************** service and purposely conspiring to keep consumers from returning products. Do not purchase any merchandise from this company.

      If I could give zero stars I would but thats not an option. I ordered a 10 ft x 12ft metal storage shed and received an 8ft x 10ft metal storage shed. I called them to let them know and was told it was now out of stock so I couldnt get the correct item. Instead they told me it was correct and to assemble it. Starting assembling it and it was in fact the wrong product. Then they told me I had to box it up just to get a refund which is ridiculous. I did that and scheduled a pick up with *** was told by the agent that my money would be refunded when it was picked up. Never got the refund so contacted them again and was told that it would take 3 to 5 business days to refund AFTER it was received at their warehouse. Terrible ***************************** service and misinformation given from this company. Spent hours on the phone just to get my $800 back after they sent me the wrong item. Will never use their company again they are not doing right by their ****************************** and their ***************************** service desperately needs serious help. Their ***************************** service is a complete joke

      No quality control . I received two matching chairs that were almost $500 each . One of the chairs was in perfect condition, the second chair had different colored legs. The seat was totally redone and re-packed so it sat higher than the matching chair. The underneath section of the seat has a zippered storage area that is completely torn apart. I contacted the company and they told me to box it back up, call *** and have them pick it up. If I want a replacement, it can be ordered but I will have to wait the same amount of time as I waited for the two previous chairs they would not expedite the order. they told me they would give me $57 off but that is all they can do. To go to more trouble of boxing it up and waiting for *** to come because I dont want to miss them during our lunch hour when we are closed and to get only $57 is poor ***************************** service. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes to talk to a supervisor and they never came on the phone.. I will never shop with Overstock again. Wayfair would never treat a ***************************** this way!

      I ordered barn doors my landlord said no to me putting them up. I called to ask how to get a refund and ask how to ship them back. The seller said I can get a $150.00 refund after paying $700.00 for the doors and stated they couldn't find my order. Now they are telling me they won't give me a return label to return the doors and it's not their problem. I have heard so many excuses from the company. This company keeps giving me the run around and they keep telling me I'm past 30 days for a refund. No one will help me and I have told them I'm contacting the better business bureau and they act like they don't care. The last email I received they were very disrespectful and rude.

      Overstock allows other sellers to market items on their platform. There is no oversight of these sellers, no reporting mechanism and no back up guarantee. Sellers do not respond to buyers and there is no recourse. Sellers can simply change the buyers name on their side to (null) and the Overstock return function cannot be used. Other platforms allow sellers to be reported. Overstock doesnt even have this issue listed and theyre not monitoring them so its like buying things off *********** Horrible business practices that are exploiting buyers trust in Overstock.

      My oven broke. Enter Overstock. I ordered a toaster oven to get to me in a reasonable amount of time to remedy my kitchen woes. I was so thrilled to see my package was Delivered, when I realized my package was delivered to my old addressone that is 17 hours away. An address where I do not know the current resident. Overstock refused to refund me or offer me anything other than a measly $12 gift card. Overstock insisted (in an extremely scripted fashion) that their system would not allow free shipping or a replacement without confirming the condition of the packageso far away from melanding on the doorstep of a complete stranger. 4.5 hours of customer service led me absolutely nowhere, other than a $12 gift card that would not even cover my hypothetical shipping to my correct address. They wanted me to pay more money out of pocket to get the *** to ship the package back to them. I dont want to pay more money to these people.

      First, I spoke with ***************************** Service and the issue is being resolved. However, I am irked by the situation. The brown and ivory rug that I ordered has the following ID: *******. The rug that I received had an ID *******************************. You can actually see through the wrapping that the rug is rust and beige. Someone placed an Overstock label on the wrapping indicating that the enclosed rug was brown and ivory. This is an obvious and unacceptable lack of quality control. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that I have experienced the same. I just had to return a rug that was supposed to be ivory and brown. The "brown" was made up of black and khaki strands that resembled grey. Additionally, the rug had several loose, pulled strands. I have shopped with Overstock for many years, but have become disenchanted of late. I hope that the company exhibits more concern for their ****************************** and enacts appropriate policies and procedures.
