      January 17th, 2023 I ordered a 67" acrylic tub for $946.07 - GREAT price! I received an email on Jan. 25th with a photo and description of the product saying the order would be late. Yesterday, Feb. 7th I went onto the website to check my order b/c I'd received no updates. The order number I had pulled up a COMPLETELY different tub, it was 59" and a different shape but had the same order number and the same item number as the tub I had ordered!! And it said my order had been canceled due to being out of stock. #1. It was the wrong item and I had an email photo and description to prove it wasn't what I ordered. #2. The correct tub was in stock when I ordered. I reached out to chat with ***************************** service. The first time after making my case for 30+ minutes, I finally emailed over proof of the change in the item, and the agent stopped responding. I tried again. This time I spoke with a diff. CS agent. After describing the issue, He TOLD ME I ordered a 59" tub and it was out of stock. Wrong. I protested that I KNEW what I had ordered. He stopped responding. I log into chat a 3rd time (!) and speak with the (same name) agent again. I showed him that the tub I ordered was in fact still available, only now it was $900 more, he insisted multiple times that the 59" tub I ordered was canceled due to being out of stock. He REFUSED to acknowledge that I knew what I ordered, & would not offer anything other than "you can order the 'other' 67" tub you like since the 59" tub charges have been refunded." Then when I took a whole 4 minutes to respond, he ended the chat due to "an extended wait time." Obvious to me, Overstock wanted to get more for the tub than what they sold it to me for. WARNING: this company uses false advertising to hook you. If you order something, TAKE SCREENSHOTS that incl. the photo AND item # AND order #, b/c they will change those numbers to cheat and get more $$ from the consumer. Trying to resolve issues with ***************************** Service is an absolute joke.

      Ordered Tommy ****** Quilt and Shams...It says Quilt and Shams in the title of what I ordered, I only received the quilt. When dealing multiple times with ***************************** service, once being on hold for over an hour, I was told the shams had to be ordered separately, sorry, and the most they would do was give a 20% discount coupon. The shams cost as much as the quilt, complete misrepresentation, false advertising, and scam.

      Placed an order only to receive a coupon for 17% via email dated time stamp 2 hours before my order. Tried to get a price adjustment via their text service. Kept getting the run around on how the coupon was a thank you for my order. That email came in while I was texting the,, it was for 20%. The kept telling me they couldnt do a price adjustment. Almost an hour later and after asking for a supervisor multiple times, I said If I have to cancel this order and they immediately canceled my order. I redid the order with my coupon. Next day, I saw two shipments so I called and they were t able to cancel the first order. When the orders showed up, I refused the original order being very careful to confirm the right ***** tracking info. ***** was awesome. The package was returned to their dock on 1/26. 1/28 the shipping info on overstock shows both orders delivered so I text overstock. They say the will expedite the issue. I confirmed the order # and ***** # via the same text system. Today 1/29, I log in and they are marking the wrong order for a return (the cheaper order). Thank god this is all via text so that I have copies and that I paid via PayPal. AND they keep trying to tell me what is being returned is the one I kept and was clearly delivered. I want my $181.24.

      After I confirmed the order # each time I texted, they still kept telling me i approved the one they were crediting and I kept sending them screenshots that always confirmed with an order number. On all three calls I asked for a supervisor. Two ignored me and 1 said one wasnt available. supervisor. They have had the item since 1/26, I have ***** delivery confirmation and everything still says return in process. Only after saying I had already posted to the BBB and was emailing the ** Attorney General next did I get anywhere. I am still waiting on my refund and will never do business with them again.

      I ordered a high dollar/oversized item from Overstock on November 6, 2022. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my two young kids. After ordering, I gave the item 3 weeks to ship. I still had not received a "shipped status" from the company, so I started calling ***************************** service. Spoke with multiple representative who could never give me a definitive answer on what was going on with my product. They eventually admitted to loosing the order on December 8. The item was re-ordered with a compensation of $150.00. The item was still not being shipped after the second attempt at ordering, so I started calling again. At some point, the order was cancelled in the computer...no one could give me a reason. After again calling ***************************** service, I was given another $150.00 compensation for the item being accidentally cancelled. The item was again ordered on Dec 26 (ONE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS), with the guarantee from a representative (***** E) that it would be shipped on Jan 3. Once again, the promise of a representative was unfulfilled. After reaching out to a supervisor, Kayson M, I finally got the item delivered on January 16. He then followed up with an email inquiring about delivery confirmation. I responded multiple times, with repeated emails from him stating he had not heard from me. I then called ***************************** service AGAIN, to relay the message that I indeed received the item, but I expected further compensation. Kayson M still continues to send emails stating he had not heard from me, and would be closing my case. I will never, ever buy anything off of Overstock again. I will continue to tell friends, family and any social media platform how awful this entire experience has been.

      I ordered an item that the title was "Spirich 35 inches Small Computer Desk with Hutch and Build in Charging Station, Home Office Writing Desk for Small Space" I expected that meant actually "with" the built-in charging station. It wasn't until my order was actually delivered 2 weeks later that I found out that there were 2 options for this item, "with" the charging station and "without". The item titles are deliberately misleading.

      They refused to accept my Overstock credit card as a form of payment. I placed the order for $9000 worth of furniture. They cancelled my order, sent me email that they need to verify my identity. I sent them a copy of my DL and Overstock Credit Card, and their app even scanned my face. Then they said I can go ahead and place my order again. I placed it, even got estimated time for the delivery, and few days later I saw my order cancelled again. I contacted their Loss ****************************************** and they just told me that they don't feel comfortable approving those purchases for me. Gave me NO reason why. Said I am welcome to use another Credit card on their site, but not their own Overstock credit card...I did purchase many items in last 5-6 years. STAY AWAY if you can!!

      Purchased a pair of console table bookcases to display antique Imari collection. Within a month both units had collapsed and broke up much of the collection. I was promised new parts to replace the broken units and despite dozens of calls and e-mails received no help. I tried to return the units, nothing happened. The Chinese Cimpany that made them, *********,, kept making excuses and Overstock promised a refund. It never happened.The worst part are the repeated lies from Overstock customer service. Horrible company.

      OMG... What a bunch liars... They send me a defective $400 wood stand with shelves, and tell me they're giving me $43 partial refund to keep it as is with the defects... Then after I discard the box and packing material they renege on the promised refund and tell me I have to contact the "seller"... Really? I purchased the item from them, they're the seller... I had already spent my time chatting with their reps ************************ promised the refund... And I have it all in writing... The have no deniability... They're going to pay the refund... The only question is how much reputational and legal damage do they want to inflict on themselves before they realize they messed with the wrong customer...

      Website is not transparent at all. No where does it state that the CA mattress law only applies for old mattresses bought from OverStock. The website makes it seem like all you need to do is place an order and they will pick up your old mattress. I contacted customer service four times and was never given a straight forward answer. I had to call their partner company LoadUp for information. Overstock customer service is not competent and they resort to copy and pasting to answer questions. I had to explain my inquiry each four times I reached out. I work in customer service and this service is not satisfactory. When you ask for a supervisor you should be able to speak to one. First and last order. Learned my lesson.

      I should have looked at this BBB prior to purchasing. They sold me a defective item. It was not opened until Christmas day, yesterday, used one day. And it is already chipping. They would not refund it. Talked to **** with ***************************** Service. Said it was passed the return policy. It was bought in October to avoid the November shipping rush... All of my items were. Spent $60 for a 1 time use. I will not buy from Overstock again. Shame on them!!
