      My son and his roommates vacated their apartment in August 2022 (approx. Aug. 12) and the rent was paid through the end of August. When the boys moved in, the unit wasn't professionally cleaned and had several issues I wanted to review with KeyRenter. The company indicated they do not do walk-thrus with clients.After the unit was vacated, it took 6 weeks to receive the refund with details of deductions.Once we received the details of the deductions I requested a phone call to discuss/dispute the deductions. That process took a few weeks to complete and I was put in touch with ************** was able to have a phone conversation with ****** on 10/5/22 and based on photos I sent her and discussion, it was agreed on that we would receive an additional refund on the disputed items. We agreed to pay for the carpet cleaning and re-keying of unit (per lease agreement). The remainder of the deposit was to be refunded.Additionally, the unit was rented to another party on 8/25/22 - 5 days before our lease technically expired. I asked why we did not receive a rent refund and they said they would add 5 days of rent to our refund. This is something that I had to bring to their attention.As of 10/28/22, our additional refund has yet to be returned to us.I have been in email and phone conversations on almost a daily basis since 10/12/22 with ****** and I am being told this is a priority for them and I should see the refund any day.The latest excuse I was given is that the person that approves the refunds is on vacation.My frustration is that we were initially charged for items that were either existing or did not exist and I believe they had no intention of refunding rent $$ when they rented the unit early until I confronted them with the information Also, everyday, I am told this is a priority for them and yet there seems to be no progress being made in getting the refund of $1,458 returned.I have several supporting emails but am unable to attach here.
