Over a year ago I paid up front for a year of pest control through Hawx services. Over the course of the year I did have to call for extra re-application because the bugs continued to show up. The year went through May and then I was being billed monthly but I had not renewed my contract. The bugs still found their way into my home and in July or early August I called to say I wasn't pleased with services and no longer wanted to pay for them and to stop them. I discover that this wasn't done and the company even had my bank disclose my changed credit card number and billed it anyways! That action is FRAUD and also known as STEALING! I had made numerous attempts to call Hawx but was put on hold, or, when the company would call me, as soon as I picked up to answer, the line would play their recorded message, hang up, and no one was on the line to talk to! So frustrating and demeaning. Terrible customer service! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING HAWX SERVICES FOR PEST CONTROL! Their product does not work like they promise and the company has shown bad customer service when customers want to cancel. Not trustworthy! Their technicians were pleasant.

DO NOT AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! We were approach by a college kid in August wanting to spray our house for pest for $50. I initially rejected the offer but he claimed he was only there for a summer job and my husband felt bad and thought $50 is not bad to have it sprayed. This kid even asked for water and talked to my husband for half an hour on our front porch. He said his internet connection is bad but my husband can go ahead and sign on his phone agreeing he will do the job the next day. My husband gave him his card information for payment. Next day, a different person showed up and said he was assigned to do the job. Not who we expected but whatever, it's one time thing so sure. The whole conversation by the agent they sent and my husband was all recorded by our front porch camera and NEVER did he mention that this was a montly payment, with a 1 year contract and that cancellation fee would be charge if we cancelled. I repeat, NEVER were those words mentioned. He just told my husband to "sign the invoice" and that the contract will be emailed to him. We have forgotten about them until we saw a reoccurring charge of $50 this month. After multiple calls, we found out the BIG SCAM that this is all about. They told my husband unfortunately we just had an agent that didn't do a great job explaining it but my husband wanted it cancelled so they charged us for the cancellation fee. We literally paid $300 for 1 treatment. They refused to refund us the money even though we have proof that my husband was fooled and tricked into signing an "invoice" when in fact it was the contract. Legally, they didn't discuss any contract of any sort yet trapped us in this mess. ABSOLUTELY A JOKE! SCAMMING PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT THEY ARE HELPING THE **** IN THE COMMUNITY. FOR A STRUGGLING FAMILY JUST TRYING TO MAKE ENDS MEET, THIS WAS DEVASTATING FOR US. WE LOST $250 DUE TO THIS COMPANY. WATCH OUT!Hawx Services, LLC

I wouldnt even give this company 1 star if there was less to give. It is Sept 20th today. On August 23rd I sent the following email so the notice would be recorded in writing and also uploaded this document into my customer email. I unfortunately became a Hawx customer last month when a sales rep came to my door and talked me into switching companies. My initial service with Hawx was June 30th by July 14th I had to have them come reservice, which they did not do the full reservice, and what they did complete did not help at all.It is now August 23rd and we have more pests on our property after being a Hawx customer than we have EVER had. We have ants, earwigs, mice, spiders, wasps, ticks, chiggers, and all kinds of beetles that we did not have with our other company even though I was ASSURED that my prior company was not sufficient and the Hawx would be better. These are all pests that are promised to be exterminated in my contract and package with Hawx.Let it be documented that I am fully cancelling Hawx services effective today August 23, 2023. This company has no consent to charge my credit card, and I fully expect a refund for services I paid for that were clearly not effective. Reading countless reviews online it is clear this company shows little ethic, so I suspect will attempt to charge a cancellation fee for breech of contract. However, I would not be canceling or not fulfilling contract if Hawx Services had not breeched contract or fulfilled what they promise and advertise to their customers. This company is a disappointment and I feel tricked and taken advantage of. Since this I have attempted to contact Hawx by sale rep(ignored me), customer service phone (they hung up on me) , online chat (told me they couldnt help), and email (ignored me) with no resolution. I just keep getting payment reminders for services not complete and completely unsuccessful. Shouldve never switched companies, this has been a complete mess! BEWARE!!Hawx Services, LLC

1 starNot only do I still have ants. Even after they came back for the free warranty several times. I called on August 21st to cancel my account. I got an email stating that they would reach out and if they were not able to get a hold of me that they would cancel my account automatically. Today September 19th I get a receipt in my email and charge $53.76 out of my bank account. I call to find out why my account is not canceled and I'm being charged. I am told that they were too busy to call me back within the last 30 days, and my account didn't make it on to the automatic cancel list. And that it's a GOOD charge And there's nothing they can do. I've been bounced around to different people being told that the account manager is the only one who can give me a refund but he sent me to collections. I'm being told that there's no way I can get my money back for something that I had nothing to do with. I called in a timely manner to cancel my account. I got an email saying that my account would be canceled. I've been charged 30 days later and I am not able to get my money back because it's a GOOD charge. THE MAN THAT I SPOKE TO IN COLLECTIONS TOLD ME TO DISPUTE IT WITH MY BANK. That's how they want me to handle this. I shouldn't have to. I should be able to get my money back.Review fromThomas M

The company is dishonest doesnt provide the work that they say theyre going to when theyre called they try to lower your price after theyve done up charge do you buy more than $30 a month then they want to discount it back to what it was and then they want to try to charge a termination fee for breach of contract I guess not sure what that supposed to mean, but there was no contract. I was told I could cancel at any time and it just continues that the dishonesty even when I called customer service to get the account canceled then they went on and charged me another $200 for other charges that Im not sure what our so I just dont want services with this company longer northside anyone else want services with this companyHawx Services, LLC

I signed up for Hawk Services which started in June of 2023. Since then they have only come once more in August. My house is in worse state before their services and I have pest in rooms that were there before. When I called to cancel, they claimed there was an early termination fee of $199 which I was not aware of prior or that I was in a contract. They refuse to offer a refund as I'm dissatisfied with their services and customer service. When I questioned why isn't it verbally communicated to clients prior to services this is a contract or that there's an early termination fee. ******* says emails are sent to customers after signing up for services and they have over ****** customers. I told her, "yeah but you have thousands of customers complaining of this same issue due to your company's lack of communication". I will not be doing business with this company again and I will be fighting to get my money back.Hawx Services, LLC

I signed a contract that should have been &200 for the year split into payments of $58/month.Tested my yard once. After having paid $180 of the total bill, I contacted them again about retreating or cancelling. Ants were back in 1 week after first treatment. They charged my account another $200, claiming it was a cancellation fee. SCAM!Refused to refund anything.Hawx Services, LLC

This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with. Their sales tactics are all lies. We were told at point of sale that we would be billed quarterly for quarterly services. We are being billed monthly. I have tried to call countless times unable to get in touch with anyone that can help me. I have tried to use the call back service and never received a callback. We have spent so much time trying to right their wrongs and they are not accountable. Not only do they lie but the services the provided did not work as they described. DO NOT give this company your business. There are lots of other local business that will be honest and grateful to have your business.Hawx Services, LLC

This company is a SCAM!!! Our home was not treated when it should be, not on time (as in MONTHS overdue), not inside, not thoroughly, nothing. I canceled our services the day our contract ended. I received an email the same day stating they got my cancelation notice and would try to contact me, but if not, would cancel my services immediately. A month later, I was billed again. I called and ******* was awful! She refused to work with me in any way, simply stating that "We're not supposed to use those emails anymore." When I told her they did, and it's in writing that they would cancel and I would like to be refunded for the last month, she refused saying they can't cancel via email anymore and shouldn't have sent me that email. I told her it was their error and should still refund my last payment that shouldn't have been charged. She refused and also stated there was no one higher than her I could speak with. I told her I followed everything in my contract and canceled as per my contract stated and they agreed, in writing, to cancel. Legally, I am not in the wrong and should be refunded. She refused, going back to "we don't use those emails anymore and you won't see your money back." STAY AWAY FROM HAWX!! Horrible service and worse customer service!!Hawx Services, LLC
