This company is a SCAM!!! Our home was not treated when it should be, not on time (as in MONTHS overdue), not inside, not thoroughly, nothing. I canceled our services the day our contract ended. I received an email the same day stating they got my cancelation notice and would try to contact me, but if not, would cancel my services immediately. A month later, I was billed again. I called and ******* was awful! She refused to work with me in any way, simply stating that "We're not supposed to use those emails anymore." When I told her they did, and it's in writing that they would cancel and I would like to be refunded for the last month, she refused saying they can't cancel via email anymore and shouldn't have sent me that email. I told her it was their error and should still refund my last payment that shouldn't have been charged. She refused and also stated there was no one higher than her I could speak with. I told her I followed everything in my contract and canceled as per my contract stated and they agreed, in writing, to cancel. Legally, I am not in the wrong and should be refunded. She refused, going back to "we don't use those emails anymore and you won't see your money back." STAY AWAY FROM HAWX!! Horrible service and worse customer service!!

******************* came to my house and lied to my face. I told him I wanted a one time service and was going to pay cash but he told me that I would have to pay by credit card for the one time service. The company tried to hit my card for another service but was denied. I called the company to tell them that I paid for a one time service and told them about my coversation with ***** but they said I would have to pay $199 to get out the contract. ***** is lacking ETHICS and this company that is willing to back this kind of behavor is appalling. I wish I would have read the reviews on this company before doing business with them.Hawx Services, LLC

They claim that they will charge you once per quarter, but they actually bill you once per month for a quarterly service, and then they won't answer your calls or texts!! I will now have to reach out to my credit card company to try to get this money back. So annoying.Hawx Services, LLC

1 starHow does this company have average rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars when everyone is leaving only 1 star!? Im sure wed leave ZERO stars if BBB would allow it. I agree with everyone else who is saying this company is a scam. A door to door salesman came buy offering Hawx Services. I had lived at the home 2weeks. He was friendly and described what sounded like a great service, $49 four times a year and would come out between treatments if needed for free. Good luck with that one! I tried to call, no answer! I tried their website live chat and I also sent an email.NO ANSWER to either! This man, calling himself **** like the character in the ****** movie even offered a free 1 time mosquito treatment. He never did an indoor treatment, yet some how I was later charged for 2treatments and apparently signed 2 contracts. I called and complained and kept being put on hold and nothing was done. I tried to cancel and was told it would be a $398 canceling fee. I put a hold on my card and told them I wasnt paying because I was deceived, they tried to charge me again but the charges didnt go through. They got me for $98 before I was able to do all that. It may not seem like a lot but believe me, Im going to make sure the word gets out! Im sure the companys response will be the same as the response to everyone elses complaint of I want to look into this can you email me at **********. I dont expect any resolution. I worked for this company a few months ago. As a formal employee I would never ever recommend my friends or family to this company. Not even myself. **************** is awful, we as sales reps were basically trained into scamming people into buying the service, and the top guys over it just arent good people. There was a whole sketchy feeling to working with this company. Not honest, bad management, and even worse services. I quit because I wasnt doing honest work and I know what the company was doing is wrong. Hopefully they can be bought out and be turned into something more trustworthy.Hawx Services, LLC

*********, ** metro area. 2022, Jan., I received notice of rate increase and switch to monthly billing. I disputed the monthly billing, in writing and later by phone. They honored my dispute and charged me more for quarterly billing. 2023, May, no notice of rate increase or monthly billing received by me, but they did it anyway. They claim a notice was sent, but I never received it, else I would have again disputed. My wife cancelled them, but after one of the monthly charges had posted, between services. I called to request my money back for the posted charge for which no service was rendered. They refused to give money back that they took from my account. See you in small claims court, HAWX. Do not give these people your bank account information. Hard pass, move to competitor with ethical business practices. That said, I had no problems with the actual service or technicians.Hawx Services, LLC

Hawx Pest Control is a SCAM!!! We were happy with the company we were with and the scammer of a salesperson *****, made promises of cheaper pricing, etc and it has ended up costing us way more than we ever spent with our previous company. The sales rep advised us to lie to our last company, saying we are moving to a state they do not service so they wouldn't charge us a cancellation fee. Told us they didn't have a cancellation fee so we wouldn't have to worry. We signed up with them in July and have already been charged 3 times with one service and we had to call them back out because the ants we were dealing with only got worse. We called to discuss making it right and/or cancel the service and the **** *********** (?) we got became irritated and hung up on us. They gave us a manager's number but he has blocked us and will not return any calls. They charged us a "monthly fee" of $70+ on 9/5/2023 and instead of calling us back to save the account, they just charged our account $215 to cancel it today, 9/7/2023. I highly recommend you NOT signing up with this company unless you want to be swindled and experience poor service. Their customer service is the worst!!!Hawx Services, LLC

If only we had stopped the sales person at our door and read the reviews here first. As **** E below rightly said, it is near impossible to reach anyone with your issue. The sales person told us one thing but the service agreement he made us sign was deceptive worded, and locked us into an agreement. We were told it was a one-time trial so we agreed as we already had another contract with another company. Next thing, I'm getting a monthly bill - I tried to call but was unable to reach anyone. Finally THEY called me because they were chasing payment (which wasn't late BTW). I told them the background story, and all I got from the account manager was "the sales guy is no longer with us and you signed the agreement, so why should I take your word over his?". I ended up asking to send me a final invoice as I no longer want to have anything to do with them. Guess what? Their final invoice includes a monthly fee AND the termination fee. I have just called and spoken to them again but customer service told me they cannot overide the account manager, Destiny. HAWX are schemers, and will rip you off, and have no shame in doing so. It is more likely than not, the account manager assigned to your account is on commission hence the reluctance and arrogance in the way they treat you. Being new to **, I am beyond disappointed and disgusted that companies like HAWX exist.Hawx Services, LLC

I have been trying to get my services cancelled with Hawks. It is absolutely unbelievable that they are now charging a 400 dollar plus cancellation fee. When I first signed up for services the tech assured if I wanted to cancel it woul be 190 dollars. I followed the steps to get it cancelled and even received an email. They charged me again and when I called back they did not cancel my subscription..and offered me a discount after I stated I wanted to cancel. My fiancee called and spoke to a rude rep who did not offer any help. This company needs to explore better ways to help customers. It is senseless that you are sold a service and then you have to move mountains to get help. Overcharging people to cancel a service should be a crimeHawx Services, LLC

WARNING! Hawx Pest Control is a scam!I was called by one of the "Salesman" from the North ******* Location (*************************************************************************************************) to ask if I would like a treatment. I was out of town in ****** (I live in *******) in training and I approved the treatment at $71.00. The agreement was for 4 treatments per year at $71.00. Well, 9-5 I get a receipt that I was charged an additional $71.00 for a "Membership". I was also told that I signed a contract for service and there would be a $200.00 early termination fee. Which of course was impossible as I was 300 miles north of *******. The young lady I talked to said the contract had a dash in the signature box (well I guess the sales guy did that) and she was going to have the manager look at it and she would get back to me. Needless to say, I never got a callback. Today 9-6, I called back to check on the status, She's in a meeting and will call you back. (I'll update you with the results, but I'm betting I'm going to dispute this with the credit card company)Bottom line, I was never told about a subscription/membership fee or any discussion on a contract. If they are charging $71.00 a month for 4 times a year spraying that comes out to $284.00 per application. Not to mention an "Early termination fee". Does this sound reasonable? Not to me.If I was told any of this I would have hung up the phone.POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE!Follow up:The management decided that a dashed line on the contract made it valid.
